Hoping that my description can jog someone's memory.

It was on a floppy disk. The game was a 2d top-down spaceship combat arcade game. Each player got to select from several different space ships each with their own characteristics. The goal was to fly around the gamefield and kill your opponent. Kinda like a fancier version of Atari's Combat.

I only recall 3 of the ships in detail. The first was the small circle. It could move very fast and it's weapon was an auto-targeting short-range laser. The ship had a secondary ability that allowed it to warp to a random part of the gamefield.

The 2nd kinda looked like a Klingon bird of prey. It was purple and it's weapon was a short range flame thrower. The secondary ability was a cloaking device.

The last ship i remember acted like the carrier from starcraft. instead of direct fire, this ship would fire out interceptors that targeted the enemy.

There were several other ships, but i don't remember what they were like. When i played this, it could do 2 players (each on a side of the keyboard). I think it was a DOS game.

If this is familiar to anyone, let me know. I'd love to be able to track down this game.

Thanks.
I'm not entirely sure bit it sounds a bit like the fighting module in <link=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_Winds>Solar Winds
That looks a lot like it. Did Solar Winds ever have a PVP mode? Wikipedia says no.

Hey Guys
I have one game in my mind which i can't forget for more than 10 years.

It was sort of flash-window game when i used to have Windows 98 or 2000.

The game was like puzzle, camera is at the top. You move your character across the floor (like labyrinth) but you can walk only on fixed coloured tiles, in order to move to a different tile, you had to step on a specific tile which had two colours in it.
Probably you were a thief or something like that, but i don't remember for sure.

Thanks in advance

I'm trying to remember the name if a game that I played on my PC in the early 90's. It was on a floppy disc. It started with a little man standing beside a tree and he ventured (ran) through the forest collecting gems. I think there were about 4 different gems and to collect them you had to do different tasks...each getting harder to do. I can't remember what the tasks were and I don't remember anyone chasing him or fighting with him..except maybe when he was about to collect a gem. I know this is not much, but thought I'd try here. Thank you.

I found it, but I'll leave my question in case anyone else wants to know. The name os the game was The Legend of Kyrandia...with the boy being Brandon.

I am trying to remember a game i would play in the mid 90's.
I remember it was on my Windows 95 machine, so I am assuming DOS. I want to say the name was "Frosty's Vacation" or something

Anyway, you played as a snowman, and in each level you were in a city, or on a beach trying to get your Hat scarf, mittens etc.

There was a yellow snowman that was your villain, you hit the space bar to throw snowballs at him, but if he ran into you, you would melt and die.

Hmm, I don't think so, but it was a while ago.
Sorry, I couldn't be of more help, but at least now you have somewhere closer to start from.

The multidirectional shooters article at the bottom of that solar winds wikipedia link sounds promising.

I went through every game on that list and there are several that look close, but are not the game i'm thinking about. The closest is The P'Radikus Conflict.

Thanks through, there are a lot of games on that list that i want to try. :)

Can someone help me with a MS-DOS game of 1997?!
I don't remember very well, but is a MS-DOS game, and this game is totally in 2D, it have ladder to go up and down to explorer the level. For pass another level, you need reach a door (i don't know if it's a portal or something like that)
I think i remember something that you need is destroy walls with bombs and can be used in enemies, another way to pass by enemies with an bow and arrows to attack. The door I mentioned or whatever is, is locked, and you need a key in this level to open, after open, turning into green color.
It's can be crazy, but thats i remember from the game i'm play when as a child with my uncle, he not remember the name and me neither. Thanks for help everyone!

I have this game. It's pixelated and has a set up kind of like final fantasy. Your from another world and you have a tail. You don't have any memories of your old life. I remember it saying stars or something like that in the title. I played it on a psp but it was emulated. Please help me!

It doesn't really have Star in the name I remembered that at some point, you did go to space. I only THINK it was emulated it was about 5-6 years ago when I played it. It's like a sandbox where the map is like zelda kinda...

PLEASE HELP ME! I CAN'T SLEEP!

Looking for a game, early 2000s I believe.

Browser game you played as an "avatar" you could customize, you had a building you could build inside and play music others would party with you. You could also join other people's "buildings". each one was customizeable, you could change the tiles, couches, etc. Low graphics, above view fixed camera like in Diablo

Ok, so what I remember of the game:

- Sidescroller
- Keyboard control
- 16 bit (?)
- Bundled with a Windows 95 machine, specifically a Gateway, circa 1994.
- Like Indiana Jones, but I'm pretty sure it was not specifically branded as such. The guy had a rope/lasso.
- I probably only played the first one or two levels because I was young, but the character jumped up pillars of earth (?) in a cave (?).
- The goal of the game was collecting items. Can't remember the items.
- Lots of black and dark green. Not many bright colors.

If I saw it, I'm sure I would remember it.
Does anyone have any idea what this game might be?

Hi, all. There's a game the name of which I cannot remember, and my dad can't remember it either.

It's a Snake-type game, only it was a little train engine that would leave a track behind it as you moved it around the screen to pick up stuff and you had to avoid running into the track. It's not Vlak, but it's similar to it. It was in either the late 80s or very early 90s. My dad says the computer we had at that time was an x286 CPU with a 30mb disk on it. The monitor was just green on black, so the game was very simplistic in its graphics; one color only.

I have done SO much Googling and looking at the Internet Archive and MobyGames and other old computer game websites, and I just cannot find the exact game that I'm remembering.

Thanks in advance for any info you can give!

I have a game I am trying to get the name to. It was on PS1, and in it, you play as a cop/detective in the city, where a terrorist attack occurs. I never got to beat the game, the cd was so scratched up. I always had to turn it off at a cut-scene where your character is running up the street somewhere. If anyone can help me with the name, I will feel better.
There are various games with this plot, try

I have an old game question.. the details are vague.. There was a game that I played back in the 90's on a SNES or sega maybe.. The character could float on a hoverboard, and in one level he was in a rainforest/jungle type environment with oversized brown tiki heads that could shoot at you, and you were supposed to collect gemstones. I believe the character was blue also.. I looked at MegaManX but it wasn't the right one.. Any ideas?

Ok, In the mid/late 90s I used to have a demo for this PC game that was like a 4X-ish alt. fantasy and I cannot, since losing the disc, remember what the name of it was.

There were three races. One I can't remember; one was a purple race that used psionic powers, and were kind of snake like; and the other was a green race that, as I recall, were not too dissimilar from the hulk. You basically build buildings and could change your guys into different forms in those buildings; and as you progressed you could improve to and/or build more advanced buildings. It's so generic top-down strategy now that I describe it that it's probably gone for good, but this seems like a worthy punt.

Thanks in advance to anyone with a better memory than I.

I remember this game I played on Windows 98, but I cant remember the name of the game. My memory of the game is extremely vague so bare with the lack of description. The only things I remember was that you played this dude on a 2-D platform and I think it was maybe an adventure/puzzle game too. I also remember a certain level(or maybe it was the whole game. Hey, I did say there wouldnt be a lot of description :p) that had these ice tiles that you slid on, kinda like an Ice Block puzzle without the blocks. Thats about it. Now, I do remember the game wasnt played on a disk or CD that I remember. I believe that it was already downloaded or installed to the hard drive and I could just access it from the desktop. Ive been trying to remember this game for about 5 years now! Im sure if I heard the title Id remember what it was. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
