Hey guys!
I hope someone here can help me out.
I only played this game as a Demo (I think it was a demo CD from a magazin).

The game(demo):
- Real time strategy
- 1 Alien-class and 1 Robot (Human class). You could play both classes.
- overview view like in Warcraft3 and starcraft
- You where playing on a different planet, almost like the moon.
- I think you got resources by command a unit to stand over a little yellow hole in the ground.
- The alien 'tank-unit' looks like a snail or a disformed penis that shoots testicles. At least thats how I remeber it (played it as a kid).
- I think i played it in 2000-2005 (it could be older). Played it in windows 98
- I think the graphics was like diablo 2 (kinda).

Thanks!

Awesome thread!!! I have one that's been bugging me for years! It was a first person shooter if I recall correctly, I remember the enemies, some of them were smileys with guns, others were purple fluffy monsters. The setting seemed to me like a school, it had lockers on the walls, and such. It was a casual game, seemed pretty underground to me. I remember the time in which I played it, was the same as when I played Doom II, say maybe.. 1998. It reminds me a lot of the Windows 3D maze screensaver. Hope you can help me!!!

I posted on this site trice but no one found out the game name for me, So I am hoping new faces have come who have seen this game before, So here is goes:

The game is old 95' or 98 could be older, It was part of a Demo disc I remembered as I only had a few levels, Maybe Magic the card game was on it I think!

So the AI and yourself are Aliens, no humans. THe resource type is like in a pond and flower type thing grows.

One the aliens I recall are like a squarish thing with a saw blade on it's head.

Anyone?

I have been trying to remember this game for ever, can anyone help me?

-It was a PlayStation 2 game if I recall correctly.

-It was a pretty linear adventure game from what I remember (level to level).

-The story involved a large bird like creature.

-Can't remember the playable character, not sure if it was a human, animal or made up species.

-I also remember having to destroy these large grey eggs (that look a lot like regular seagull eggs in this day and age just bigger). I'm guessing these were lay'd by that giant bird we are pursuing.

-Sadly I can't remember what the purpose for the giant eggs were although I remember them bouncing as if they had a live creature trying to push itself out from inside the egg.

-Final boss battle is the fight with this giant bird like creature I think.

My doubts: For some reason I can't confirm for sure if the eggs were collected or destroyed but I'm 80% sure it was destroyed.

Thanks for any help :)

Dark Colony is a PC real time strategy game. Has nothing in common with what I described unfortunately. Thanks for trying though :)

We had this game on the library computer in my primary school (England), it definitely ran on either Windows 95 or 98.
A key thing I remember was that it had a bunch of 'feelies' with it, including 'suspect' cards and some kind of underground tube map.
As you navigated the game, the screen would show an low resolution image (photo) of a view of a road, or building, usually with a road sign in. I can't remember if the place names were real ones or not, but the photographs definitely were.
You would use the maps included to track down the people you had on your cards to ask them questions which i think might have mentioned characteristics which would eliminate other character on the suspect cards.
I believe part of the point of the game was to teach you how to use maps. Unfortunately I can't remember the story line, why I was tracking down these people, or anything about the title of the game!
Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks!

Hi all,
I'm trying to find a game I played on my nanna's computer when I was a kid. I don't really know much about it but I know this: It was a point and click (I think) and you had to solve puzzles like finding the key to unlock the door and stuff like that, much like a lot of the 'Escape' games (although it could have been very different. I just remember looking for a key or another way to get through the door). I don't know when I played it but I remember some other games I played on her computer around the same time. They were 'SkiFree' and 'Jazz Jackrabbit 2' (although that one might have been later). Also, for some reason I think of 'Paul's House' or 'Pete's House' or something like that whenever I think of it (possibly the title or maybe some important piece of in-game info?) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Alright this one's been bugging me for like a year now, so glad I found this thread. PC game from the 2003-2005 timeframe if I remember correctly. It was a fairly generic sci-fi shooter, but you could get in tons of different vehicles. I distinctly remember they had dropships, jets, APCs, all sorts of stuff. In multiplayer you were able to seamlessly transition from ground up into space and have some type of space dogfighting. I stuck an APC inside of a dropship, flew it up into orbit, got into the back of the dropship, manned the APC, and ejected and rode it all the way back down to the ground. It was amazing and I would love to screw around in that game again, if only I could remember the damned name. I don't think it was very popular even at the time, fairly low-budget and super buggy. But still fun as hell.
Havn't really played it so could be way off but Battlefield 2142? ( http://www.giantbomb.com/battlefield-2142/3030-17828/images/ )
Nope! Thanks for giving it a shot, though.
I think the game you're looking for is Breed it has all the features you mentioned

I hope you can help me with this one
It was a PC game
Dated early 2000's
There was a 3rd person view
You play as a car that can transform (I definitely can remember a big wheels mode and a flying helicopter-dropship-something)
I can remember that you had to jump into portals in order to move to the next level
Also after beating the last level of the game you could chose a rocket weapon that you can control in flight and it allows you to control enemy units if you hit them with this rocket

I wonder if anyone knows what on earth I am talking about.....
I'm trying to remember a game that would have been played on a desktop PC in the 90's.

I don't remember there being much to it other than it being based around a dolphin like animal. I think a lot of the time you were just watching scenery like a pond or something and there were day and night phases to it. There were other animals that you'd spot as well, I think they were fantasy type creatures, atmospheric sounds etc.....
Gosh that's a bit thin but hope someone has a clue what I'm talking about! It is driving me mad not remembering the name of it.

Pleassseeee help, I played a PC games in the late 90s and I was based on a cruise ship where u could go round all the kitchens and decks and rooms and up on the top, it was a platform game so lots of jumping was involved! I'm pretty sure although not certain that the character was a cartoon mouse ... Please help I've posted before and no one replied :-(
Bit late, and this is unlikely but I didn't want to not say it! Could possibly be 'Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo' on Amiga or Commodore 64? :)

The first one was a PC game. I played all of these games in the late 90's so I don't recall when they might have been released. This game was actually a Dorling Kindersley education game but I don't know which one it is. I remember playing a bunch of mini games where you would learn about lots of different things about animals and places. It's sad that I can see these images in my head but I can't seem to describe them.
Maybe 'The Way Things Work'? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVN-2UTf7vo

Hello :D I remember asking of a PC game here some time ago and I have no idea if I ever thanked any of you properly for helping me. In case I didn't...well obviously thanks a lot for finding my game.

Now once again I can't find a thing I used to play as a kid. I think it was around 2005? In any case after 2000.

It was a PC game that was both multiplayer and single player. The characters you played with were wolves (or hounds or whatever) and you had to kill some creatures -as far as I can remember- before dawn.

The gameplay was 2D and the screen was basically split into 2 areas, upper one being pretty small and that's also where the creatures came from. And you could see the moon hanging over there. The lower one occupied most of the screen and was underground. That's where you basically jumped, killed stuff etc.

I'm not sure but the game could've included chapters??

Hey guys, getting desperate, please help:

I remember playing this game for the PC as a kid (mid 90's, maybe?) - it was a demo so I only had access to one level, but it was a 3D game where you flew a kind of a ship, had to search for survivors and rescue them (by "teleporting" them into your ship and subsequently out of the ship into some other facility) while defending the survivors and yourself from giant insects (ants (?), wasps) and arachnids (spiders, scorpions). I think you could shoot them with...umm...lasers? The level was like a small planet, ergo, I think there were no physical limits, rather, you would just fly around the said planet in a relatively short time.

I might be mistaken about some of the above, in which case I'm sorry - I was but a kid, it was a long time ago and I didn't get the chance to play the game nearly as much as I would have liked to.

Appreciate the help :)
