Hey guys, would really appreciate some help finding the name of this game I've been thinking of for years!!!

Its a 2D side scroller game from the 90s. I remember you could go an alien race/tribe which would float around and discover new areas from a sort of portal system. You could collect these relics/artifacts/orb things and build certain types of buildings. You could create a warrior class by sending your worker aliens in to the warrior building and could also fight other tribes of floaty aliens!

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!!
Here is a pic to help, I'm starting to question this games existence. And my own.

I'm pretty sure this is "The Tone Rebellion"

Hey guys, I'm only saying this from extremely vague memory. In this game you have to escape from somewhere and there are robots that you shoot and there's a chef in a cafeteria asking why you're there

Real time strategy game, came out around 2004 (+-2 years). Now that I think of it it was kinda similar to Starcraft.

Set in future, there was a Terran faction (bad guys I think), some kind of alien faction (again 'bad guys' I think but with a twist or 2) and your faction that was also human.

Only surface battles but there were no buildings, if I remember correctly drop zones were used.

I don't think the game had multiplayer or skirmish options, only campaign but as with all of the previous I'm not sure about that. This is only how I remember it 10 years later.

I remember thinking how the graphics looked great back then :)

If you'd give me a list of 50 games I'd probably recognize it so if anything comes to your mind just put it here. Thanks!

Was it Earth 2160? That had several human factions and one alien.

I guess it had buildings though...

I used to play a PC strategy game in the 2002-2005. the game was all about the three selected robots with armors and weapons and walkin through a big area like a forest and destroy all the machines and buildings, some of them were resouce buildings. the game looks like an age of empires not exactly. difference is for robots instead of humans. the color of those robots were red with a green bar on them showing their life. the same bars show on the enimiy robots and their buildings and base as well denoted their life.
Thanks.. :)

Commodore 64: I remember a part of this game where in the beginning, there is like a 5 minute cut scene albeit poor quality to todays standards. There was a guy waving down a space ship and it took place on another planet. I don't remember the game-play at all, just the beginning. Any input would help.

I was thinking eariler about all the games i used to play and one came to mind that i used to love, but i cannot for the life of me remember what it was so I wondered if anyone else gets this same memory issue and who knows Might end up finding some classics we forgot long ago.

My one is a PC game It was a car game of sorts driving around and arena leaving a coloured trail behind you and you killed other players by getting them to drive into the trail you leave behind. I think the cars and arena were mostly black (or at least the version i had was) and the trail and 'walls' coming from the cars were really bright colours depending on team etc. Like red, orange, green, blue.

Well there you go, What games have you forgotten, Hopefully we can rediscover old games we thought long lost!
This sounds like Tron ,1982. There is a mini game that sounds like you described.

Firstly, this thread really brings the childhood back. You all PS1 gurus are pretty cool connoisseurs. And to that user who pointed out "Blam! Machienhead": THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU REALLY MUCH, whoever you are.

...so it's a PS1 game about racing battles, futuristic, happening on different planets. At first you choose a vehicle out of 2 available (you needed to buy the others). I always took the one with six wheels. Then you could upgrade it by buying diffrent parts, three grades in total. To earn money you had to shoot other racers, collect bags of gold or come first. I remember the final boss had 2 forms.
Awesome game.

Now if anyone could identify it.
Holy hell, I found it. It's called Red Asphalt and I recommend it to all of ya.

And if it's not Tron, it's going to be hard to find out exactly what game it was, because that Light Cycle minigame has been cloned so many times over the decades that there's no telling which clone you might have played. It's like what Pacman would have been if there were more clones than official versions.

Just in case the "a" in the title is throwing off anyone's searches, it's actually Ghost in the Shell. I've never played it, but it's based on the anime of the same name.

I'm gonna be confident and say V2000.

Hey guys!

Me and my sister used to play this PC Game on Windows 95/98 and we haven't been on it for over 10 years. We really want to know what is was called!!! We had a gateway computer. Hoping you guys could help :)

There's some sort of dialogue at the beginning, maybe with the captain/commander. Anyway, you get sent out of a bigger spaceship into a smaller one, something along those lines.

You go onto this desert terrain planet/island. There's black and yellow spaceships there too! Some sort of dinosaur/alien creatures as-well attack you!

Ok i think that should be enough information, please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
