can anyone refer back to my post on page 411 to see if any of the 4 listed games or even the disk is/are known? thanks for your time.
The second game could be Walls of Rome instead of Roads of Rome

three games:

1. older game, before playstation I believe. You controlled a small squad of soldiers at a time (like between 2-5) and would switch between them to give commands while fighting against another squad. It was always red-vs blue, and pretty sure it was 2 player. There were riflemen, a grenadier, medic, flamethrower, etc. It was stylized to be a bit cartoonish, but somwhat violent too. I think soldiers killed by the flamethrower would turn to black ash, things like that.

2. Game for the original Playstation, scrolling spaceship shooter sort of thing, but the screen scrolled kind of diagonally, instead of strictly horizontally or vertically. I'm certain the title started with a V... (or some letter at the end of the alphabet!). There were power-ups of various colors, weird alien things to shoot, hmm. The "V_______" thing is probably the best clue I have...

3. nevermind, literally just remembered the third one I was going to ask about. On that note, did anyone ever play "Machine Hunter" for the playstation?

I'm been looking for a game for some years. It was a PS1 mech racing game. I don't remember much about it since it was my cousin's. The characters were anime and they had their own mech thing and something I do remember in gameplay was you could hit a button and the mech would swing an 'arm' to a side.

Sorry for little info.

hey guys i can't remember the name of a game i used to play, it was either on the PS1 or PS2. some details i remember of it was that it was about a super hero (not famous like superman, spiderman, etc.), he had slick black hair and he was buff. he was trying to stop someone evil and i remember that u had to walk through like a path and it was in i think outer space. i know the details are very vague but if any one has any idea of what this game may be please help lol.
That sounds like it could possibly be Blasto.

I have bits of memory of this old play station 1 fighting game, so sorry if i cant be any more clearer.
there were 2 discs, one was the demo ( had many other games in it, but i remember they had this game in the demo ) the 2nd was the real game, in the demo you get to only play as this Asian girl or some Jamaican dude to fight, and in the real game, i remember there was this dude made out of wood that copies the other opponents moves (there was many more characters but i dont remember them all).

Hi all hopefully someone can help me out.

Ok it was a PC game I'm not sure when it came out but I played it around 2000-2006. I have looked for ages for the game but couldn't find it, it is a rts game with dated graphics, similar to Warcraft 3 but less 3D if that makes sense. It was real-time no turn based.

From looking through images some of the buildings from Warcraft 3 look similar but that may just be me mixing some things up.

Ok so basically you had a level set out with chests and loads of different monsters, one thing that stood out was that there was a level editor and you could put down different tiers of the same monster, they would be different in colour to show tier.

It was an rts and you were able to build mages who could cast spells and build units with different abilities. The goblin could get a flying unit i think and the goblin mages put down clouds of poison as one of their spells.

The game is similiar to how warcraft games run, with the individual spells on units.

One other thing I think i remember is that in one of the first few levels you start out as just a knight in the middle of a forest.

Thanks in advance for your help :D

[EDIT]:I just realised the buildings in the game warlord battlecry 3 are so incredibly familiar, but its not that game.
Well check out Tzar: Burden of the Crown and Total Annihilation: Kingdoms, maybe it is some of them.
No its neither of them sadly, its definitely fantasy age with medieval weaponry but with magic similar to warlords battlecry 3 or warcraft 3. Thank you very much for the help though :D

Any more help would be greatly appreciated!

i have four old games and an old gaming disc i don't remember the names of:

The first game was on floppy disk and all i can remember of it was that u played as a aligator/dino character that used 2 legs. the goal was to get to the platform by jumping and swinging on the rope the background from memory was black with white octagon platforms i never managed to play past the first level so description is a bit lacking for it.

The second game was a breakout ball game aka the games with paddles and balls that break bricks, the game had a similar idea to pong with paddles on the side of the screen but in the center of the screen was bricks made of metal and glass that had the sound effects for each when broken. the goal i believe was to remove all the bricks to advance. the game had amazing backgrounds but i remember only that the balls had tails that were ripple effects. each side could have a ball and there was a red and green side if the ball from the red paddle hit the green paddle it would become green to match and the power ups were things such as magnet ball and bomb ball ect. when the ball was missed instead of going off screen it would hit spikes that would kill the paddles and the ball would bounce back. there was an hour glass symbol on its side at top center of screen that showed which side had more points or bricks destroyed.

The third game i believe was called roads of rome however a search of that finds a flash game, the game was similar to simcity in which u build things but it was zoomed in more to see the characters as they go about their time. it was set in the roman type period with building and transportation being roman style u had to build roads and buildings and even aquaducts i believe and the characters would build camps and stuff then those would advance like simcity does. i believe it was hidden or secret game hidden on a disk that has different game on it it is an old game as i used to play it in the early 2000s and i think it is on one of the discs i have somewhere but its hidden and only shows up as a name and image and i dont have on computer anymore was very good game.

the fourth game was just a simple puzzle game the goal was to get to a target that was on a path that was blocked in some way or was in a large crowd of block/boulder type things it played kid songs like yankey doodle and others, dont remember much else about it.

Finally the gaming disk i want to know about was from Egames the whole disk had a bunch of games on it such as one called moon buggy in which u traveled over different planets and had to jump lava spikes pits ect. and shoot robots with missiles and stuff. all i remember of the disc was that it said Egames on it i believe the ball game mentioned before was actually a part of that disc i've found a disc named egames collectors or something but that doesn't seem to be it and even egames themselves don't have moon buggy listed on their site. Any help on any of these is appreciated hightly.
#1- No idea

#2- Arkanoid or any of the clones

#3- CivCity Rome maybe

#4- Boulderdash?

#5- There have been TONS of compilation discs for the PC. Good luck finding it.
i've checked arkanoid before as i've searched for the game and i believe arkanoid came after the game i'm thinking of, i do believe that Egames made it but searching in a list of all their games from the time i haven't managed to find it. as for civcity rome that actually seems right from what i remember so thanks for finding that one and for helping with the others. boulder dash is actually similar to the one i was thinking but i believe mine was more child oriented as was basically just fairly simple block moving puzzles one level i do remember is that you are in a square level and it was just completely filled with the blocks but had one space between them to allow movement of the blocks and the goal was in the top left corner. and that disc is a pain to find thanks for the help again. i'm going to keep working on it. I found the ball game or at least an alternative name of it its called booym apparently. yay

I remember playing a game as a child, just can't remember what it's called. all i really remember about it is that, it was a diabloesque, click to move, and in the beginning of the game, the protagonist helps his mother by getting rid of some pillbug like creatures in the garden, and upon his return he finds that his house has been set on fire and his mother is dead inside. oh and when you attack a chicken, its head is removed and it starts running around spraying blood. does that sound familiar to anyone? i've been looking for this game for years so i can play it again.

this was probably when a game during 2004-2007 ish i don't remember but I played it when I was younger. it was a game where you were a ball. and I remember if you waited long enough (like just left the computer still and didn't move) the ball had eyes XD this was a PC game btw. anyways, there were three different like stages that had a bunch of levels. it was like an obstacle course. the stages were colors; they were like blue purple and orange I think. and I feel like the course was like floating so you couldn't go off the sides and if you did you had to restart. there were things in the levels that could kill you but idk I don't remember much but I wish I could. it was actually really fun and I wish I new the name of it so could someone help?!:0

Y'all, I need help! I'm trying to remember the name of this old pc game I played maybe ten/eleven years ago. It was a kid's game. I remember a basement and it was like magician's crap and there was a top hat in there and when you clicked on it, a bunny popped out, and if you kept clicking on it, more and more bunnies popped all over the room. And there was a mini game where it was similar to sudoku, I think they were like corks with different faces/colours. If you didnt get it right and submitted it, the things would fight.
PLEEEEEEASE. It is driving me crazy!

This game is driving me nuts >_< Been searching for hours now without finding any clue about this game.

Going to list some things that i remember from the game and hopefully someone will find something they remember about this unusual game.

1. You control humans on an island.
2. Top down view.
3. All units looked the same (can't remember if they changed as the game progressed) green sweaters, bald head and a big round nose.
4. On some levels you were fighting against red units that looked the same as you but had a red sweaters instead of green ones.
5. I remember a level select screen where you chose what island to play on, some were grayed out and was unlocked after beating previous island.
6. The game had an intro that showed one of the villages in 3d (looked quite similar to the guy in theme hospital that is holding the chainsaw but without the hair)
7. I think you had a big tree(or treehouse) as base where you could train your villages to be more aggressive or calm. This had an animation for each class you put your villages in.
8. The cd for the game had one of the villages face on the cover.
9. I vaguely remember that you morphed your villages in to traps and other things to make the game progress (this is very blurry in my mind. I might have mixed it up with another game).

Thats about all i can recall about this game. Sadly i can't remember anything about what the objective for that game is, but it has something to do with conquering an island.
If someone remembers this game or anything about it i will burst with joy and be in your debt forever :)

Hi there.
I have 3 games floating around my head that I would be delighted to know the names of.

1) All I remember is the very beginning of the game. You choose between the male or female soldier/warrior, and proceed to the first area which is just a large hallway of a castle. I can remember it being difficult for me to find the first room I had to go to, because it was such a large hallway and there were doors along it. I believe that it was for Playstation 2.

2) I remember being on a set of spiral stairs, descending actually. There was a little ghost girl in a white dress on the stairs that would attack me, unless I distracted her with a music box and slipped by her. I don't believe it was a Silent Hill game but if there's a particular one that someone thinks it was, I will check it out. I also believe this one was for Playstation 2.

3) The third was a more kiddish game, I think I played as a cat. I can only remember one level where I was down in the sewers. I remember the main character being really witty and funny - closest I've got is Sly Cooper but I'm not absolutely positive this was the game. Also believe this was for Playstation 2.

Thank you so much!

Ive been trying to remember this game for ages now hopefully you can help me.
basically what i remember from this pc game is that you start off in the bad guys army and the leader has this massive ancient sword and your trying to find a piece of the ancient shield that the good guy's can use to oppose the bad guy with. and they find out that you are the decedent of the guy who originally held the shield or something like that and try to kill you then you go on a quest to find the rest of the shield. so yeah any help on this would be awesome.
