I was going to repost my game two from before but in the meantime I remembered something easier, I thought it be easy to find my self but I kept hitting Jumping Flash.

It is an early PS1 game where you fight robots (I think it was one on one only) in first person (might had a third person option as well but not sure) while being a robot yourself. I think it had a two-player split screen mode but I?m not 100% sure.

You could customize the robots with different weapons and drill hands and stuff like that, some could fly some could jump really high depending on customization. By the way I played the PAL version not sure if the game got released in the US, design wise it looked Japanese.

It is not Jumping Flash (though they are some similarities)..
Re-posting this, in case any more people see it and know which game it is. As I said before is an early PS1 game, I must have played it in 97' but it looked like it was released in 95', 96'. I'll try to research it again myself later, but if anybody can tell me which game it is in the meantime, it will be much appreciated.
Asking for a robot game on the PS1 is like asking to search for a needle in a haystack (not counting with the only released in Japan games). :p
If you can give more info on gameplay style or type of game it will help since nearly half had customizable robots.
For now these are the ones i can remember Armored Core, Iron Soldier 3 and Front Mission 3.
It had a cartoony feel to it, the robots were brightly colored, blue, red and so on. As I said the gameplay from what I remember was one-on-one robot fighting. Kinda like a fighting game but with different mechanics. I don't even remember if it had a story mode, or if it was simply picking individual fights between robots. The games you mention are of a completely different tone and newer than this game. I'm not 100% sure but I think the game didn't have a save function.

One game. One i played many many years ago...in the early 90`s, a pc game that i remember practically nothing about except for 2 little details. Something about a lion and the word fable. No its not the game fable because i tried finding it many times and kept coming up with that, but its not what im looking for. I wish i could remember more details which kills me because i enjoyed this game so much when i was little. I highly doubt anyone may be able to help...but if someone has any idea anything shared is appreciated!

Found it! The game I was looking for was Robo Pit. Looks like my description was good enough, though it has a save function.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOViOfSxAlY

This thread is huge I?m sure I?m not the first one to find his own game but thanks to anyone that looked into it.

I?ll re-post that Arcade game I?m looking for some time in the future, but that is a real hard one I doubt anyone would get it I?ve been trying to find it for two decades now.

Let me jump right to it. The game was an "Inquisitor" style graphics game where you began with the choice of either male or female both of whom were clad in black armor/clothes (my memory is hazy). Once you started, I recall there was a village you kept returning to where there was initially a healer (a lady with a mushroom type cap(?)) and later on, after you advanced she was replaced by another similar looking lady (her sister I think). The game basically consisted of venturing out of this village/town, killing goblins primarily I think, until you got to a point where you entered a dungeon like builiding which was guarded by powerful troops. As I recall, there was a teleportation building, a small platform like thing in the main village. Once you got to far off places, you would have access to these places from the village rather than having to walk all the way. I recall the game was quite difficult for me.It was windows based and graphics were pretty good (like Inquisitor: The Video Game). That's as much as I can recall.
EDIT: It had a dark, grim atmosphere. And I recall I got to an advanced point where the dungeons were dark and was somehow lit up in certain pockets. The view was in third person, from up top. And I always had to return to the village and new stuff, new people would turn up.The fighting was not turn based. And I do believe there were two bars, i.e HP and MP(?) probably (maybe green and red(?)).
I REALLY want to know which game this is. Thanks.

I have been looking for a game that is JUST LIKE AGE OF EMPIRES!!! only you dont have to play as humans, you can be some pretty f***** up looking creatures. I remember that was pretty much the only difference. You would have to take out the other team and then conquer a part of the map. I really want this game again but i cant remember the name!!!

Hi. I've been checking around far and wide for this game.
It was on PC in the 90's or VERY early 2000's. It was probably in the kids' genre, but it had a very creepy atmosphere.
You played as a nerdy-looking boy with light hair and glasses, and went to different (creepy) places to accomplish some type of objective? I believe that it was all some type of nightmare that you needed to escape from. I think that, to enter a different zone at the end of each level, you went through a portal. I do remember one level where you went to a school and ran along the top of a chalkboard, dodging enemies.
I apologize for being so vague. If someone could help me find this, I could finally sleep at night!

can someone help me i am trying to find a game that i use to play when i was a child on my pc i dont remeber the name of the game but i remember playing as a little grey person who looked like a mole and you lived in a magical park and you had to try and find the rungs of a ladder to your treehouse i dont remember much but i remember that you had a wolf type character as your enemy please help
Im looking for this game too! I had two I think in the series. The one described here that takes place in the park with the tree house, but there was a second one that took place in a haunted house where you had to collect items and solve puzzles to put the ghosts to rest in order to get treasure that was in the house somewhere?

The character was a mole I'm sure, I think he wore a blue t-shirt and a red baseball cap and was MAYBE called something like Oliver? And he had a sidekick that was I believe a bee wearing glasses and a t-shirt.

I remember an attic room and there was a ghost girl in the mirror by the bed... and you had to do something to do with astrology in that room

there was a room at the top of the staircase with portraits of all the ghosts as people (and a hidden compartment containing a silver spoon)

and at some point a really big fat ghost appeared in either the kitchen...or maybe it was the greenhouse....and was eating a bunch of tomatoes... and every time the characters went into that room they'd shout scaredly 'AH! ITS A GHOST!' and run out and you'd be taken back to the previous room....

I think it was a point and click puzzle game, in 2d... sort of like a hand drawn flash animation style....my mum thinks she bought it from woolworths perhaps...? late 90's early 00's

Can anyone help?! This ones been driving me nuts for years!

Hey everyone,
I've been looking for this game for years.
I don't remember much about it, but I used to play it as a kid. I think it was in the mid 90's or so and it was a pc game.
I remember it started off in a dark, underground room. There was a mole (and I think he was wearing sunglasses) who asked you to switch on the light with your mouse. Then he said your cursor didn't look good or something and asked you to put on a glove. There were no real people in the game as far as I remember. Just the mole, and some other glove-things.
The other thing I remember is that you were in a house of some sort, and you had to do challenges in each room.
In the kitchen, you had to make pancakes for another glove-thingy, but you had to make the batter first, but you couldn't, because the mixer's battery was in some kind of toy train in another room. So you first had to go and get that.
That's about all I remember of the game.
Really hope you guys can help me.

Ok guys, I like many others here created an account just to ask for an old game I played. I searched for the first 200+ page of this thread and can't find any that matches it.

The game is a top down game where soldiers fight of swarms of aliens. I played it on PC but it could possibly be a port from DOS or some other old console or not. It was 2D. The game was just a view of a stationary place, the camera didn't move and the character sprites was a bit small.

What I remember most is that there is flowers on the battlefield which we the player could squash or else the alien will eat and evolve into something that could lay eggs and make more aliens, the flowers spawn around on the map randomly. The lives was based on how many grunt soldiers running around the 3 or 4 playable characters (I remember co-op with 2 of my friends with each of us controlling different parts of the keyboard for our characters), basically as long as the grunts on our side is still alive we still can revive.

The first mission was in a desert like place that looked/felt like arizona desert. When we start any level there's like a countdown timer to the start of the alien swarm attack in which we can prepare a bit.

In later missions we are inside a building but most of the walls are destructible by the aliens and us so we had to lock the grunts in a room where the walls was indestructible (The door was either auto open or in a lock state we could toggle). We could command the grunts (through weird key combos) to either follow us, stand ground or let them do whatever they want.

Late late in the game a breed of the alien can either turn into a shadow or go underground (I'm not sure what it did but their sprite turned into a shadow-esque circle on the ground) and we couldn't fire at it until it showed up again.

There's also alien pods that spawn aliens besides from the laying egg one (which the players can destroy).

summary:
-Alien eats flower to evolve to something that lay eggs (egg laying alien is a big bigger and tougher to kill, flower is squashable to avoid evolved aliens)
-Single or multiplayer/CO-OP with controls on the same keyboard
-Some walls further in the game destructible
-Grunt soldiers is kinda a life meter, they get wiped out you can't revive
-Timer before swarm starts
-Grunt soldiers can be ordered to follow stay put or roam around
-there are rooms with lockable doors/gates that can be toggled by the player

It's not:
Alien Breed
Battle for Gliese
Planet Wars (almost like this http://www.hoagames.com/game/Planet-Wars, but it had shit loads of grunt soldiers that you had to make sure stay alive until the end of the level)
Maybe: TRIUMPH! WAR 2142.

Okay this drives me crazy for a long time now.
The game I'm remembering was a car related SNES game. Unlike most of the car games back then, it wasn't driving races on tracks, it was more like a stock car pit fighting thing.
You could choose between like 10-15 different characters, all with their specifications (concerning weapons, health and stuff). I'm not quite sure what the goal was, but I think you had to bump enemy cars off the edge of the "map". Or destroy them somehow.

The characters were mostly not-human, if I remember correctly, but I know I found them hilariously funny back then when I was like 8yo. So maybe they had funny quotes or appearance, I don't really know...
I checked all the lists of car related SNES games I could find, without results. A friend of mine told me you could obtain a trophy in one of the SSB games, that would resemble a character of said game, but I couldn't find anything.

As I said, I checked a lot of lists, so I know it's not Battle Cars. And all the other car games I found where racing simulations, whereas my game isn't a simulation at all.
So maybe someone remembers it, since it's obviously quite unknown. Please, I want to know the name of that game. Maybe it's not even funny anymore, but I just need clarity.
Bump.
And I remember another game. It was kinda like Heroes of Might and Magic (an early one, like 2 or 3), but I swear it's none of them. Does someone know another game series similar to HOMM?
It wasn't Rock n Roll Racing?
No, definitely not. I'm 100% sure you weren't driving a track, it was more like roaming freely in a specific area. And the characters stuck out of the cars like in Super Mario Kart, so that you could see them.
Whacky Wheels or Skunny Cart?
Close, really close. I think the characters were humanoid, but not exactly humans. They were in some comic style drawn, pretty unrealistic.
But they way they stuck out of their cars is comparable to Whacky Wheels. So we're getting closer! As a reminder: SNES. Not Rock n Roll Racing. Pretty sure there were no tracks to drive laps, but drive freely in a squared arena thing.

I thought it was mario but every mario game i've gone through is not the one i'm thinking of
It's 3D, big adventure game. I don't remember there being really any levels or anything like that
Anyways the main parts I remember, is a part when your in a castle, a giant robot type thing chasing you
And a area where you have to walk around water on some kind of border or something like that..
I believe you could swim in it but you couldnt get to where you needed to go if you ended up in the water you had to swim back to the place you came out of and try and walk around again
I know it's a super vague description but does anyone have any ideas?

Its not Super Mario 64 (I have that game)
Thank you, kind sir.

Some of the things you mention remind me of Dynamite Cop. But the small people vs. big people and the motorcycle put me off, of course there could be a motorcycle sequence that I don't remember.

Anyway check it out, and if its not that one maybe somebody else can give you a better direction.

I haven't extensively searched through this thread for mine but here goes

6-8 years back my cousin and I used to play this online tank game. To my memory, you picked one of the color teams (purple, blue, red, etc) and controlled your little tank. You drove around the land map planting mines and shooting the other tanks, I think, trying to win with your team.

Anyone?

Edit: I should clarify; the game "Tanks" is not what I'm talking about.

I used to play this tactical role playing game which has a fighting scene similar to 3rd Super Robot Wars Z, the main hero was a guy using a blue robot and there's this girl who uses a purple/white robot which is weak and along the way her powers got awaken or unleashed and she gets stronger. The icons of the all the characters in the map if im not wrong are the heads of the robots. I played this game when i was a child roughly around 9-10 years ago. If any of you know the name of this game i will be eternally grateful

I just had to register as this game has been in my mind since junior/primary school (90s) and probably unknown as it may have been a school game..... I think it was a maths game where a stick figure stood on a ledge and you typed in a number which I believe was the angle and you pressed enter to make him swing on a rope.... The angles you typed in decided whether you made it to the other ledge or not............. Out of all the games I've played this one has stuck with me the most it's odd.

If this helps I'm from the UK just in case it was a school only game

Any help anyone?
