Hi guys! First post!

This is driving me batty.

A) I'm thinking of a game that's about 15-18 years old and played on a PC
B) Turn Based
C) Evolve a civilization from being archaic to extremely advanced - particularly I remember evolving some pretty wacky technology.
D)) It was a top down view
E) It had a campaign function but also had a head to head multiplayer as I remember playing my brother countless times on it.
F) Was not Civilization or Age of Empires.

Thank you SOOO Much!

If anyone knows this I'll kiss them and then eat my hat. My sister is convinced this is just a vivid dream but I remember playing it.

-PC Edutainment/Kid's game, probably 15ish years old at this point, released in the US

-3rd person (ostensibly) puzzler, had a lot of Sierra-style whoops-you're-dead despite this

-Plot was something about a group of kids having to save the world after discovering their talismans (pseudonativeamerican necklaces) that allow them to shapeshift

-The PC was the newest of them who hadn't yet learned what animal he could shift into

-One zone contained dinosaurs, the other was a labyrinth with a minotaur in it (and taught the whole myth in order to explain how to navigate it)

Like I said if somebody actually finds this and confirms it is real instead of just me going crazy, I will absolutely give out some sort of prize. Seriously. A game on your Steam wishlist, whatever, I'm that desperate to find this thing and show everyone I'm not going loony lol

Hi there! First post here, this thread is just awesome and I really hope somebody here can help me.
The game I'm looking for is best described as some puzzle-platformer-mix. It's a PC game which I played in the mid- to late 90s (so I guess it was released in the early to mid-90s). All I remember is tha it was a 2D "sidescroller" where you control some sort of red "blob" with a face, which eats its way though green, kinda technological-looking tiles (aKa circuit boards). The tricky part where purple(?) bombs placed at strategic locations. When you ate the tile under a bomb, it fell down. I'm not really sure what happened then. I think that when it fell on other bombs, it ended in a big mess, but if it fell on a green tile, it just sat there...There were also special levels where the character was also subject to gravity. When you moved through empty tiles, you also fell down and had to get to green tiles as fast as possible...
Hope this description reminds somebody here of something from that period, I've been hunting for that game for months now!
Thanks in advance for any help!

I used to play this game on the pc, but it wasn't anything that required downloading or a disc. It was a stick figure game that had weird heads. There was a blue team and a green team that went head to head in multiplayer. I played this game around 2010. Anyone know? Thanks.

hi, found this thread on google and signed up just for it. got 2 games.

1) this old educational pc game from either the late 90s or early 2000s where you walk around a house filled with stuffed teddy bears and you can click on each one and they say something. one particular part i remember was a grandfather clock and if you click on the pendulum it turns green and says something like ?all this swinging is making me sick?
the game was pretty bad iirc and one time it glitched up and all the colors were negative and then i had nightmares. it might have been only for australia/new zealand but who knows....

2) this game on the old apple system 7 os (all i remember was it was black and white) where your character is a horse i think (it was on the splash screen too) and you go around a maze and i think you answered questions? it seems pretty bad but i never got a chance to play it and like all the older kids from other classes used to come in and go on the computers so that our class never actually got a turn.

thanks to anyone that knows these and i hope i can try help others find games too
1) The Witches House http://youtu.be/1hPOJJ7OTwQ
no that is a awful new rpgmaker game, not a 90s educational pc game. it was sort of point and click but you werent controlling anybody. you just explored this house with teddy bears everywhere that talked (it was a kids game)

EDIT:
NEVER MIND found the first game, it was an nz game so probably nobody here wouldve found it

Please Help!!! Back when PS1 was out I played a demo of this game, (Made by the Japanese from what I remember), that had a Male protagonist, with white hair, maybe shoulder length. I remember the first mission is to fight a helicopter using what look like some type of chakra bombs, they came in various colors and all did different types of damage. You also fight tanks in the demo. Please help me find this game!!

There is a small chance that 2nd could be

Bagasaurus

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXEcgNwU6Js

it was released in 1988 for several ports including Apple II. The link is for Commodore 64 and its in color. Sorry, I didn't find a link for the Apple version, so I'm not sure if this could be in black and white for the Apple version. It is a dinosaur not a horse, but the "gameplay" fits quite well as the one that you remember. Check it out and have a luck!

Hey folks, I'm looking for a game that I played as a kid on my dad's laptop. It was some sort of puzzle game that often involved finding keys to trigger the exit. You needed to acquire certain equipment before being able to go on/in certain terrains. (fins for water, or else you would drown, with some weird sound that sounds like "bummer") It get's progressively more complex and cool, but I can't think of what it's called...

This game was on the original xbox and was a fighting game. It was with really small cartoon like characters. A few of the places you could fight are on the back of a truck with a cop chasing you, another place you could fight is Christmas orientated. I remember there being sort of like a narrator that started and finished the game and I remember there being bright colours

Ok, guyz, I believe my will be the hardest ever... anyway. I played this on the psx times, and the reason I don't remember the name is because the cover and the game itself was in japanese, so it's possible it was only released in japan.

It's a sidescrolling game, where you can choose 3 characters: All animals, but they walk in two legs, like cartoons.
one is a circus monkey(with a red outfit) and uses a stick as a weapon
other is a bird (a parrot, i think) and uses a long cutting weapon I don't know the name
And the other is a pink pig which uses a Trident

Each one had a special move, I only remember the pig's one, which blasts a short flame from his mouth

The first stage is a jungle with shallow water on the ground, and you beat the enemies, like a beat'em up game, when they die they drop lots of coins...

I remember there was other stage in a kinda castle

You can choose a different character for each stage

The graphics os this game were awesone for a side scrolling, I played this between 1996-1998

I hope anyone can help ><

Looking for a old turn-based RPG, I think I played it late nineteens or early twenties. I have only some vague memories.
I played the game on PC but it might be a port.
The game style is a bit like Shining force mixed with knights and machines. I remember there was a map where you had a battle with only air-units.
I remember the game started with a guy finding a girl fainted in a forest, and shortly after he encounter evil knights who wants the girl (but you obviously fight them off). I also remember the girl was some kind of cyborg project made by evil guys and you have to fight her in the end.

If it helps, I also remember there were a painful map where you fight bandits on mountain, where your units were crippled compared to the bandits moving freely on the mountain terrain. Yeah also, you find someone in a castle who was supposed to help you to identify the girl but ending up drugging you with a meal and locks you up and takes the girl.

Really grateful if someone can help me with this :)

Hey, need help here with a game I played around 2000(Windows 98).

Was an action RPG, you started in a castle/tower and were instantly ambushed, then proceeded out of the castle to the town(?).
First big quest was killing a giant white spider on an island.
EDIT: Was isometric as well.

Thanks in advance!

I have been trying to remember this game for ever, can anyone help me?

-It was a PlayStation 2 game if I recall correctly.

-It was a pretty linear adventure game from what I remember (level to level).

-The story involved a large bird like creature.

-Can't remember the playable character, not sure if it was a human, animal or made up species.

-I also remember having to destroy these large grey eggs (that look a lot like regular seagull eggs in this day and age just bigger). I'm guessing these were lay'd by that giant bird we are pursuing.

-I believe the first level was in a lake/river and you have to jump from grass land platforms to the next to get through the level, one of the said eggs were on one of these platforms too.
I also remember a train like level.

-Sadly I can't remember what the purpose for the giant eggs were although I remember them bouncing as if they had a live creature trying to push itself out from inside the egg.

-Final boss battle is the fight with this giant bird like creature I think.

My doubts: For some reason I can't confirm for sure if the eggs were collected or destroyed but I'm 60% sure it was destroyed.

Thanks for any help :)
