Ok heres a challenge

this one I played on windows 95/98

It was an educational game, I think encyclopedia might have been in the title

it was one where you would go to different parts of the world and click on things

anyway your guide or main charachter was essentially a space frog, he wore a bubble like space helmet and had a lily pad shaped flying platform which was like a space segway (that could fly)

you could also go to his space ship, theres one thign I remeber where there was a song about the planets that went "Mercury now is the one...closest to the shining sun!" thats all I can remember from the song

now figure that one out

DUDE, I'M LOOKING FOR THAT GAME RIGHT NOW! Let me see if I can help you. The frog's name was Tad. At the beginning, he always said, "You can call me Tad."
You went to different habitats to see different animals. Like the farm had a pig and a cat. There was also the arctic as one of the habitats. I hope I figure it out soon! Oh, the song went like this:
Mercury now is the one closest to the shining sun. Venus, Earth, and then comes Mars, orbiting that burning star.... something about Jupiter and Saturn that I don't remember... Uranus is blue and green, it's COLD and minus 553 degrees! Neptune is the blue-ish one, it's atmosphere is hydrogen!.. and then something about Pluto.
Good luck!
I think your looking for a game called Explorapedia I searched it up with the song lyrics

Ok guys, I'm posting here because I have near perfect recollection of every game that I've played as a kid....except one. Perhaps it was because I just saw my dad play it. I never got to experience it for myself, but I was exposed to parts of the story that have stuck with me.

Here's what I remember: I think the game is an adventure puzzle type. It had live-action cinema for some of the cut screens. In the story, you are being told by your organization that you're (I think) terraforming a world for colonization, but it is infested with I think bugs, or ant-like aliens. You are told the environment contains sulfuric acid and so you must keep your helmet on. Your helmet has a kind of overlay that helps you navigate. Anyway, you either become injured or incapacitated and you're also told they will euthanize you if this happens, that it is 'merciful", so you won't suffer. The big reveal is that you do become incapacitated, but before they can euthanize you, your helmet is pulled off and it's revealed that the planet is beautiful, with blue skies and trees, and the aliens you thought you were killing were actually harmless, innocent people. The military was using you to clear cut the planet of it's inhabited for colonization.

The only other thing that I can remember is there seemed to be a lot of decision making and at least one cut screen where you have two people arguing over whom you should believe and what action you should take.

Whatever this game is, if it sounds familiar, let me know! I'm dying to find it and play it!

A while ago i was playing a PS1 game and all i recall about it is that it was a 3D adventure game set in the future but it had this kind of VR chamber that you could go into to play an older RPG game within it... i didn't play it very long so i don't remember much else. I would really like to find it again please help

Sorry if this has already been figured out.

There was a PC game back in the mid-late 90's, which I remember being part-shareware and coming on like a pc gamer demo disc (or a similar magasine).

I played it on either Windows 95 or Windows 98.

You were a spaceship which you saw from a side on perspective, and controlled it with an asteroids-style control scheme. It was always affected by gravity.

Instead of exploring space, you primarily explored planets and underground in planets, I think there might have been a fuel gauge as well.

The main part of the game was exploration (in stages) and solving puzzles.

It looked kindof like 2.5D

I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere!

*double bump*

There's a game I've been looking for almost about 6 years. It's a 2D Japanese RPG game.

The game was on PC only. From beginning I remember there was a scene and it showed a protagonist going to to this person who had a beard and a purple bandana on his head. I don't remember what they were saying (it was in text) and in the next scene it showed some kind of machinery going somewhere near the forest. Then the game started and I was able to control my character. There was wagons around and then there was a campfire. Loads of characters were around it. I was chatting to them but, they didn't say anything useful.

Then there was this floating crystal bit far away from the campfire but I wasn't able to go to it because something was blocking my way. Then there was a forest place. I went there and nothing was there, just the character I controlled. I walked around the forest and then battle commenced. It was a fight with hornets. I killed them off and walked around the forest more to kill some hornets. I went back to chat with the characters around the campfire.

Then there was this girl that was chatting a bit longer yet again I don't remember what the characters said. So she went to that crystal and did something so I was able to get to the crystal. The crystal allowed to save my game. Then I went back to the forest and there was a boss battle with a lot of hornets and the boss looked like a bear as far as I remember. When I won, I went to the camp leader. When I went to chat to the camp leader, the screen went black and white. Then there was a menu of 4 characters I was able to choose from.

The same character, the bearded guy with purple bandana, a girl and a another girl. When I chose the same character, I remember that there was a character that looked like a slime. Also when choosing the same character, throughout the story you had to fight with a knight. The first battle you would lose and drop your sword and then 2nd battle with him you would win.

When I defeated the knight then there was a scene of my character going somewhere with 2 of the girls. Then I was in middle of nowhere and I found some caves that I was able to go inside. There was holes and when I entered them then a battle commenced with a big spider. Those I couldn't defeat at all. There was only one hole in the cave which lead you somwhere else deeper in the cave. When I did that then I found a chest that was locked. Then I got lost in the cave and didn't know where else to go.

Ok, So I have two games that I've been trying to figure out the names of, been on many forums and no one seems to know.

1: For N64. It's a game like Twisted Metal, vehicular arena combat, but they aren't cares. They are spaceships and 2 mechs that you can choose from. The ships all have different shapes and sizes and speeds. You fly around levels each usually a different planet and try to blow one another up like Twisted Metal.

2: Is a game for Sega Genesis. I don't remember too much but it's a platformer and I remember it being really fun. One thing I remember most is a level that was completely metal, probably a lab or some kind of enemies base. At the bottom was electricity so if you would fall you'd die. But when you did fall you would get electrocuted and you could see the bones for a few seconds. Many had said it was Earth Worm Jim but when I watched a video it doesn't look anything like it at all.

All I remember about the game was that there was a monkey with a jetpack (I think) it was a fighting game with what my mind remembers to be, collectible weapons around the stages that you would use against your opponents. The monkey had really overexaggerated lips. There were other weird characters but my memory is failing me. It was a PS1 game as far as I can remember.

Hello all! I am looking for 2 games.
1st is on PS1 and you're playing a skeleton with a longsword and you're walking around and solving puzzles and riddles and you collect some colorful keys which are pretty big and are big rectangular rocks. All I remember from the game was a graveyard and a red key which opens a door.
2nd is on PC and the character you play is a female with, what I recall, yellow suit and red/brown hair. She is fighting ninjas. I've played the demo back in the days and you'd start at a village and ninjas jumping from the roofs. Kinda stealthy game too. Shurikens and katanas also a crossbow.

hi guys so I have been trying to figure out what this game was forever and cant remember what it is. So when I was a kid we had a NES game that was a top down game I believe that you had the option of picking a wizard, warrior and possibly another character. You had to get a certain number of keys I think to progress and you also picked up bottles of magic or health i believe. There were also like warp tiles that transported you to other worlds and If i remember correctly there was a voice that would say stuff when you picked it up or something. If anyone could help me would really appreciate it.
Sounds like Gauntlet to me.
your right thanks so much it was Gauntlet 2

Hello i am looking for 3 pc games
the first one is an old war plane game i think i got it from a floppy disk i think it was on win 95 but i don't remember much from the game itself other than if you pressed "escape" the pilot would jump out and you could just see the plane fall down while parachuting down

the second was an isomorphic rpg from what i remember and you stated in a small village where there that you could punch and then they would just run around without a head until you would hit them again other than that i don't remember much

the last one is an ww2 rts i played the demo of, but instead of building you started with some men and tanks and then you could call in airstrikes and parachute troops and i remember that you started the demo by going over a bridge that was possible to destroy

Hi all! My siblings and I are trying to find a game we remember playing when we were little. We had it on a pink cd-rom with about 500 other games. I think we got the cd-rom around 2000. The game itself involved flying around in a space ship and shooting floating asteroids to collect various minerals. Other spaceships of all shapes and sizes could attempt to steal your minerals and you had to fight them off. You docked at various planets to rl and unload your minerals. You wr the minerals you brought back and could repair your ship and buy new guns and equipment for your ship with that money. We would appreciate any and all suggestions! Thanks!
