I remember playing a game as a child, just can't remember what it's called. all i really remember about it is that, it was a diabloesque, click to move, and in the beginning of the game, the protagonist helps his mother by getting rid of some pillbug like creatures in the garden, and upon his return he finds that his house has been set on fire and his mother is dead inside. oh and when you attack a chicken, its head is removed and it starts running around spraying blood. does that sound familiar to anyone? i've been looking for this game for years so i can play it again.
Dink Smallwood. Was freeware.
It's out for smartphones now too.

Hello there I have 1 game and I really want to know name because I played it in my childhood.

1) So basically its I dont know 50 mb game, something low. You are a wizard, playing with wasd space and shooting with something. I remember how I was killing some green creatures and I got coins for that which in some point of game you could buy upgrades for your weapon. It had levels like 1,2,3,4 big stages and in 1) stage you had a,b,c... levels where in the end I fought versus some boss, in the first one it was some dragon in water.
what else should I say, oh yeah I think it was some kind of 3d platform where camera was on top.
P.S. I believe it was freeware

Hey folks. This is a long shot, but it's bugging the crap out of me, and I think I can give enough details to get this one.

This is a PC game, released in the Win 9x era on CD-ROM. It's a point and click puzzle game thingie. I didn't get very far into the game when I first played it. Anyway, it had a hint system in-game, and a few of the early puzzles involved a bicycle lock, the use of graphite to get a phone number to distract someone, and there was a hologram of sorts where someone introduced themselves with a name, adding "...virtually." If I recall, phosphorous was also involved in an early puzzle. It's possible that this game involved time travel but I'm not 100% on that. There was also a screamer of sorts, early on, where if you looked out a certain window a guy would jump up in front of it and scream, the first time, but not afterward.

If you know, please let me know.

hello guys, im looking for this game a long time but with no success. ok Ill describe it a lil bit.
I think it was japanese game because of that good known japenese movement and camera view. it was from top view but camera moved depended on player position a lil bit .
you were a member of some special force team and u fought against terrorists i think. I remember first level started when elevator came on some floor in some building .. that building can be skycraper maybe. you just get out of the elevator with your team members. they talked in to some transmitter a few words and then they seperated on 2 groups i think. 1 group was called team 1 and other team 2 but it could be squad 1 or 2 or idk something like that or alpha and beta team..
thats all I remember. I was kid .. and id like to finish this game very badly :D pls if u know what game it could be let me know. thanks .

btw : it was playstation 1 game

movement of your character was similiar to ,,chase the express,, game character.

Looking for this ps1 game I played on a demo disc. The game was a hoverboarding game and looked really cartoonish. I remember in the demo you played as a guy and as you went through the tracks you could pick up these orbs. I can't remember what made you lose the orbs but you could lose them. I remember after the demo is over it played the trailer and their is a girl hoverboarder in this trailer. I played a lot of this demo I want to say it was penguins that made you drop the orbs and the demo level was icy. Thanks.

Hi there.
I have 3 games floating around my head that I would be delighted to know the names of.

1) All I remember is the very beginning of the game. You choose between the male or female soldier/warrior, and proceed to the first area which is just a large hallway of a castle. I can remember it being difficult for me to find the first room I had to go to, because it was such a large hallway and there were doors along it. I believe that it was for Playstation 2.

2) I remember being on a set of spiral stairs, descending actually. There was a little ghost girl in a white dress on the stairs that would attack me, unless I distracted her with a music box and slipped by her. I don't believe it was a Silent Hill game but if there's a particular one that someone thinks it was, I will check it out. I also believe this one was for Playstation 2.

3) The third was a more kiddish game, I think I played as a cat. I can only remember one level where I was down in the sewers. I remember the main character being really witty and funny - closest I've got is Sly Cooper but I'm not absolutely positive this was the game. Also believe this was for Playstation 2.

Thank you so much!
No.2 Might be Echo Night Beyond. Were there any combat or mechanics to the game beyond distraction and evasion of the hostile characters? Was there a heartbeat sensor? Least that makes me think of Echo Night Beyond.

There is a game that I am pretty sure was either Playstation 1 or 2 that was a 3rd person shooter. I dont really remember a lot of details about it but heres what I know for sure.

-3rd person shooter
-You could play with up to for people
-There were like different rooms that were different colors that you could go in to.
-You would use the left analog to move and the right one to aim and shoot
-Some of the doors were locked and had red buttons on them and when they would unlock they would turn green
-It looked like an arcade over-head shooter

It reminded me kind of like alien breed but I need help on trying to figure out what this game is called cause i havent figured it out yet and i have been searching for years please help!

I'm looking for the name of an old PSX game. It's been so long that I don't remember much about it, but I do recall that you begin the game on a plane or airship of some sort piloting a mech, then you end up crashing or jumping off or something and fighting someone else with a mech in a forested area on the surface in a battle you can't actually lose. It was an RPG I'm pretty sure, and for some reason I think it may have had multiple characters and/or scenarios you could play. My memory is so foggy that I can't really remember anything else about it.
Its name is alundra 2.

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a PC game that I had back in the late 90s, maybe early 2000s, it was a top-down style game where you started with a ship with some currencies and goods I believe. You then had to find an island to settle on and establish a colony. You could raise an army and attack other colonies. You could also trade with other colonies. You had to manage your colony though, like upgrade homes, put out fires, grow crops I think, etc.

I know sometimes pirates would like dock at your colony and attack you.

I can't for the life of me remember the name of this game!

Ehi guys. Signed up to ask this thing to you, hope you can help.

I want to know the name of a game. I used to play it 10 years ago or so on XP. I don't think is older than 2000, though. It was basically an adventure-action game with birdseye visual. All I remember is that it began with you and another guy stuck on an arctic zone. After a bit, a submarine would save you. The next level is completely set in this submarine. Can't remember what you had to do there, though. The next level is set in a desert. You have a party and you go around shooting people. Again, can't remember the aim of the game. But that is that. Any ideas?

I, like many others it seems, was searching for an old game and it led me here. So i'll get to it...

I played an older PC game on my IBM 286 running Windows 3.1, pretty sure it was a DOS game.
It was a top-down space shooter that seemed to have free roaming as in I don't remember running into any boundaries or borders. Played kind of like an RPG, kill guys, get better weapons, kill bigger guys. The interesting part about the game was how you could randomly run into juggernaut like enemies that had weird names and seemed impossible to kill. This made me beef my ship up so i could eventually take them out.

Turns out that these weird names (i was in 5th or 6th grade) were .dll files and system32 files. The game used your computers file system as the source for its enemies. The bigger or more important the file, the tougher the enemy. So once you killed an "enemy" that file was deleted. Enjoyed the game until my computer crashed, and couldn't figure out why. Dad was nice enough to reload it for me and a few days later the same thing happened. We figured out what happened the next time around and I never saw the game again.

Was wondering if anyone on here would remember...

Thanks for your time.

Im thinking of this very old pc game I played a lot.
You played as a yellow dog (Im pretty sure it was a dog...) and it had roller skates on and you moved by roller skating.
First area in the game was a small pond with an octopus in it and you would skate on top of the water and enter a cave to proceed.
There were different stages, i remember a water, desert and snowy stage.
In the stages there were small buildings you could enter.
It was a children game, very colorful and cartoony graphics.
Top down-ish view.
Sadly i cant remeber the objective of the game but might have been collecting coins.

Pls help! Let me know even if you dont know the name of the game but you recognize it and have more details.

hi guys so I have been trying to figure out what this game was forever and cant remember what it is. So when I was a kid we had a NES game that was a top down game I believe that you had the option of picking a wizard, warrior and possibly another character. You had to get a certain number of keys I think to progress and you also picked up bottles of magic or health i believe. There were also like warp tiles that transported you to other worlds and If i remember correctly there was a voice that would say stuff when you picked it up or something. If anyone could help me would really appreciate it.

Both of the games I am going to talk about are Windows 98 or 95 games. But they are the 3D and not arcade. And they were both just demos.

The first one I remember at the menu you started with a large entrance of some kind. It looked spooky and was made of brick. You could choose a male or a female character and when you entered it like a graveyard I think? It was linear and straight - forward, there was one way through, no side tracks. I remember the health (or I think it was) that could pick up were literally realistic looking hearts with veins sticking out. Looked more like straws though. There were a few enemies you battled along the way.

I barely remember the second one, but I have a feeling they both came on the same disc (a demo disc), if that helps. I think it was a castle you ran about in. The enemies are so vague in my head, god, and I remember then as you progressed you ended up in a mine type place. Sorry I know that isn't the best description, but even if you could list games you know like that I can google them.

We are talking more than 10 years ago. I played them 10 years ago when my dad gave me the disc but he got it years before that. PS1 generation (I played on PC though, but just that time frame).

Ok heres a challenge

this one I played on windows 95/98

It was an educational game, I think encyclopedia might have been in the title

it was one where you would go to different parts of the world and click on things

anyway your guide or main charachter was essentially a space frog, he wore a bubble like space helmet and had a lily pad shaped flying platform which was like a space segway (that could fly)

you could also go to his space ship, theres one thign I remeber where there was a song about the planets that went "Mercury now is the one...closest to the shining sun!" thats all I can remember from the song

now figure that one out

DUDE, I'M LOOKING FOR THAT GAME RIGHT NOW! Let me see if I can help you. The frog's name was Tad. At the beginning, he always said, "You can call me Tad."
You went to different habitats to see different animals. Like the farm had a pig and a cat. There was also the arctic as one of the habitats. I hope I figure it out soon! Oh, the song went like this:
Mercury now is the one closest to the shining sun. Venus, Earth, and then comes Mars, orbiting that burning star.... something about Jupiter and Saturn that I don't remember... Uranus is blue and green, it's COLD and minus 553 degrees! Neptune is the blue-ish one, it's atmosphere is hydrogen!.. and then something about Pluto.
Good luck!
I think your looking for a game called Explorapedia I searched it up with the song lyrics
