Ok, so there is another game that im also looking for.
Based on "mcopo" post on emforums which is on the same quest

New challenge for you guys! Much appreciated if someone helped me!
Okay, the game was simple:
- Windows 3.1/95 game;
- could be played either against the AI or against a human player;
- two characters - a dog and a postman. You could choose one of both;
- the scenario is some house front yard, divided in square spaces;
- postman must deliver the letter to the house (by reaching the frontdoor);
- dog must... well, bite the postman;
- players take turns rolling the dice to see how many spaces they will move. Kinda like a board. Yup, it's preety much a boardgame;
- player win 1 point after each victory. Getting 10 points rewards you with a character's (yours) showoff. But the game didn't end after this (it never ends!);
- the "board" had some holes on it, but I don't remember how they interfered in the game;
- the game had a 16 bit version and a 32 bit one. They were separated executables.

That's it! It was a preety simple game, but still fun! And the cheerful art style added up to that! I attached an image of it from a cd magazine (the cd is long gone - that's why i'm posting here). If you guys need a better quality image, please tell!
Oh, and by the way, the magazine states that the name of the game is simply "Postman", with the subtitle "cachorro x carteiro" (dog x postman). But I couldn't find ANYTHING on google, so it must be wrong.

Hello everyone. I'm looking for an old 2D isometric shooter, futuristic I think, where you had a big cylindrical gun. That's all I can remember unfortunately.
It's not Crusader no remorse or no regret, I know them well.

There was a game a long time ago I played on the Super Nintendo, I know it was real but I can't find it anywhere and no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I ask them. It was a platformer, from what I remember you get to pick a character at the start of the game and I think you have to collect pieces of a time machine or something like that. It's not Mario's Time Machine. I'm afraid I don't have much else I can say than that, other than it was a 2 player co op game. Any information on this mysterious gem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I might sound a little vague but, here I go.

This game was a NES game, not sure if a famycom hack or what. Known facts: this was a game completely in japanese. All kenjis all over the menus. The main character was a little dragon alike character (all white) and you should think in... Shy ghosts from super mario bros meets kirby. (But, it was white). The game mecanics was to defeat enemies, with a tail hit (similar to the one that the blue dragon in Islander games gave). The enemies dropped something (not sure if coins, white orbs or what). LAter on, with those orbs, the Character was able to BUY skills. One of the skills i'm positively sure it was the flying skill. While using this skill, the character simply moved its little tiny wings and moved in an horizontal straight line. Also, while doing this, he plucked its tiny tongue out of its mouth, as if it were a :p smiley.

There was food (japanese food) all over the screen, and i'm 100% sure, the game is not "Chery cherub".

The game was more like an rpg game, the difficulty was insane and this game is driving me nuts! please help!
Any help with this one? thanks! extra info, this game used password, yes, in japanese

Sci-fi RTS from... late 90s or early 00s, I think. It involved your avatar character wired into a giant floating fortress thing, and you could summon (nanotech mumbo-jumbo, but with none of TA's nanite spray) jets and tanks and the like. Fully 3d (as far as that went 14 years ago, anyway), and at any time, you could take direct control of any single vehicle on the map, fighting from first-person view.

Hello. Im looking for old game on PC. (2d) It's a Top-Down,level-based game.

1) You fly in space by spaceship looks like jet.
2) You could play with someone else (2 players on one screen)
3) If you destroy enemies they drop diamonds.
4) You could upgrade your spaceship/weapons.
5) After few level you have to dodge meteors or beat a boss.
6) You can only fly to the right and left.

Im looking forward for any help.
That unfortunately describes a rather large genre of shooter games. Do you remember any details? Raiden or Silpheed come to mind offhand.

Hi. Please help me.
I used to play a game, 10-12 years ago. I played with a girl in a futuristic suit and had to shoot down the enemy.
The weaponry was also futuristic( I mean there were laser guns...like in Star Wars).
I don't remember anything else ( maybe the first part of the game).
Also, I think the name sounded like Onix( I'm not sure, but it is certain that it had an 'ix' in it).
Thank you in advance.

This game is very vaguely remembered .

I remember going to a friend's house and see him play this game on his tv, i can't remember the system it was for but i know it had a controller.

The game has a very dark and desolate theme to it. I remember that the character was very tall and thin, looked a bit like jack skelington from Nightmare before christmas. I remember the plot being that you had lost a loved one and got knocked unconscious or something. Anyways, at the beginning of the game you get woken up by some floating thing in some kind of museum or library. Also, at the start of the game you need to search this museum for your missing arm because you wake up with just one arm.

ring any bells?

I remember it was a car game for the PC, it was like a need for speed game where you didn't get to pic your car and the color was random, but you always saw what color you were going to be in the loading screen. The car was most likely a lambo. in the game you have to escape the police, but different police had different colored blips on the map and different purposes. there was one that had a sort of flesh colored that set up spike strips, and one called "Moose" which would always try to ram you off the road.

ring any bells?

there was a game which i think was on the Mega Drive (Genesis in USA) where you were a ninja and had special moves, one of which was called Fushin which increased your jumping distance, another made you explode and killed anything caught in the explosion. the second level involved platform jumping across a waterfall. it was a side scrolling game, had you fighting a lot of enemies a late level was like a labyrinth with a lot of revolving doors that i never made it passed.
I think thats shadow dancer do you remember having a dog sidekick in the game
Blimey that's an old post! The game turned out to be one of the Shinobi games, most likely the second one, Revenge of Shinobi

OK, guys, here's mine:
Late 80's, early 90's. MAME or Neo Geo game (almost sure it was MAME). Two players in a suit and wearing sunglasses (I think blue and red suits, but I don't remember it properly) hunting ghosts in a platforms game. I remember you could crouch in some places to get an extra shield, which made your suit gray (the first one could be got by crouching in a London-like payphone in the first stage). One of the ghosts rode a bicycle and it was pretty similar to Gohan when he was a kid (chinese style with a similar hat and such. We used to call him bicyclist-Gohan).
reminded me of bad dudes for nes it could be a game similar hope this helps
Thanks for the try, but unfortunately it's not that game. The characters are not so "realistic", but the mechanics of the game are pretty similar.

Hi guys,

I registered just to find out what the name of this game is because it's been bugging me for years and i can't for the life of me figure out what it was!

It was for the Amiga 500 around 96-97 and it was a scrolling shoot em up game where you controlled a giant robot. You aimed and shot at the enemy with the mouse but you moved around with the keyboard. I remember it being really difficult to do both and you really needed two people to play it; one controlling the aiming and shooting and the other the movement on the keyboard.

The enemies were these small soldiers who would shoot ropes onto your robot and climb their way up and if you moved around they would swing from side to side which looked really cool and sometimes they would fall off. That's all i can remember. Any ideas?

Somehow this reminded me of Magic Candle 3, but I'm not sure if you mean Warcraft 2 like style-wise or quality-wise. I think you start as a blond (well as far as the graphics allow you to distinguish this...) guy in blue armor and in the first forest you meet more characters one of which might have been a archer.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it is not Magic Candle III. In MC3 you start with multiple possible characters, but in my example you start with specifically only one, and find the others later. And I meant Warcraft 2 style and quality wise.

There was a game I rented for the NES. It was a kind of Ninja Gaiden ripoff, with a man slashing enemies with a sai instead of a katana sword, and jumping platforms. The think that made it appart was that at the end of every level, the sai would grow longer and have 2 extra spikes (like if you made sai centipede), then a bird would take a treasure in from the room, fly away; and then the image would change to a cool scene with a point of view at the back of the character, watching from a cliff the bird flying, while he holds the recently improved sai on his hand.

Can somebody name that game?
