Alright guys, hopefully you can help me. I am looking for an old spaceship type game...but I played it about 15 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Basically you could get different ships and stuff...it was a 3rd person overhead play and it had a `gravity`like feel to it when you were flying. It was not really anything like `space invaders`...quite different. It was either dos or windows 95 lol.

/edit a few other things, you could fly around the whole screen, and the map was larger than your screed. You could spin any direction and you would get attacked by..other ships? You could buy different ships and items for your ships I think.
found it!! Operation: Inner Space..

Hi Guyz!

I am totally new here(like a Paratrooper landing on new continent..) so in advance sorry for not following any rules or something like that... and sorry for bad grammar..

(My memory is very blury because I played this game on my first PC so I was very young at that time and my information may mislead you...)

I am trying to remember an adventure game (I think..) and all I can remember is that the game is on PC ( win 98 or 95 I think), the main character is in blue clothes(robe), camera is like bird view (in some situations 2D - 3D). its like detective puzzle solveing RPG game, u collect various items to progress in game also coins ( I cant remember what you use the coins for... XD). The name Lab, Lab32 keeps poping im my head when I am trying to remember anything.. (maby it has something to do with publishers or the door from the house lab that you must open with a key, i dont know... And the last thing that I can remember is the scene, the house lab, red car, but the sea is also near like a coastal area or docks.. and it mostly rained in that area and if I am not mistaking the castle was also visible in the distance... oh yeah something to mention, its not very engageable game in terms of fighting you mostly trying to run away from danger... that is all so if, IF anyone knows the name of the game PLEASE tell me, I will also be active here now and help for mutual interest not just snatch the info and vanish!
I guess it could be Little Big Adventure 2.

so being thinking/remebering about this game I also rememered another AWESOME game that i have played and its about racing, its a PC arcade racing game with space ships who you can upgade (weapons, speed, ect.) or you can buy new better ships and upgrade them, its strictly about raceing, its strictly 2D game, you had multyplayer, 4 players or 2 players ( dont know exatc 2 or 4 players...), also good to mention i played this game before first described game, it was one of my first games I have ever played and u had AWSD, space controls so it was keyboard rapist not the joystick. :D

thank you in andvance and cheers from Croatia :)
For the second game take a look at Slipstream 5000

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slipstream_5000

Thank you for so fast reply, but unfortunately its not the game, I ment 2D like literaly 2D.. I dont know the terms diferences between slipstream 5000 and Galaxy 5000 but I ment 2D like Galaxy 5000 and ofcourse that game was more simpler in background (mostly everything was black except obstacles that shaped the track which were grey) than actual ship from galaxy 5000 game, in that game was who had crazyer weapons he would win and if I am not mistaking ships had shields... anyway thx for trying :)

First Encounter Assault Recon said:
I remember it was a gameplay trailer, or more it felt like a technological demo, showing off an engine without any HUD (ammo, health etc). I think I saw it between years 2006-2007. It was a First Person Shooter set in some sandy town which felt like Egypt, Turkey or Iraq, the place where it was happening looked like this - http://bit.ly/1btublC ... you know this kind of a building structure, I also remember that there was a little sandstorm going through that place, enemies were all over the place - on roofs, on balconies, in alleys, enemies were also wearing this on head - http://bit.ly/1d1D1xO ... person which you controlled could lean over objects, was holding and shooting from a weapon which looked like FN-FAL - http://bit.ly/1cvMngh or HK21 - http://bit.ly/1hL3YaZ ... at least I think, and in a background was playing some kind of an orchestral Arabian/Turkish felt-like music. I don't even know if that game was released or cancelled, or if it was just some kind of a technological demo, and I also don't know for what platforms it was made for. Can't remember more.

I won't give up posting 'til someone knows a name of this game.

OK I will now type just rubish but tell me honestly that your description dont smell like Spec Ops: The Line? (only year doesnt match)... :D XD

Hi !
So am looking for two games ! one is kinda "snake" game which you had to clear the screen to be able to get to the next level, the thing about this game was it was on time, and the snake was moving all the time. Some times a watch would pop up and you would get extra time, and a heart could also pop up and you'd get an extra life. The game was a puzzle type, and the snake got longer with every bite it took. When you ate everything the you moved on to the next "island". i don't even remember on what console it was i remember i had emulators on my pc.

And the other game a played a demo. Its a shoot em up flight game. but ur plane was a wasp like thing, you played the game with a view from above, you got weapon upgrades and so on. that i think was a PC game.

Hope you can help me !

Alright people...you will all be my heroes if you can help me out here.

The PC game I remember was when I was very very young and I only remember playing it at my father's friend's house a handful of times. The only part of the game I remember is being a ship on the ocean, but instead of a ship, you were a rectangular picture of a man's face. And you would encounter other ships/faces and have to fight them. I honestly cannot remember anything else about this game, and I promise it wasn't a dream. Also, it's not Sid Meier's Pirates! I definitely remember playing that game...and still do.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Wanting to find a game I forgot the name of. Thought it was Cherubim. But it was a game in which one played a baby with six wings, who would go about and possess a bunch of bad guys like street thugs or other sorts causing them to poetically kill one another or off themselves while possessed.

It's probably Messiah, it has come here already few pages earlier. I don't believe the baby had 6 wings, but then again, how many possesing cherub games are out there?

There was a game I played on a CD DEMO for windows 98, it had the Following statements Total Annihilation, Command & Conquer, MAX: Mechanized Assault and Exploration and the game I can not remember his name. It was a sound close to C & C game, only the economy of the war game was based on the exploitation of water. The demo began with the main character was a soldier in the middle of something like a forest, and you had to release a few characters from station hostage, as these characters was only possible to build the foundation that had to be near a source of water, and then is attacked by a rival army.

Important detail: all were apparently human.

Please someone tell me the name of this game.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a PC game that had 3 factions based on a tiled map. You battled to take control of control points with a group of units you commanded with other people who had their own units and the units were very starcraft-esque. For example, on faction had tanks, artillery etc and another faction MAY have been zerg-like but I'm not entirely sure...

It was quite futuristic and sci-fi but had poor graphics but great gameplay.

If anyone could help, that would be great THANK YOU!

EDIT: The game was early 2000s I think and there was a system where you could vote for a leader (real player) for your faction regularly. I'm not sure about this but you could also pay to upgrade your units/having to replace or repair them? You could definitely level them up with the fighting I think. It was in third person, angled-down view, similar to Starcarft. Graphics actually quite similar to Starcraft.

Edit 2: Some more information is that it was FREE TO PLAY and you didn't have to build building for units, the units entered strait into battle with you (and units came in groups of like 8 or 10, not individually. There were also no heroes.

I remember playing a tomb raider-like game, it was on PC and I believe the early 2000's, you played a female character, it was 3rd person shooter and it was in the wilderness. You started out in a type of tutorial area that was kind of like a small village in a wooded area right next to a cliff, possibly in the mountains, and I remember a strange detail about this area, you were able to grab baby kangaroo type animals with your hands and throw them, they were scattered throughout this beginning area, and you were able to throw them off of the cliff, I also remember having duel uzi's at some point in the game, and I think I remember being in a cave, if you think you may know what I am talking about, please let me know!! I also think this was just the demo for the full game
Space Bunnies Must Die, perhaps? ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBTsc-vRitU&t=2m55s )

no that isnt it unfortunately, it wasnt futuristic, didnt have lasers or anything like that, thankyou for the reply though!

Ok, I've been trying to find this game for YEARS, but to no avail. I played it at school when I was in 5th grade, so it would've been around 1999, and it was a point-and-click puzzle game with an inventory. I remember that it had something to do with weather and one of the puzzles required you to convert a temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit (we always had to ask the teacher for help with this, she had the conversion memorized). The other puzzles involved fixing various machines, but I can't remember what the objective of the game was. I know this is super vague, but I would love it if someone could help me with the name of this game!

Edit: Oh boy... I just found a reddit post with someone looking for the same game! He seems to remember a lot more about it so I'll just paste his post here:

"I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this old game, I just remember having a great time playing through it several times, god, probably close to two decades ago now.
It was point-and-click for the most part, I believe, and I can remember a bunch of the places it took you, but nothing of what it might be. I remember trips to the Sphinx and Pyramids of Egypt, Stonehenge, Atlantis, the group's mountain base, and a tornado-wrecked trailer park, which I think was the starting area.
Any chance anyone else remembers this old thing and can help jog my memory? I'm just wandering down nostalgia lane here."

2nd edit: I found someone else! Here's their forum post:

"Going nuts trying to think of the name of this game
From the late 90s or early 2000s, it was an educational puzzle/adventure game about weather.
You flew from place to place in a jet and the world had been destroyed by storms caused by an evil scientist.
I remember one scene in Kansas with a trailer and a busted robot. Another scene where you had to get into this like base or building and there was a keypad you had to enter temperatures and barometer readings into. Another puzzle involved a sun dial.
Please please please tell me someone knows what this damn game is called!"

Hi so I just came across this site and decided to give it a try.

I used to play this game when I was younger, like 9-10 years ago at least. It was for gamecube and
The objective of the game was unclear as I was too young to really know what I was doing,
But you were in this futuristic tank looking thing on some planet that may have bee mars? I'm jut assuming
Because it was red. There was a map with a bunch of little red dots indicating all the enemy tank things or whatever
They were. Once you got close to a enemy base, there was massive, tall and skinny tower that you had to destroy
Without being killed, while the tower and other space tanks shot at you. I've been
Trying to remember this game for years so if you could help me out that would be great..

Thanks.

Sounds like Dark Reign even though I can't remember the mission itself. Water is the main resource in this game and it is from the same year as TA.

Alright, guys, I'm looking for a late 90s/early 2000s PC game, Disney, kind of like Kingdom Hearts. You can go into "worlds" that are based around Disney movies. I can remember Ursula, and an Alice in Wonderland themed one. And something from the witch from Snow White, she's like holding the apple. I think you play as Mickey but not too sure on that. I've tried googling it but nothing comes up just long lists of every Disney game ever made. It's driving me nuts!

Edit: nvm, found it. Ha. Disney's Villians' Revenge.
