Alright, I can get behind this. All I remember of the game in mind is:

-It was on the N64
-It was first-person
-The first level is you escaping from a prison cell
-It has a sort of medieval-y look to it. I never got far enough to call it straight fantasy.
-You may or may not have started with a rusty pole or hunk of metal for a weapon.
Hexen by any chance?

It doesn't look like Hexen from the videos I'm watching, but my memory of this game is so fuzzy that it's highly probable that it doesn't exist at all and my brain is just being a scumbag. :p

OK. So i cant think for the life of me the name of this pc game i played back as a kid in the 90s on my windows 98 desktop. its been driving me crazy. the game was so awesome and i want it. well ANYWAYS. the game was like a cartoon game. when the game started up the begining credits was deffinetly purple background and it had the detective cartoon guy standing next to the letters of the name of the game i believe.the idea of the game was to make a movie and show it in theaters and try and be a box office hit or somethin like that. the plot was pretty muich the same for all the movies u made but u r this director shooting this movie of a detective and u can pick thier lines and how they act u could change the scenery of the set from normal to funny lookin to spooky or somethin. i believe the first scene u start is the detective sitting in his chair in his office and he gets up to walk over to the door. and the last scene they're in the same office again and a cop comes to the door and takes away the bad guy u just busted. i also believe there was a voice over room were u could record ur voice and use it over the lines but im not positive it was a long time ago. it was a kids game i have no idea how it got on my computer IVE LOOKED ALL over the internet ...cant find it...im going nuts. plz help. thanks everyone

It was a very old platformer, similar to commander keen. you were this red and blue guy who, on one of the very early levels, goes to the moon. There were all these different coloured planets and plants on the moon, and then you go into a space station.

This is a very bad description, but it's driving me crazy. If anyone can remember what this is, you get 4 internets.

I don't know if this one has already been mentioned in the thread or not but it is like 44 pages long so i'm not about to search the whole thing.

All I can remember is that it's a ps1 rpg/adventure type game with real time combat I think. The other little details are that I remember the hero having blue hair or some vibrant hair colour for some reason (not thinking of tombi games) and I remember one part where I think you're running through a giant tree down a giant staircase inside it trying to escape from a boss rolling down with you.. Other than that, my mind is blank. I'd really really love it if anyone remembered the name. I only rented it back in the day but now I just remember playing it and having fond memories.

Looking for a retro RPG game that was free roam, had skeletons that shot arrows at you at night and wraiths, and it was all in 3rd person. I think it was for the Sega Genesis but cannot be certain. Thought the game had Vermilion in but it is not Sword of Vermilion (i've checked). I remember there being a raft that had to be found and an island with snakes and annoyed you and the leveling up was a bit odd. Any clues on what I'm trying to remember?!

I'm desperately looking for the name of a game I used to play as a kid.

You played as a white monkey/gorilla who had to wander around each level collecting as many bananas as possible (and potentially other fruit) before escaping the area. It was a puzzle-type game, and some levels featured timers or events (such as one of the rooms filling up with water).

That sounds a lot like Brave Fencer Musashi to me, although I could be wrong.

While brave fencer musashi fits what i've said at first look, it doesn't jump out at me as something i've played :S. You could be right though.

It's not Alundra is it? Seem to recall a staircase boss thing in the great tree section but been a while since I played it. Great game, should really go replay that.

hey, please help me finding this game.

it's a pretty old game, where you stand as a player, and there are canibals running from the sides pretty far from you and you have to shoot them, and every time they get to the edge of the screen they turn around and get closer to you and run to the other side, and if they reach you, they eat you.
i also remember that there were cactuses and cows there...

Hello,
I am searching for a game too:

It was a bit of an adult game but nothing really very adult:
You were in a village and had to collect (here was the adult part) pictures of girls, to sell them at the "pawn shop" and then be able to pay the rent for your motel.

There were other things too but i forgot about it. But i'm sure about a trailer, a motel, a "pawn shop", and something more.
It was a gmae with 2 cycles (day and night I think)

It was a game from the late 90's I think! I am not sure. Think after Doom etc.

I hope anyone could help me.

Greets,
IHasNoIdea.

I don't think so looking at gameplay videos on youtube. I seem to recall the graphics being more blocky 3d style than pixelated. I'll try and find the great tree section though.

Hey guys, would really appreciate some help finding the name of this game I've been thinking of for years!!!

Its a 2D side scroller game from the 90s. I remember you could go an alien race/tribe which would float around and discover new areas from a sort of portal system. You could collect these relics/artifacts/orb things and build certain types of buildings. You could create a warrior class by sending your worker aliens in to the warrior building and could also fight other tribes of floaty aliens!

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!
Here is a pic to help, I'm starting to question this games existence. And my own.

Am looking for this exact same game now for months, it was colourful and goodish graphicvs for the time, around 96-02 i think.... amazing game of my childhood can still see it in my head... just not the damn name!!!! any help in finding this game would make you a god... XD stil suprised to find some1 else looking for this game loL!!!!

Hello everybody...
Am looking for a PC game I used to play a long time ago where you play as a cop and you start killing Thugs/Enemies...etc but you have to be carefull for the hostages (they used to scream PLEASE DON'T SHOOT!!!) I remember that I enter jewelry store where I kill the criminals then there is a car chase where I start targeting the cars that have criminals in them... later we reach a building where the thugs are gathered... after this level you get into a car again (one remarkable thing was the ability to choose the destination... for example in the 2nd car chase you can choose which path to go through by shooting on the street sign)

I hope I have given enough details :)
thanks in advance
Sounds like Virtua Cop 2, pretty sure that got a PC port.

Ok there's this game I'm desperately trying to remember the name. I remember just about everything about it, except the name so here it goes:

It's definitely a windows game (probably 98/not DOS)
It's a space deathmatch kind of game;
You just click with the mouse to move;
It's 2D and pretty simplistic;
There's a grid and you basically just fly around, there are planets with people and without people;
The ones without people you can gather resources from; the ones with people you can sell resources to and buy equipments;
The objective of the game is to get X amount of kills;
As a planet gets stronger it develops a shield around it making it harder to kill it.
Some of the weapons are lasers, but the weapons that I can best remember are the plague bomb, which shoots this little green swarm and when it hits the planet it slowly kills the population, the icon for it is redish and looks like one of those "biological danger" and then there's the nuclear bomb which is slightly like the plague bomb but is yellow and blue.
If I'm not crazy one of the ships you can use looks like a yellow angry smiley face.
I believe you can take people from the planets with people and take them to the planets without people.
As long as the planet is yours, it stays green (i think) and will shoot enemy ships, and if it's not yours it stays red (i think) and it will shoot you.
