Hi guys hopefully someone can help me with this.

Years ago I must have been about 11-13 i remember playing a demo of a game which involved researching and building a big robot along with an army and fighting against the computer teams.
The robots of the opposition would sometimes drop an arm or something which could be collected and replace one of your robots arms.

I think the game logo was a bit like an "A" shape, all metal coloured and potentially a crack through it but that's all I can remember.

Can anyone help me out!

Thanks

Unfortunately no it doesn't look like that, the only other thing I can remember is it was quite a dark map on the game.

Sorry if this one has been figured out already & I also apologize for a lack of details.

The game I remember was for PC, it was an RPG, maybe a JRPG but was translated if so.

I remember the view being from a "diablo like" point of view, turn based combat, and a kind of cyber-punk setting.

You made your selection during turn based combat using the mouse & not the keyboard if that is helpful. I had it some time prior to 2005.

I think I got the game out of a bargain bin & haven't seen it other than that. It was a great game from what I remember & didn't get a chance to finish it.

Thanks.
was it with a chick that had blue long hair and it had an anime style?
YES YES!! Please, what was it called?

Hey guys, I hope you can finally release me from my pain.

I am looking for an old PC adventure-type/point and click game. I have no idea what it was about and only played a small part of it since it had pretty difficult puzzles I couldn't solve as a kid. All I remember is a section in which you play as a male character, alone, and are exploring some kind of ancient ruins, I dont think there were any people to interact with, it was overgrown and basically just stone, it might have been in the sky too, not sure anymore though. You had to unlock a stone door at some point by ( this might be completely made up by my memory) swapping around stone plates or something.

I played it in the late 90's together with Kings Quest 6 so the release dates can't be too far apart.

Hello, world!

I'm looking for a name of an old RPG PC game from roughly 1998-2002. Its camera view was like in Diablo. The following are the features I remember now.

1. You start with a quest to sneak into a walled town (castle) nearby.

2. Your first enemies are snakes.

3. Another common kind of enemy NPCs are goblins, some with ballistas. They can shoot!

4. There is a TP circle in some points, usually town centres.

5. There is a quest on some island later on. Maybe, something involving night or moon.

6. One of the rewards for a quest far later in the story is a spell called "Cataclysm".

7. I believe, there are magic scrolls similar to those in NWN but I'm not entirely sure if I don't confuse.

8. You can summon familiars. But not from the start.

I hope for you help to identify this game. Any titles would be appreciated as there are some games that I could recall far worse. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys,

would have turned to this site much sooner if only I'd known about it.

Anyway, I remember playing this game as a kid (mid 90's, maybe?) - it was a demo so I only had access to one level, but it was a 3D game where you flew a kind of a ship, had to search for survivors and rescue them (by "teleporting" them into your ship and subsequently out of the ship into some other facility) while defending the survivors and yourself from giant insects (ants (?), wasps) and arachnids. I think you could shoot them with...umm...lasers? The level was like a small planet, ergo, I think there were no physical limits, rather, you would just fly around the said planet in a relatively short time.

I might be mistaken about some of the above, in which case I'm sorry - I was but a kid, it was a long time ago and I didn't get the chance to play the game nearly as much as I would have liked to.

Appreciate the help :)

I have one game I would like to know about, It is an arcade game. It has 3d graphics, it is of the fighting genre, the characters you choose from however are not the usual karate masters or ninjas, they are robots (or mechas)with different abilities, weapons and their own strengths and weaknesses. Just like in other fighting games you would fight one on one with an opponent and once you defeat the opponent you would move on to the next level.

The arcade machine itself was pretty big, it has two seats, two screens, and two sets of controls. The controls from what I remember their are two joysticks both are used to control your characters movement in different ways but only the right joystick has the trigger that fires weapons or attacks, One of the special control movements I remember is jumping which involves moving one of the control sticks forward and the other backwards at the same time.

One of the characters I remember is a robot that is colored white (this is his sort of "first player color" his second player color I do not remember however if you do not choose him as your character he will still be white when you fight him (he happens to be the first robot you fight if I remember correctly)) he is one of the faster moving characters, his weapon is a lance/laser gun which he even holds out in front as if it were a lance while he is running, He will also use his weapon as a sword at close range and a rifle for long range combat.

Another character I remember is (how can I explain this correctly) I remember both the first and second player colors of this particular robot but I don't remember if the green was the first color or if the brown was the first color. anyway this character is not as streamlined (or not as skinny) as the first character, he is a bit bigger, if I remember correctly he moves around either by hovering or on big wheels (I am pretty Shure it is by hovering) has what appear to be missile launchers on his shoulders (but they shoot barrages of fireballs instead), and he attacks enemies at close range with a flail mace.

Their are different 3d arena's of combat, some with water in the, some with large stones, others with lava if I remember, some arenas more round while others were rectangular. Another thing I remember is that some of these arenas were sort of designed to fit the opponent you are facing. for example one of the opponents has the ability to fly (I did not explain her because I don't remember much her about besides the fact that she can fly) the arena is created so the character is standing on a place where she can take off, and has enough space in the air to stay in flight. If anyone can tell what this game is or can post any images/videos I would be very great full.
Could be Rise of the Robots

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_of_the_Robots

of part too Rise 2: Resurrection

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rise_2:_Resurrection
I already found out what game I was looking for, it is called Virtual On Cyber Troopers

I remember this one game for the PC fondly, you were some kids in Egypt and had to solve puzzles to find special treasures. Or something like that. I just remember being in Egypt, Ancient Egypt I think, and solving puzzles. If anyone remembers the name of the game, or one they think it might be you should totally tell me :p

So this was racking my brain but I finally figured it out : Cluefinders puzzle of the pyramid or something like that. The 4thgrade level one. I used to love this game

The resources remind me of "Warbreeds" but this is quite a shot in the dark. You genetically designed your own troops and your ressources were gathered by refineries from different kinds of plants that grew on some blueish stuff. The game is from 98.

Maybe "Nox"? It would fit time wise and was pretty much Diablo-like. It got a pretty special line-of-sight/lighting system too.

I am so happy I found this thread because I have spent way too much time looking for a game for my boyfriend so hopefully you can help.

It was a Sega Genesis driving/racing game, and it was played from the first person perspective (not top-down) so it looked like you were behind the wheel. It had a two player mode with split-screen view when two people were playing. The tracks swerved around and there were railings on the sides so you would just hit them and stay on the track instead of falling off the road (unlike Mario Kart). Also, there was one track that was like being on the surface of a pool table (but not actually a pool table) because it looked like you were driving on green felt. Oh, and this is probably completely irrelevant but the second track you drove on had a song playing that sounded vaguely like a song by the Cars (but he doesn't remember which song).

I know that this isn't a ton of information and I apologize for how vague it is, but if anyone thinks they know which game this is or can point me in the right direction, PLEASE let me know. Also, he's almost positive it was a Sega Genesis game, but if this sounds like the description of a game on another cartridge-based console from that era that isn't Nintendo (he knows it wasn't a Nintendo game), let me know. Thanks so much for your help!

(It's not Fable)I played this game on my PC. I bealive the game starts inside of the house, where there's main character and his mother. His steps were loud. I think he had like a cape or something like that on his back. The house is in some village you can talk to people and do things for them. There was a woman in the village holding a bucket of apples or flowers. I remember that i wasn't allowed to leave the village so I had to sneak by the guard and there was like a cutscene for that. Then I play in some different village. I think it's played from the birds view.

There is this game I used to play, it was about a building where a few thugs hid a bomb/s. You began in the garage of the building and worked yourself up. If I remember correctly one of the first levels had some kind of a hospital environment. The weapons are modern and the safe location is like a silver "box" attacthed to the wall. The game is on PS1.

When I was little, I was playing a computer game that now I do not remember how is called and I'm looking to find the game title. The game was a guy with blue hair that had several missions in many places, such as in the snow with icebergs around. Also on another mission was to an exotic place that fighting pirates used swords to defeat the pirates, who were his enemies. The game was adventure! If anyone knows the title of this game, please answer me. :)
