Guys, i posted this a few days ago

"I think a got a hard one for the forum, I remember myself playing a puzzle game about some "monsters" from different planets, if i'm not wrong it was a demo cd with other games for the windows 98 system. Anyone?"

Please, anyone knows about it? In addition, I remember a level on the game where there was a kind of pyramid of questions and the more questions you answered the higher u went, that was almost at the end of the demo.

I played a point a click adventure game about 10 years ago that I have tried to find for a while without success. I don't remember much about it. It was for PC and had a pretty dark atmosphere. It was played in first person and you only used the mouse where the pointer was shaped like a small hand. It was puzzle based and I think the puzzles were pretty hard (for a 10year-old) and unconvential but I don't remember any of them in detail (maybe one with a round thing which sections lit up and you had to imitate it to unlock). You walked around in this big grey metal/concrete building and clicked to your right or left to turn or go into another room and I think I remember a round room with weird bodies/specimens suspended in fluid along the whole wall. You were alone in the game. I don't remember if there was a story line given or if you were supposed to find out what was going on on your own but I don't think there was a story.

I'm sorry it's so vague but it was so long ago, if I could remember anything more specific I might have been able to find it myself. I don't even remember if I liked the game but I can't stop thinking about it.

Hi guys. So I have been looking for this game whole day. I used to play it back in period between 2006-2008. Game is kinda horrorish. On beginning you can choose betwenn 4 charracters. One is woman with a spear (i think) on others side there are 2-3 guys, one with axe, one with sword and one with dunno what. Game is, as you can see historic, you fight some skeletons that are coming out of ground, there are other NPCs u fight, I remember boss I couldn't pass, he used to teleport in the room where we fought and he was all red. In game was mentioned some red sword or sword with blood, dunno, and I think ( not sure) in game's name there is "blood" something. I hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: more info, if it help

Game is not first person, you see your character infront of you and you move him
If you're looking for games cover, it's RED.
It has so scarry sound while you play. ( I used to play with no sound lol)
Those 4 charracters I talked about: woman is starting in place where is some kind of pyramid in middle. Old guy is starting in place near a house, or tunel not sure. And big guy is starting on open somewhere. I hope one of these infos will help. If I remember something I'll edit post again.

After I posted this, I went 1 page back, and I found IT! XD Some guy was looking for same game like me Blades of Darkness.

Hi I'm lokking for a game from the late 90's or possibly early 2000's.
It has an futuristic industrial setting, and you view your character from a 3rd person point of view.
I think your character were dressed in red armour of some sort and you we're navigating through the game with your mouse, shooting bad guys, and trying to retrieve/solve/find the way out. You had a gun but I think you could use both mines and bombs/grenades aswell

I never owned it myself, only played at my friends, so I can't really remember the plot or that many details, the name has been lost to me for years.

Found it myself, I was quite right with my guesses.
It's called CRUSADER: NO REMORSE.
It came out in 95 (with a sequel in 96) and is set in a dystopian future. You are some kind of elite supersoldier who defects from the tyrannic government and joins the rebells.
You mainly do secret missions where silence is a big help, all while donning a bright red full body armour.

Got a tough one for you guys

Here's what I remember:
--I believe the game was an action/platformer side scrolling game, but I am, unfortunately, not 100% on that.
--I believe the game was for the NES, but it may have been for the SNES.
--I believe the game was stone-age themed. I originally thought it was in the adventure island series, but as far as I can tell, the elements I list below are not a part of that series, so I must be mistaken.
--The game had some RPG elements. As you progressed, you got a house (I think it started as a cave?) and could buy things to decorate it like wall coverings
--The detail that sticks out most in my mind is that there was a mini-game where you chose a wife for your character. There would be 3 curtains and all you could see was a pair of bare feet under each. There were two attractive (for 8 bits anyway :p) women and one who was... *ahem*... rather large. You had to pick the right woman 3 or 4 times before she agreed to be your wife, but picking the larger woman once made her automatically say yes and marry you.

Anyway, that's all I've got and it is, sadly, not a ton, but if anyone remembers this game please drop me a line! Thanks.
Someone pointed me to Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics. It appears to be the game I was remembering, but it was not popular at all so little info to come by. I'll have to replay it to make sure.

Well the sketch (and some of the elements) are similar to Teeworlds (see the resemblance :p ) ( https://www.teeworlds.com/images/screens/screenshot_desert.png )

But I'm fairly certain that's not the game.. still doesn't ring a bell for me.

After stumbling on this thread from some google searches, I decided I needed to join up. I have been looking for a game I played on an old mac early to mid 90's. It was a text based game (sort of) in which you become a movie producer. You give the movie a name, tell the system the names of the actors and type of movie your making. It goes through development and you launch the movie on a specific date. Some voodoo happens to calculate everything and you get a rating on how well your movie did.

Does anyone know the game I am talking about? Any help would be appreciated.

I have been searching forever for this old pc game. I am pretty sure I got a demo of it off of a PC GAMER magazine demo disk. It was like a 3rd person isometric view and you played a mage/wizard that walked around a map and fought other wizards. You could summon creatures and cast spell and there were items you could pick up to help you. There were like nodes that you could use to power up with. I can't remember much else but I remember it was really fun and would like to find it. There was also fog of war on the map as well

Genre: Science Fiction, Strategy
Timeframe: early 1990s
Platform: PC
Description: You?re a general or commander or mayor or something. You?ve got various aspects of the game to manage: A Space Fleet, Planet?s Surface, Building new ships. I don?t remember if it was turn based or continuous, but it wasn?t a RTS, and it wasn?t 3rd or 1st person.
The biggest thing I remember about the game is this: There?s a screen where you?re looking down at the planet?s surface, like satellite view, and you can tell them mine different places, which you designated with circles, which got deeper as turns or time went on. It was organized by grids, I think coordinates, because when I started a new game, I could always go back to the same spot and find the same things. I think some locations yielded better than others. But then you could like find things, like if you mine in one spot, you locate an old buried starship. When you mine deep enough, you uncover it, you can add it to your space fleet. I remember doing this every game because that ship was worth so much resources to have equivalent strength in my fleet. To that effect, I think throughout the game you?re trying to build up your fleet with ships to have a strong force, and you use the resources to do that.
The only thing I remember building up my fleet for was to prevent myself from losing the game, which seemed to always happen at a certain spot. When I lost, it was a cutscene of a bunch of futuristic soldiers (don?t remember if alien or not) surrounding your fortress and busting in. Then it basically said you lose, game over. I think that an invading force beat you, and you get taken over as the commander or whatever. I could never get past that part.
Been googling for about an hour, and looking through scifi computer game lists, and I can?t seem to find anything, so I appreciate your help!
Random point if it helps anything: I?m pretty sure I remember my dad buying it from Radio Shack (back when they were a cool place to get PC games). I was between the ages of 6 to 9 years old. It wasn't a kids game tho, my dad played it too.

Ok. This one was a very old 95 windows game (not sure if that's accurate, but just to describe the time). It played like Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate, and Planescape: Torment. Where it was a top view, you point and click and your characters would move to that location (yes more than just one controllable character), and you have to click on enemies to initiate combat and that's it, they start shooting them. To describe the look, it was very futuristic, you controlled super soldiers dressed in mechanical armor? Not mechas, but they had that look. I don't believe it was Xcom, but I'm not sure. It was just like Icewind Dale though (for the 5 minutes I played it at a friend's house, I immediately loved how I could mow down baddies with a click of a mouse and this troop of soldiers would just listen and take them down.) There was about 5 soldiers and I think they were red. It was not Crusader: No remorse, because the cursor followed the mouse, and that was where you would shoot in that game, no this was just a point and click command game. Come on, any ideas? Set in the future remember, kinda like Fallout but I was in a bunker or ship or something. I can't remember if it had aliens or not...ugh. Help?

EDIT: Actually I met my friend in about 2002 or so, so the game may not be as old as I said before. it did remind me of the Fallout games, but the attacks were instant, not taking you into VATS and it's grid/chessboard like system. I think it was Isotopic though.

iight. as u can c im new. but im having problems remembering this game I played wen I was little. All I remember is details and sum of the gameplay. but I no im not the only that ran across this game.

It was a ps2 game and on the cover of this particular game it was a man with (I think )a gun in his hand ,but i no for a fact the main character has glowing blue veins on his arm.and he was surrounded with his friends beside him, also they blacken out sum of the characters n and the background was red.

now with gameplay. I remember different parts. for example. during the game. sumthing is going to happen to the main character and while he being rushed to the emergency room (inside the hospital ) there is a floating thing u play as, and then the doctors start losing him while taking him to a room and the screen fades out. then I guess the accident causes him to get the blue veins after surgery. then they let u play as the floating thing and u can free roam in the hospital.

then on another part of the game there's these mechanical spiders. there green wen there urs and red wen there enemies. also you have to go through a parking lot filled wit these robots things.

and its another part where ur in the city in combat.

its a long story line n I still havnt finished it so I wanted to ask y'all to help me out and hopefully sumbody out there no the game im talking bout

Alright, here goes. Turn-based wizard/spellcasting dueling game. Top-down view. Sprite characters. Forest/dark tone to the graphics. You could summon monters and cast spells. Your starting space was a blue circular shield (may have decayed after a few turns, unsure about this). Dos-era (probably Win 95/98 era). Probably came on one of the game collection CDs that were all over the place at the time.

Best suggestion I've gotten so far (though incorrect) was 'Chaos: Battle of Wizards' which seems to have the right gameplay mechanic and viewpoint but is the wrong OS and much more primitive graphics. I've tried looking at every list of Chaos-related games I've been able to find but none of them have had the game I recall playing on it.

Would appreciate any help anyone has to give this has been driving me crazy for a few weeks solid now. Thanks.
Apologies if this is poor etiquette but I wanted to bump my post in case posting on Dec 30 wasn't the best time. I don't have any more information to share than was already in that first post (though the cd collection might also have included a dinosaur/caveman slot machine game, which said something like "bunga binga" when you won, but I can't be certain of that).

Thanks again.
Morkin? ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFc1TSCfLqM )
No, also close though. That's one of the chaos remakes I've run across in my searches though. The graphics in that are fairly close to what I recall in the game I'm looking for. The main differences in the graphics though are that the wizard in my game is in profile and the scene for the combat was grassy/forest-y (or at least could be I don't recall if there were choices of arenas).

Thanks for trying though.

Hello guys! I found this forum when I was searching old games and I have a few I want you to help me ^.^ I played these games through 1995-2000 years

?1.-This one I remember it was like a red little elf and with a sleeping hat (?) That character needed to move things in different stages moving things like yellow circle things and everything to make your way to the end of it. It was like a puzzle game that, if you get stuck, you can start again until you finish. Another thing that I remember is that it must not eat venomous mushrooms because it turn like green or like sick and dies saying "oh oh!", haha. Very simple game and with white background.

?2.-This game was for learning english things and I remember it was like a cartoon with raccoons that always guide you. I had a demo version of a doctor at the start that shows rythms of some words, and then, it return you to the game searching things, making rythms and collecting gems in different places of the game. Itw as a clicking with mouse game and that's all I remember. Those raccoons appear in many educational games.

?3.- This other game was like a copy of pac-man, I remember it had many others of the same series. It could fly with the wind, and everything, it was a 2D game better than pac-man with stages and the music was like midi of other games. One of those I remember of the songs where "Dr. Wily Stage 1 of Megaman 2", and many other songs of the 80's and 90's english songs, only that there were MIDI, haha. At the end there was a speaking like a scary voice speaking to the pac-man (I'll call it like that, hehe) that looks like there was a continue game of it, but... well, I don't remember more.

?4.-This last one was like an Arkanoid game, maybe the game was named like that but I don't find it anywhere. I remember that, when you hit the ball with electricity, the ball goes quickly, and, when you ball was touched with acid, the ball vanish every block on the way. Also, I remember that in some level, UFO's appear and you can hit them, haha. It was a very coloful game.

Well, hope you can help me with those ones that are very important for me.

P.S. Sorry for my poor english... hehe

So there is a game I use to play way back when at school that I believe was on the Sega Genesis. The game was a space shooter, but you didn't actually fly around space. You were in some kind of robotic room trying to shoot at these bosses that kind of looked like cycloptic robot balls or something. Verytex has a very similar enemy, but I'm not certain that is the game. It is possible this game may of been on Sega Saturn or SNES, but I'm almost positive that it was on Genesis. I always think the game is some how connected to Centipede, but I'm not certain. I just know everything looked robotic and you flew around the boss shooting away layers to get to the center.
