I'm looking for an early 90's detective adventure game. All I can remember about it is that the detective's hideout had a big pool of inky black liquid that you went to for healing and some storyline events. It was done in a photo realistic style ala Tex Murphy: Under a Killing Moon.
It also had puzzles in it sort of like the 7th Guest games.

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for a PC game I used to play 9-10 years ago. In it I played as a grey cat which was standing and walking on its back legs (I think the cat had boots and a sword but I'm not sure).

I remember 2 of the levels. One of them was situated in a city, there were barrels and at a certain time I had to go underground in the sewer system (where I had to swing on chains so I won't drop into the chemical-green waste of the city). And the other one was like a vertical maze where I had to jump from one stone platform to another because they were collapsing after every step.

That's as much I as remember :/ I've been trying to find the game for a while now, I really want to play it again. Hopefully someone will know it. :)

I'm looking for an old game, it's shareware. I played it on a disc my grandparents found called "Encyclopedia of 1000 games volume 1" or something like that.

Anyway, the game is top down like zelda or final fantasy maps and you play as a kitten girl in a forest. I remember having to find this tree, but since it was just a demo you couldn't go past. I'm really curious to see what else the game has.

I think it was an RPG, and it may be a verrrryyyy old Hello Kitty game.

Perhaps it was Claw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claw_%28video_game%29 it came out in the late 90s and featured a gray cat who walked upright in boots and wielded a sword. Not so sure about the city tho. But you did have to go underground and save your shipmates.

I have one that is probably going to be pretty hard lol I remember playing it during the late 90's when I was a kid, a PS1 game as a matter of fact. I remember it as being a "cartoony" racing type game where you chose one of a few characters to race in a variety of worlds with vehicles like boats, space ships, and cars/trucks/semi's.

Each character's vehicle was in the same paint scheme as the person themselves as well.

Pretty vaugue description, but it's all I can remember :|

Thanks!
Wouldn't happen to be Xybots [http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=10510], would it?

I am searching for two games. I last played them on a old computer maybe 12 years ago on a windows 95 or 98 (had the blue screen where you typed in the folder name). Anyways, the games were about cavemen, and in the first one, it was a single screen platformer. The game started off with a man sitting under a tree and the fruit from that tree fell on his head and that inspired him to build a bamboo box helicopter. The game itself was a single screen side view platformer and the copter delivered people from point A to point B.

The second game description is a bit more obscure as in you could fly a delta. That's all I remember.

I would be really grateful for a reply

That sounds like Ugh!.

Hi all.
The game I try to remember the name is an old arcade side-scrolling shooter. You control some sort of weapon, but as you advance, you gather other parts and it turns out to be a robot. The robot is holding the weapon you begin the game with.
Any clues on this one? Thanks a lot!

Looking for PC game where you would build a roman city and then build boats to protect your city. You could upgrade your boats and what not. Then foreign enemies that had blue sails would try to attack your boats/city. Played it during mid 2000s but was on an old computer.

Name of the game has been driving me crazy any help would be appreciated

Hello everyone.

I got a tricky question for you, and it would help me SO much if i could actually get this game right.

I remember having this 2CD case named "windows" something... no, it was not an operative system ... One of those cd's had this full case of small demos of games of all kinds... and i remember playing everyone of them till exhaustion(being the case that i remember of Disciples Sacred Lands Demo).

SO there was this cd with demos, like ive told, and i had it around the end of the 90s beginning of 00s, and there was this space game in it.

the game was an old type like game, with black background representing space and some spheres representing planets with various sizes and colors. it was a old space strategic/rpg game where you would colonize a number of planets that would evolve and protect themselves while a number of other players (pc) would do the same over global dominion.

I remember it being very very simple. but i just cant make out the name of the game... the only thing i know is that those 2cd's had Windows "something something" written... and were some sort of compilation of programs, games, images N stuff...and if only i could remember the game name or find the CD's names...
Thanks in advance!!!

This is an awesome thread, found this through google.

* So I'm looking for an old awesome PC game (I believe it was PC) - with this futuristic car that you had to maneuver in outer space in different levels, each had different gravity more or less and you had a set amount of fuel too. I think it was something like Skyracer ? Not sure. Will I need Dosbox to run this ? Hopefully not!

* Another one I just thought about. The character looked a bit like pacman and it was this platform game where you had a lot of different levels and you had to reach the exit levels and you would have these little bouncing pads to get around and pick up ice cream or whatever it was if I remember correctly :) PC as well I believe. Hopefully no dosbox needed too!

Thanks!

Hey guys,

I have this game stuck in my head.

1) I played it about 10 years ago
2) I played it on a pc
3) It was an online game versing other online opponents
3) It was very kiddy-cutsie looking, like baby dinosaurs/ Robots, drill machines
-) You could shoot grenades, beams, underground bombs - You could make your opponent fall by destroying the land underneath them to make them fall to their loss, or shoot them directly.
4) It is similar to cannons, where you shoot the opponents taking turns adjusting your trajectory
5) You verse you opponent on different landscapes
-) Best out of 3 rounds would win
6) You earn coins i think to upgrade and buy better animals to shoot, every animal creature had different powers (fire, electricity, water element) , I guess you could describe it like pokemon sort of
7) You had to have an account set up to log in everytime you played

Ive been racking my brain to figure out what this game was called as I cannot find a game similar to it now to play, if anyone knows the name of it, I would be so grateful, thanks!

Jason

Hello everybody!

I can hardly remember this game which I played when I was 6 or 7, on the first computer we had. It was a Windows 95, and I'm talking of almost 15 years ago!!
I would like so badly to know the name of it!!!
It consisted of a series of puzzles played on different phases. The "setting" of the game was all very green, I think the name of the game was something about 'Puzzle' or 'Bubble', or 'Garden', I think, or at least the game had something to do with those concepts. When I think of that game, those words come to my mind.

Ok, and it was a series of puzzles, it had something to do with gardens, so on the first phase there was a circle formed by different objects: flowers, bugs, leaves, ladybugs, butterflies, I think, and things like that.
You had to rotate the objects of the circle.I am pretty sure of that.
I think the aim of the game was to rotate in the correct order so that you formed a series like the example they gave to you.
The thing is that you had to put everything in order, or to reproduce a given series of objects, by rotating, and then you completed the first level and pass to the following one.
I also think that the following phase was more difficult and the setting was completely different.

Does it ring a bell??? :D

There was another game about mice and cheese and cats. The setting was very dark, and there were many mice of different colours: mainly purple, yellow, red, green.
They came out of somewhere at the top of the screen, in single file, they walked and you had to get a cheese or something like that. I think there were brown stairs or something like that. I'm not sure if cats were involved and you had to avoid them too.

Please, if it rings a bell and someone knows which games I'm talking about, I would be REALLY GREATFUL!!
I want SO BADLY to find this games!!
Or at least their names, so ANY CLUE will be useful!! Just a word, a memory, or ANYTHING that helps me to keep on searching :)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! :)

I think that game might be Sly Cooper...

The cat might've been a raccoon, and it is gray.
As for a sword, he has more of a sickle/scythe.

And you have to swing across things and climb and stuff. It really does sound like Sly Cooper.
