Can't believe this thread is still alive! i'd appreciate help if possible...

The game I'm looking for was out in the UK roughly between '99 - '05 (doesn't help much!) It may be a FF game but I'm not so sure.

It was an RPG with turn based combat, fighting monsters and armies. The main protagonist (you) would walk around the world on his own, but would have a few people fight alongside him in combat.

The main bit of the story that i remember is that i was walking around the main city and could buy stuff from shops, then I was sent on a quest to collect something from another town. when i came back, the whole city was in flames and sombre music played. I believe I can remember a back story of someone and his army trying to rule the land, pretty sure I remember seeing soliders with large banners in the open world.

I also remember getting into a castle and fight off monsters (specifically a large, chain like monster?) and also spirits/ghosts. I seem to remember forests as well.

The graphics were 2D, top down, and very similar to how old Pokemon games looked (albeit this was in colour). The combat looked very similar to this: http://www.technobuffalo.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/ffivadvance_2.jpg
(I'm not convinced its that game though?)

Oh my god, I need help... I've wasted more than 10 hours in total to try to find the game that I used to play when I was a kid.

I start describing it:

So the game was about using a aircraft to save villagers from giant spiders and I think more other monsters, I think it is from the age of 1998-2004 (PC), it was a 3D game and u could fly around with ur aircraft and pick up villagers, the aircraft was something like this http://www.pcsimstore.com/images/detailed/0/sa-2-samson-avatar-fsx-1.jpg .

Please help, thank you.

I could really need some help! ^^ I´ve looked along time for this game, like years. Im sure it´s not Doom, Quake, Hexxen or Heretic... almost 100% sure.

I played it between 1994-1997 I think. It was a fps- which u controlled with your arrow keyes, so no visual of you, just a hand holding a wep. You could have a blue weapon like a gun, and an upgraded blue weapon with abit of orange on it I think. You could also hold a white wand with a star on top of it. Im sure there were more weapons. You shot different kind of monsters, but I remember two. One was a normal witch with a white dress and with black hair and then there was a tougher version that had a red dress I think and black hair.
You were supposed to find keys (blue, red, green or yellow) and each key could open a corresponding door. So you find a blue key, open the blue door, kill mobs, find a red door and try to find a red key.

I also remember a level (I think it was lvl 13) where the corridor or maze was shaped like a plus, with four dead end corners. I was stuck there until I figured out you could press the space key and open a secret door that lead to a key and another door.

That´s all I remember. Does anyone remeber this game? Please help! Ty =)

Hello everyone! I'm not sure if someone already looked for that game. Anyway i'll try.

There is a some kind of action adventure game. I guess it about future. Game taking place on something like big station on planet. First game video starts when guy in face shield mask cutting you up.
Then when games begins you are cyborg in broken prison camera. I guess after crash the laser door become broken. You can walk out in corridor where you can see another prisoner big green guy. You walk further and there is a door, and to open it you need a 5 finger hand, but after surgery you got only 3. You comin' back beat that green guy and cut his hand off with laser camera door, i don't remember how exactly. And that hand fits to door panel.
Also i remember that you can find a some kind of plasma gun and you can shot things.

Game is pretty old, i played it in 90s.

4. The spaceship game;
In this game the protagonist was an aircraft. The first level was in a subway station (or so it appeared like), you had to fight other aircrafts in this subway station, I remember your aircraft had different weapons and that the subway appeared maze like. The graphics were similar to around 2000s.
Hmmm maybe it's Terminal Velocity or Descent 1, Descent 2.

Hi all hopefully someone can help me out.

Ok it was a PC game I'm not sure when it came out but I played it around 2000-2006. I have looked for ages for the game but couldn't find it, it is a rts game with dated graphics, similar to Warcraft 3 but less 3D if that makes sense. It was real-time no turn based.

From looking through images some of the buildings from Warcraft 3 look similar but that may just be me mixing some things up.

Ok so basically you had a level set out with chests and loads of different monsters, one thing that stood out was that there was a level editor and you could put down different tiers of the same monster, they would be different in colour to show tier.

It was an rts and you were able to build mages who could cast spells and build units with different abilities. The goblin could get a flying unit i think and the goblin mages put down clouds of poison as one of their spells.

The game is similiar to how warcraft games run, with the individual spells on units.

One other thing I think i remember is that in one of the first few levels you start out as just a knight in the middle of a forest.

Thanks in advance for your help :D

[EDIT]:I just realised the buildings in the game warlord battlecry 3 are so incredibly familiar, but its not that game.
Well check out Tzar: Burden of the Crown and Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, maybe it is some of them.

Okay, so I have been searching for this one game for a while and I can't find it anywhere. I can't find even a search result that sounds close to it. I played this game in elementary school one day about seven or eight years ago and I can't remember much about this game so I am hoping it sounds familiar to someone else before I have to track my computer teacher down. xD

This was an old PC game that was sort of a "bowling" game, I guess; although it was NOT traditional. In the game the player controlled the ball in all of these different environments around obstacles. I remember a Greece/Ancient Temple type thing where I had to steer the ball around the columns until I got to the end of the lane where I tried to knock down the pins. I remember it being in sort of a first person view where I could only see the ball. I also can't rememer how the controls were.

Thanks!!

So I am looking for a game I played in Jr. High during.my off time in World History. It was a PC top down war game. For the first level, you had a limited number of units to attack and eliminate enemies on an island. I can't remember anymore than this, but I remember playing it in 2002 to 2004

Hopefully someone knows what I am talking about, I miss this game.

looking for a game I played in the early 90's on a Mac Classic. the charter was a girl and it took place in a dungeon or labyrinth. I remember you started with nothing and would have to kill Troglodytes and various creatures. you started with nothing but would pick up rocks and sticks and eventually upgrade to guns. you could collect coins which you could spend in vending machines. I remember Kevlar armer being one. there were also slimes that would multiply. It was a top down game. I think it might have had something to do with apocalypse or nuclear plant but not sure.

It's been driving me crazy for years. Anyone remember this?

OK I think it was called Mission Thunderbolt

does anyone know where I could get a copy to run on a Mac os 10.7.5?
Classic Mac games won't run on 10.7, because apple removed the 68K, PPC and classic support. But there is a way if the game is able to run on OS 8.1 or older. You can run Basilisk II, an Open Source 68k Macintosh emulator.

I remember playing a great game but cant recall the name. it is a fantasy/rpg game. at the beggining ther is a cutscene about some raptors or raptor like creatures (blue raptors, but not sure)and suddenly u wake up in a room and that is where the game starts, u wake up in your mother's house and u play as a young guy. u live in a little town and first u have to do missions for the people in the town like bring a ballon for a guy or make chalk marks on the ground for some reason i dont remember and stuff like that, then u have to go to your uncle's house who is not home at first but later he is and he asks u to go down to his basement and kill rats then u fight a rat boss and aftr that aomething happens and u have to leave town and when the night comes your mother helps you escape and u go to another town and you do missions there too like fix leaking steam pipes or go into the local mine and stuff like that. that is all i remember but i'd be glad if someone could identify the game for me!

8-bit. Either master system or NES. It was a clone console. A pirated 4-in-one multicart. The game was sidescrolling platform/action. Kinda gothic art style. It had 3 or maybe 4 different playable characters. One of them was definitely a witch, complete with hat. She was mostly green in color. The gameplay consisted of running over rooftops. And throwing shuriken like weapons at enemies. Closest I can think of, in "feel" is legend of kage. But you could glide for longer in that. I think there was a castle too. And bats. The other games were- Code Name: Viper(Or Dead Fox on the cart), and a game called F.B.I..something. This game was really rather nice looking for an 8-bit game. The character sprite was big. There was a contra-style first-person segment mixed with the usual sidescrolling. And lastly, something that sounds like icarus or ikari. No, it's neither kid icarus nor ikari warriors. This is about all I can remember.

I desperately need help. I have never done one of these post before so here we go.
I play this puzzle game on my dad's win 95/98 I cannot remember of he'd upgraded it by that point. You could see the whole playing field (birds eye view) and the object of the game was to collect gems. The playing field was a grid made up of squares of varying colors and only 2D. The player was some sort of circle or blob that could move from square to square only if the adjacent square was of the same color. You could switch to a different color by moving to a square that was half the color you were just on and half another color. I also remember when you advanced through enough levels there were other blobs (I saw them as bad guys) who would (from my faded memory) take the gems as well as (perhaps) if you touched one you would have to restart the level? I remember calling it bejeweled but that is a totally different game now and I often made up different names for the games I played. Every time I try to describe this game I am always pointed to the games (like the actual bejeweled) where you connect the jewels in 3s or more to collect but that is not what I am looking for at all. The guy the player is has to travel to the jewel to pick it up. I have been trying to find this game for years and have even torn apart the CDs to try to find it now I have my mom on the wild goose chase too.

This game has been bugging me for years but still I can't find it xD

An old pc game probably from 90s if i remember correctly. It's a top down game where you control persons walking around an island. You can pick them up and make them train in a treehouse or a big tree(not sure about this). I remember that the training screen had a person using a swing for units not in training (this had an animation of a dude swinging from a tree branch) and a guy using a boxing bag for people in training (also an animation for this).

In level select you chose from different islands to play on and you unlocked more islands as the game progressed. The units in the game all looked the same, green sweater and a big round nose. The enemies in the game looked the same as you but the had a red sweater instead of a green one.

The sad thing is that i don't remember the objective in the game at all :( I only remember that you played on islands and that you somehow conquered it and progressed to another island. Everything else i remember is fragments in my mind.

I know this is bad information to go on, but if you remember any game similar to this one please tell me! xD

This one will probably not get found for the lack of memory I have of it but I remember enjoying the game so I want to relive that!
So what I do remember is that the main character was a male I know he wore blue it may or may not have been a mechanical body I think it was.
I also remember that you got health out of a vending machine.
It was either on ps1 or early ps2 as it was getting rented from blockbuster between very late 90's to early 2000's
I believe it was ps2 but it may not be as I was always tossing up between that and SOS sorry for late of knowledge but it's all I can remember.
Even with gameplay I just remember running down a mall type thing to get to a boss thing I could never beat.

Hello, I played this game when I got my ps1 when I was a 10 years old and the game was a shoter where you had a crosshair and could swith between 3 diferent kinds of weapons: A fire based weapon, a water/ice weapon and a electric weapon.

It was about two girls that was being transported on capsules and then the "car" exploded for no reason and then they woke up wearing a robotlike costume and had these big cannons on their hands.

On the game you was able to free little fairys that were imprisioned on bubbles and the first boss was a Big bad robot with a big bad axe, we had to kill hium before he gets close enough to cut you down with the axe, but if this happened and you meneged to survive, the boss would die anyways.

Other boss i remember was one centiped on a cave, if you taked too long to kill it, it would fall from a dead end cliff.

Please help me find out what game as that.
