Looking for a PC Game from the 90's that was like a cross between Risk and DnD. Turn based, you built up armies w/fighters, Magic Users, Paladins etc and invaded/defended against other kingdoms. You could also send out heroes on quests to bring back magical items. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I'm looking for a 90's PC games. You could play it together with 2 players on one keyboard on the pc. Every player had a tank and you had to find the opponents flag on the base of your opponent. Base is protected bij gates and cannons and stuff, you could hunt eachother and you could place mines as well. It had a view only from above and sometimes you could hide under a tree or if you were a "bastard" you place a mine under the tree :D .

Anyone know what game this is?

All i remember about this game that you had to summon creatures with the help of your caracter who had mana! It was a kind of RTS just with one hero and the creatures you summon, so you didnt have to build anything and if i remember right the goal was to defeat other summoners! I think it is a 10years of game for pc (or more)! Pls help me! Thx:)
I'm pretty tempted to say it's Sacrifice. They have it on GOG so check here and see:

I am looking for an old PC game that I played on windows, It was kind of like pokemon, you had to capture weird creature in different area's, I remember a forest and a cave and you could sell them at the mart. If you had strong enough creatures you could challenge amaster in some kind of wizard's tower, the monsters I can remember are some sort of kite and a cactus. Hope anyone knows what it is. I can remember that the one I played was a demo BTW
This is what I'm looking for as well
Sounds like BattlePets so try giving that a look but I'm not sure why you would as it is pretty atrocious.

I'm looking for a low budget RTS pc game late 90's all I remember was one faction was a sort of green space marine corp, the other faction wore blue they where human also sort of like corporate security, another were alien and mostly purple. It was same view as c&c and very basic graphics. I got it dirt cheap from a super market. I think the box art had a brown planet in the background.

Anyone knows a NES shoot'em up game in 1942 style, with a lot of armors to choose from in the very beginning of the game (each have different power-up)?

One have black bullets circled around the main unit and two shooters on the two sides. (which is the easiest one to use). Some others I can recalled are one that shoots laser rings, one that can shoots eight directions, one that shoot lasers from the two sides and some weird things from its main gun :-/. It's also have the annoying thingy that you need to press A to unequip yourself to equip new armors, and if you accidentally do that and there is no armor around you are doomed :-/.

Okay...this one has been bugging me for many years now. It was an NES game. The main character was a teenager I believe; he reminded me of Captain N. The part I remember most is that you have to find scuba gear before you can start swimming in the water, and the water was filled with sharks. It was the type of game where you progressively find items that allow you to reach new areas. It was hard as hell to my 11-year-old self. If anyone knows this one, you'll solve one of my life's mysteries!

Hey guys!

Me and my sister used to play this PC Game on Windows 95/98 and we haven't been on it for over 10 years. We really want to know what is was called!!! Hoping you guys could help :)

Basically, you were in this ship and I remember there being aliens/dinosaurs/bug things that attacked you. I think you moved around in the ship and you might have been able to get out of it. (can't remember though) We were really bad at it, obviously considering our age and didn't quite know what to do.

So does anyone know the name if the game? :D I'd love you forever if you know it!

edited: and i think you crash landed on the island/planet or something similar to that :)
Thats sounds like the exact same game I came here to find. You were in some kind of slow moving tank with some weapons that had to be used in certain scenarious(acting quick with arocket when a two legged dino came sprinting at you in a rocky terrain). You moved by changing directions and then clicking move ahead. You had to find some kinds of alien keys and if you failed a nuclear bomb would go off. The game had three discs as I recall.
Some of the scenes I remember include a swamp you could get stuck in, some kind of huge toad jumping towards you, meeting a human looking alien by going around some rocks in the right order, a bunker at the beach.
I really wish I could get my hands on this again so I can actually finish it now that I'm older. I remember it being quite scary and getting me all jumpy when my brother played it back then.

This conjures up two possibilities:
It would surprise me if you mean ALBION [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albion_(video_game)], but it could also be the original Unreal [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreal].

I know this might be nearly impossible to find the game with what little info I have, but I'll give it a go...

It was on play station one. All I really remember is that you were a little guy, and you could climb up this tree into a tree house. Inside the tree house there was some plant that would eat you, and I think the tree house was a laboratory. If you went out the right side of the tree house, there were monsters. If you kept going up in the tree house, I don't remember what happened.

I am trying so hard to remember the name of a game I played a while ago. I believe its a 90's game and also an adventure company game as well. All I remember is a woman in a skin tight black outfit and she is breaking into this museum to steal a rare item (can't really remember what) but whatever it is when she got her hands on it. She set off alarms and right as guards were coming the I believe it was a crystal sucked her in and sent her back in time to medieval times and she has to find a disguise and solve a bunch of puzzles. That's all I really remember. It has been bugging me and I really miss that game. Please help!

Sounds like one of the Heroes of Might and Magic games, although the description is vague enough to fit a pretty long list of series.

There was a contemporary military turn based strategy game for the NES where your military resources were tiles on map. I want to say the title had Desert in it but I may be wrong.

There was also a scifi style side scrolling shooter (it was in the arcade (with 4 sticks) and later on the SMS) where you move around shooting at things in corridors which you move between through doors in the background; Kind of like Fantasy Zone. I remember upgrading to a jetpack and kicking ass.

Help me remember...

i remember a 2D PC game demo, a point and click adventure game. involved a kid with a raspy voice serving as the narrator as well as the main character. at some point he talks about a "japanese beetle" and i believe he falls in a cavern after going to a farm or something. i also remember his raspy voice singing along with his own theme song making a hi hat sound like "ahteee ahtee ahteee"

Please help this has been eating at my brain for years and years!!!

Okay my memory is pretty fuzzy because I was about 5-6 years when I played this game. Now I'm 15, so that makes it ten years ago. I got this game when I bought my PS2 for the first time, it did not come within the box but the shopkeeper gave it to me.

So what I remember is that some boy (or maybe it was a gnome/dwarf/elf) was sleeping. He woke up and something was wrong. I am not sure what but I think he was the only one in the house or something. So basically he goes outside to his little village and starts running around. I remember the first objective was to find 100 of something. Not sure what you had to find but I think it was some kind of green sphere, or golden coins. So basically I found 99 of these, and couldn't get the 100th, so I was pretty much stuck. I still had fun looking for these things.

The boy was sleepy and very dizzy. He swayed when you stood still and looked tired. Atleast I think he did.

So any idea what game this might be? I'd love to hear your thoughts, and a link to a picture or two would be appreciated.

PS: I picked this game up in between 2002 and 2004.

Someone was wondering about a game where some girls danced and then a genie came. The genie destroyed a village but a boy survived. His girlfriend might have died too. He had to go to a dungeon to search for spheres.

Well, that game is Dark Cloud. So now you know that.

Nope, it's not any of those. This wasn't a fps or rpg, more the likes of a point and click adventure. The 3D graphics were good and there was a liveaction introduction by some military guy explaining the mission.
