i have a old game dont remember it was nes or snes or sega but you fly and have to flying through things like a puzzle or something with flying and u have to fit the object right into the item etc
It's not a whole lot to go on. I've tried to make a keyword search but haven't been able to produce anything that could match that. Is there any other detail you can think of?Aaron Sweeney said:Nice to see this thing exists, I have endlessly searching for a game I used to sometimes play on the Primary School PC's, back in the 90's, From what I recall, a black background, a Red Maze or tight path, where you navigate an Egg, or egg like object to the goal.
Can't remember if it was times, or you couldn't touch the sides, or what, but I'm sure I had to frantically use the arrow keys to move and recall it being difficult in later levels.
does any of you guru's know what i'm talking about??
This is my 3rd time posting this....
Sorry can't help with name but sounds very similar to a game I've been searching for, mine was arcade though, prob just earlier than 1990, where the 'worlds' where planets (with alien names) you could select (no more than about 10 and not unlocked by completing them, you could choose any from the outset if I'm not mistaken) They all had their own different types of alien to fight and definitely a bit of flying before side scrolling on foot. Wasn't even gonna post due to how little I remembered but your quote reminded me and thought it was worth mentioning the mere whiff of scraps I can recall.Vishonov said:Last bump, hopefully someone knows :-/Vishonov said:BumpingVishonov said:Hi guys,
I'm looking for a computer game, early to late 90s.
The game was a mashup of side-scrolling space fighting a-la Zero Wing and Shoot'em up from a diagonal point of view.
You started off every "world" with space fighting and then you land in different levels and like continue by foot.
Thanks in advance,
-A.

Think there was a space theme to it and each level size was about twice what was on screen and as you progressed you couldn't go back so anything you didn't pick up was lost. Screen might actually have scrolled automatically (albeit slowly) so you needed to keep up with it and not get trapped / run out of bombs and thus be dead
There were various baddies to avoid but that's about all I can remember so I'll be might impressed and grateful if anyone has played it.
If wasn't the one suggested above by Mutant1988, maybeAaron Sweeney said:Nice to see this thing exists, I have endlessly searching for a game I used to sometimes play on the Primary School PC's, back in the 90's, From what I recall, a black background, a Red Maze or tight path, where you navigate an Egg, or egg like object to the goal.

Although it's not that (the colors weren't so simple, they were quite what you would see in Trine 1, or pretty close to that) it's very similar! It may have been a sort of more recent clone that apparently no one remembers, not even myselfdiablo rules said:a shot in the dark here, but trySaul Raein said:2nd and last bump, if anyone knows please give me a sign... the game was lend to me when I was a kid by a dear friend who passed last month; that's why I really would have enjoyed replaying in, in her memory. Thanks to anyone who read and thought about it.
Saul Raein said:Hi, I'm looking for an old(ish) PC game (DOS but more probably Win95/98).
It is a platformer with a tiny wizard, but it is NOT Hocus Pocus. Though that is the most similar thing in the universe I guess. The first levels are in a nocturnal setting with oversized frogs, high grasses, maybe the moon in the parallax background. The plot starter, if I remember correctly, is a pretty stereotypical abducted fiance/princess/whatever related to the protagonist.

That's "Out of Order" (2003). The game is freeware too, so it's easy to find.Giwrgos Kaloudis said:I used to play a game on my old computer. It was cartoonish 2d and puzzle adventure, I think the icon had a guy with green shirt(the main character). The game started by showing us his room and something happened i think his mum or something called him and when you clicked the door handle, it fell of on th ground. You clicked around to get items and try to put the handle on. When you did it , and opened the door, you were to diferent place. Later you see aliens and other things like robots and stuff. I never finished it... You know the feelling.. Please help...
No, from what I recall, it was much more basic than that, controlling a rather plain egg, the path/maze was so tight that you could only move left right up down, but the path was just big enough to fit the egg, I'm it was timed though and I always failed after a few levels, I remember it was on an old PC and only could play it in school possibly early 90's.Mutant1988 said:It's not a whole lot to go on. It's not a problem re-posting questions though, as long as you don't post it multiple times per page. And I know it's frustrating to not get an answer, but sometimes no one knows what game it could be based on the clues provided.
Was it this game?
