i remember playing a sega game around 1990-1992. you played an animal i think and needed to change into a different animal to be able to advance in the levels. was a kind of adventure game. any ideas?
Not much to go on. Do you remember the viewing angle or anything? Was it actiony like Altered Beast or more platformy like Rolo to the Rescue?
its more like a platform game like rolo. sorry i dont have much more info.
it was like kid chameleon but with creatures or animals and sometimes you would get stuck and you would have to transform into another creature to finish the level.

It's a pretty old game im sure cos I played it like 13 years ago on my old PC. Your a ginger character with dreadlocks I think with a black kind of waistcoat. You start in your apartment and I'm pretty sure your meant to solve puzzles. You climb out your window and go onto one of things window cleaners use and there's a guy there with a big yellow coat on and I think he has a white moustache. That's all I can really remember about it cos I last played it like 13 years ago.

Alright im hoping someone can help me out cause this has been driving me bonkers. first off this was a game i remember seeing my brothers playing way back in the day. I would always stay up late and sneak peeks and there gameplay when i was suppost to be sleeping lol. the first is rather tricky because all i remember from this game is one character who honestly looked like megaman but made of glass? i thought megaman was a nintendo thing and weve never ownd a nintendo in those days. might of been something on sega cd. also the second was a god awful game for ps1 i believe but all i can remember is being able to control a character who i think was dressed in yellow and you went around collecting what looked like blue computer chips or monopoly houses lol...i duno i was young so im sorry if this shit seems crazy i might of made some of this up while trying to recall the memory

Hey guys,
Ive been stuck wondering what this game is, my dad used to play it years ago in the 90's. I think it was for Sega.
It was a birds eye view fantasy game and you controlled a spaceship. I don't know if it was underwater at some points or in space its a bit vague. There was one boss or something that was a huge beetle type thing with pincers, and the only way to kill it and move on was to find and drop an anchor or a bomb on it.
I hope someone can help me figure this out since its been bothering me for years.
THANKS

PS2 game that involved mechs. Some points about it are:
1:Mechs.
2:You could get sponsored by different companies when you became good enough.
3:Fight in an arena against other mechs.
4:Buy "A.I"s that looked liked various animals.
5:100 days of competition then it would reset and went on for another 100 days.
6:There was a plot were in some conversations people would suddenly disappear and they would have found to have been killed.

If anyone knows please help, this game has been stuck in my head for ages and I can't find the name of it.
Also looking for that game, and it's not Gundam Wing. The conversations were Manga-like (the drawings of the characters) and the game involved you aiming with you mech cannon FPS then reverting to 3rd person turn based.
Could be "S.L.A.I.: Steel Lancer Arena International" Not actually sure though cause I bought it just before my laser died so i never actually got to play it :<

Anyone remember this game? Its sort of a mideval strategy game which you had to buy and the gameplay goes like this. You chose a campaign or what not and difficulty, then you spawn in a map with a little castle and you can summom creatures from that castle to fight against enemy castle vsort of a conquering game
Could be
- Age of wonders
-Kings bounty 1 (the oooooollldd one)
-Heroes of might and magic

I had a game I played when I was younger with my cousin, I've been searching for it for awhile, there are 2 actually. The first one was when you'd be able to choose a class, I guess I don't remember much, anyways you could be an ant red or blue it had a gun on it's back which is what would be used to shoot the other player, there were others but I just remember the ant, if you were red you could swim in lava fast, and it wouldn't hurt you, if you were blue then you could swim in water faster, but if you jump in the opposite pools you'd get hurt and die if you don't get out that's all I could remember I loved that game, The second game I believe was on the xbox? I want to say I'm not sure, anyways you were in a big house or haunted mansion idk, it was kinda like a beat'em up game, one of the fights was where you were times while a whole bunch of skeletons attacked you in the billiard room, you could basically use anything as a weapon, you'd grab the billiard table and drag it around in circle knocking out A LOT of them, I tried to use these details to and find the game but I couldn't find it, I think you were a blond dude looking for his little sister, if anyone knows what game this was please tell me thnx :)

I'm looking for a NES or SNES(most likely) game where you play as a kid on a side-scroll-er, I think it took part at in the stone age or something. The interesting thing about the game is that in one part of the game you get eaten by a boss and you then play a level taking place inside of the boss and results in the main character exiting the body of the boss (through either hole :) ). I also remembering there being some kind of "angry"-mode which you could enter where the character change appearance to some devil-like creature and all the attacks change for a period of time.

The names that first popped into my head might help in the search for the game so here they are:
"Stone age kid", "Super stone age kid", "Super stone age guy".
I'm guessing Super Bonk, or Super B.C. Kid as it is known in Europe.
That's the one. Thanks a bunch for your time. Your karma shall be transferred mentally any second now ;)

It's a 90's PC game, 3D shooter. You control a futuristic aircraft i think it was color purple and yellow on the ends. By default you can shoot red lasers and you can upgrade to blue lasers that are faster, there's also an upgrade that lets you fire 4 lasers simultaneously every time you shoot, also there are some batteries (or boxes or something like that) floating around, and when you grab one you get some turbo for your ship.
I think the version i had was only a demo because i only remember playing one level, the ground looked dry with no plants and there were some oceans, i think i remember seeing some pyramid like buildings and tunnels with enemy ships inside

Hi, I'm new in Escapist. I need help. I played
this PC game just about 3 years ago and I've
forgot the name. It's about -- survival island --
kind of game. Many challenges, many rewards,
tasks, etc. All I can recall is there are tasks
like: pick -a number of- berries at a berry tree,
collect crabs, pick some mushrooms, plant
some of vegetables such as potatoes, cabbage,
then fishing, collect gems, clear some worship
statues, enter the cave, cook some delicious
beverages, such as salmon bla bla bla (I can't
remember), tomato sauce, french fries, etc.
Also, there's a level (maybe close to the end of
game) where people in this game build a bar
and they can drink to increase the 'fun' need --
until they drunk. They have these needs:
hunger/hungry, fun, healthy, ......... >_< they
never sleep, as I recall. they just have to relax
by fire around the area. They have some
abilities which more helpful in the proceed
level such as science/scientist, farm/farmer,
fisherman, also, the people have to wash their
clothes in particular time. That's all I can
recall. Please help, I'm stuck searching on
Google.

Ok so this is gonna be very vague and I can only remember one scene. I don't know whether this is for the PS1 or PS2 but I'm pretty sure it was for the PS2. Also I think this was a demo of the game. Anyway the part I remember was that you were on a ship at night and I think it was raining and a sea creature was attacking the ship. You had to jump from port to port (whatever the high places are called on ships where pirates have telescopes and say they found land or something like that lol) to avoid the attacks from the tentacles I believe . I think it was a RPG but I don't know at all. Any guess will do. I will be very very grateful if someone can help me find this game. Also another game I need help finding with but is gonna be even more vague, I remember playing and there was a van/ car stuck between two cliffs and it was snowing and if you got on it, the van/car would fall I think. Lol also props to u if you help me find it, maybe I'll send you a tip on paypal if u help my find them lol

I'd be grateful to anybody who can figure out the answer to my request...

It's a really old game - I remember playing it on Windows 3.11. You play as a scientist who runs around in a 2D platformer, picking up beakers/flasks with various chemicals in them, and mixing them or using them in order to progress through the levels to the exit. I think maybe at one point there was some sort of monster you had to defeat with the chemicals? But I could be wrong. The colours were pretty basic.

All I can remember apart from that is some of the music, but there's no way to write that down here. It was pretty fast paced though? There were only 5 levels in the demo I played.

If anybody has any information on this game (there's 400 pages and searching didn't seem to work, and google wasn't helping either, but did show me this), I would greatly appreciate it.

Greetings.
I'm wondering about a PC game from 2000s i believe.
It's quite foggy in my head but i'll try and remember, so here it goes:

You are driving a car and you have to take (I believe 3) robots from one place to their spots. While driving them in your car you have to look out not to destroy your car by running over a mine (pretty big ones as much as i remember)
The description of robots: One was tall and blue-ish i think, an made music after you'd take him to his spot, other one was grey and would shoot rockets at something when taken to his spot (i don't remember third one)

Played on Windows XP, and i believe that the desktop icon was a bee.

Any way, the car looks like an old timer which i do believe you can customize at will

Hello everybody.
I remember a game which I've played with a friend when I was young. Was on the PC and some sort of adventure like Indiana Jones.
I only remember the part where you are in some sort of cave with a torch and have to walk over a moving rock and go through this cave till you come to some sort of temple (think the name was also something with temple but I'm not sure). It's in ego perspective. Also i remember some kind of giant rats and a monster like a cyclope who throws rocks at you or something like that. Would be awesome if somebody could help me.
Year was between the 90s and the 00s but I don't know if the game was made in this time.
I think it was on windows 95/98/2000/me the old systems.
Try to remember and search for this game in years.
Hopefully someone knows this game.
Thanks in advance.

The game was you were playing a hovercraft/floating tank on a distant planet, and the enemies were the same (just other types named scouts, thunderbirds etc) and you were in a 3rd person view. I really only remember little sadly, that for example the thunderbirds were the big tanks taht were very difficult to kill. I played it on the PC.

Hope you can help.
Do you remember what OS or year at all?

Hey everyone, I've been trying to figure out the name of a game for years, my uncle owned it ( I think it was on the original xbox?) and it might have just been a demo, but I remember it being a 3d, action rpg style game where you start out choosing one of two female characters to play as, one had a sword/melee style attacks and the other had magic/projectile attacks. I remember a lot of forest style scenery throughout the levels and it was mostly side-scrolling / platforming game. I remember it being relatively short, hence the demo thought, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what it was called. Any ideas? Thanks :D
bump plz
anyone?

i'm sure someone posted about this already but I don't wanna sift through the thread looking.
it wasn't that old, probably after 2000. you played as a robot spider mecha type shooting at enemies of a rival army maybe, I remember a level where you were on a ship amongst a fleet but I don't remember if they were allies or not. might have been on the ps2.

oh and there's another game i'm sure was PS2, it's recent but I just can't remember the name. it's fantasy, I don't remember anything about the storyline but I remember the combat. if I recall there were no other people, just you among ruins. the protagonist had the ability so summon monsters and the ones I remember were floating stars that shoot beams from their center.
usually you face a lot of monsters at once. the two bosses I remember was a demonic tree that you had to hit specific parts of to kill, and a gigantic spider in a cave. the only way to hit the spider was to wait for it to lower it's spinneret.
bump :I
bump.
anyone? please?

I'm looking for another game title in addition to the one stated a few pages ago.
A friend of mine said her friend played some sort of game that "I know you'd love, because it reminded me of the Zerg". You go from planet to planet, conquering various species, she says, and evolving along the way.
But you don't get to choose HOW you evolve. It's done automatically, so there's infinite gameplay.
No, it isn't SPORE. Because you don't evolve in that, especially after the space stage. It was something else entirely.
I think it's for PC, but that's all I can assume, since my friend isn't talking to me anymore and also never got an answer from her friend about the game title. I tried googling with no useful results.

Did you first play it through Yahoo? Because it sounds similar to one of the games in the "Virtual Villager" franchise.
