There is this one game i played ages ago (about 12 years ago, though i have no idea when it was made or what console it was on). I remember the story having the 3 main characters from journey to the west ( you could pick the monkey frog or pig). It was a 2D side scroller game with monsters. I remember one of the first bosses being a big panda using a huge pan as its weapon. I also remember the last boss being a purple/pinkish robot that could teleport in the fights. Another notable boss was a robot car in a circle map and a vampire castle. Any of these ring a bell to any of you? Thank you.

I'm looking for a quite old video game for PC; as I recall - it was a rail shooting game (players use mouse to aim and shoot at approaching enemies); also the levels itself were static, means, you don't move around the space, you just see a static-fixed-space and enemies come from sides of the screen or from different areas of the static level. The game art style reminds me of Heretic (though different game genres) / Street Fighter.

You get to choose from a few heroes; you also can co-op (you will get two target aims to shoot); when you shoot some enemies, an icon of better weapons drop, and if you take a shot at them, your weapons upgrades.

There were also bosses. And as I recall there were a few episodes (maybe three as well) which had a number of levels. I remember one episode (or a level) being chinese-themed, something like the movie "Big Trouble in Little China"; also there was a level on a moving train. You can see the train which is static, but the landscape around the train wagon is running at high speed.
Anyone has an idea what kinda game this is?...

(The HUD may look something like this)

One last game I am trying to find which I have not been able to. I think the game is a 90s game (or early 2000s but I don't think its that recent) and I played it on the PC.

The game is top down. I think it is a Spanish game. You start with a person wearing red I think and you have stone platforms and all you have to do is jump from one platform to the other to get to the end of the level or game and the game scrolled forward the further forward you jumped and you could jump sidewas, but your character didn't turn, they stayed looking forward when jumping sideways. When you had to get across a platform, you ran rather than walked.

I think you may have to press shift key to jump. If you missed a jump, you fell and either lost a life or had to restart from the beginning, I forget which as I don't remember if there was lives in the game. You could also could jump across to the left or right of the screen in some areas that had platforms to land on, and when you did, the screen moved left or right to reveal more of the area like a few more platforms to jump on or a black space to fall into, if you jumped into it.

I think when you fell the player made a "aaahh" male sound, but I am not 100% sure on that. There may have also been dust that kicked up as you ran from area to area, again not 100% if that is in the game or not.

There was also music in the game, maybe midi music.

This is more or less how I remember the game (minus the jumping character which I don't exactly remember how they looked, but they did wear read, nearly sure they did) I don't know if the colors are accurate as the platforms were rocks and may have been more greyish, except the black which is fine as it was supposed to be a dark abyss you could fall into.

Okay, so im not really expecting anyone to actually have ever played this game before, but you never know : its a space exploration game, where u get a ship, that can be upgraded, im pretty sure u could have multiple different crew members, there was a normal flight mode where u could cruise around and checkout planets, and a warp-type mode, where the screen would change look and your ship would move super quick through what looked like an alternate dimension etc. i distinctly remember the game started out in the solar system as we know it, at earth, and i remember visiting pluto first, and sending down a probe ship thingy to scan it for minerals, and then coming across some crazy alien dude, who wanted to chat with me. I know it isn't much to go on, and ive already managed to checkout starflight, megatraveller, it was neither, and am at somewhat of a loss, i was playing this game around mid-late nineties, on a very early pc, would have been a first gen pentium or something, as i remember all the other pc's in the house were pentium 133 or bigger, and this one was ancient in comparison to those speed demons! the game was top down in flight mode, and it changed to like a portrait screen whenever u encountered another alien/person etc to chat to, with dialogue options arrayed below. i think i was 6-7 at the time i was playing this, so my memory of this game has had many years to erode way, but in the last 5yrs or so ive had a casual search, i cant seem to find anything, lots of things similar, but not quite it. if anyone can even throw a ballpark guess in there, id be happy to chase it down and see if its what im after! many thanks in advance. i should probably also mention that it was a DOS game, as i remember my cousin having to launch it for me as i couldnt remember the correct string i needed to type to launch it.
The game is called Star Control 2 - Urquan masters. It was an old game, but one of the original creators remade it for new computers. You can download it here. http://sc2.sourceforge.net/

I need help finding a game, it was a game that me and my dad played so much on the ps1. Recently I wanted to surprise him because we're trying to get him to play video games. It was a over head shooter in spaceships and that differed this from other games was that at the end of stage boss the camera would go into a third person view, as far as I can remember. This game was released on the ps1.
Could it be Descent? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_%28video_game%29

OK! I have this game:

- Starts you off as a soldier in a squad that are raiding some facility. The gameplay consists of cover and shooting. Each section, or map is like an interactive panel. After you clear the section from enemies you are given choices on how to proceed.
- There's some windows that pop-up, in a comic style, when, for example, you are surprised by the enemy, and you have to react accordingly in order not to die. Or if you want to use some console, or have to input some code.
- I remember the game goes like this (shooting your way through) for a while until you're captured. Then the game then switches a little bit to a point-and-click adventure game (still with the pop-up style panels to interact with stuff), where you're figuring your way out of that facility.

I remember at some point you have a cybernetic enhanced monkey blocking your way. You had to get a banana to bait him and shoot him. (I remember this part best because I never got through it).

- I think the name of the game starts with "aRa" or "aR" and then a sequence of numbers...

Does anyone know about this game?

My one is an old RTS game I think. PC, kinda like bandits vs either army or machines. You would do the usual RTS stuff, build up a base then kill the other players. I remember one side as like greasers/bandits with cars (think borderlands raiders) but really old graphics and the top down view, anyone got any ideas?

I'm looking for a PlayStation 1 3rd person view horror game where you start in a cemetery as a zombie/mummy (you get out of the grave and there's that white tape hanging from you) and you have an axe. You encounter various demonic/evil things. That's all I remember..

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you could help me out with this game:

1) I remember playing it in the late 90s-early 00's? It was a 3D game

2) Protagonist was a childlike alien who had spikey hair

3) It was set on a beach with other aliens in beachwear, some had fat bellies and were sunbathing or in the water and you could jump on their bellies

4) There were baby aliens who were building sandcastles on the beach and would cry and hit you if you destroyed their sandcastles

5) I remember if you swam too far out you'd get eaten by a shark and sometimes you'd have to cross a bridge with flying fish jumping over it who would bite you

6) If I remember correctly, there was a mountain on the beach you could climb... And the saving points were computers or something like that?!

Trying to remember this game has been bugging me for the past week so I really hope someone could help me! :) Thanks!

Ok, 10 years ago, I think, I had a really weird game. Maybe it was role-playing, but I don't remember. First, I think the player was in the valley, with green hills etc. and the main character was something like a man with octopus tentacles and he was blue. Then, I walked with him around that hilly valley and saw something like a bat and that man said "You seem familiar.". That's all I remember from the beginning, but there was also a magic inside the game, portals and stuff. I've been looking for this game for over 2 years and I still didn't find it, but then I found this thread. Can someone please help me with this one? :(

So, there is a game that i played a few years ago, and the closest genre i could think of would be an adventure game, like Syberia. It starts off with you playing the role of a boy in a cursed town, and you do missions for the towns people. One point that stuck out to me is there was a fairy in a cage hanging from the tree in the center of town, with guards deciding on whether to kill her. there is also a a magic shop with a transmutation circle on the floor, and an armor shop across the street that has a secret basement. the look of the town was medieval, was also a mill on a hill that had a huge dog guarding it.

thats all i can remember from it. if anyone has played it and remembers what its called, please let me know!
Check out

WorldSpiral - Liath (1998)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueE_kVErtiM

very similar to Syberia in graphics and gameplay but with a boy...
Thats not it. the graphics for it were a lot better, and it had 3D-ish characters. its an american game, i know that much.
To me, should be then

Everlight - Of Magic & Power (2008)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nrtyzp_sJd4

but it was made in Germany...are you pretty sure it was made in the USA? When I provide a link it doesn't necessarily mean that the game was made in the country of the corresponding language of the video, the game could be released in many languages..the videos are just for illustration.
you have proved me wrong. that is indeed the game i was looking for. thank you! so very much!

Hello and i hope someone can help me...
I'm looking for a game for 2-3 years now..it's an old PC game from maybe the 90's (played it on win 95 or 98). When you start it you select a race that represent different coloured floating creatures and each race has some "abilities" like growth, speed, def, atk etc.. The game is in a 2D enviroment (side-scrolling) and you command the floating creatures with the mouse to pickup items or battle foes to advance to the next linked screen...i remember that picking up items and bringing them back to base was very important so you can spawn other creatures. The goal was to pickup key items from different linked screens so you can finish the game. You had to battle the other races while solving puzzles to get the key items and resources.
