i played once when i was like...10 years old? a game that is like Baldur's Gate, i remember that the character was kinda of a asshole xD i also remember that in the beginning you had to burn some thing to pass to the next area, and there was a monster after this part that could suck your life, there was a part with two dragons that were very tough, ithink they killed a family inside a house and even bombs were not very effective i remember that this was the first game that i learned what a "walktrought" was for :p

Thanks for the replys, Its not them I have checked, although when you read what titan quest is about it does sound really similar, you do go along and meet at least a couple of people from greek mythology. Its not a 3D game though, its all sprites and I just remember these Satyr's/Fauns that had bad animations that just kept killing me lol

I remember playing Math to the Real World around the same time as this game, as well as Roller Coaster Tycoon.. but I also remember thinking that I preferred Sim Theme Park to Roller Coaster Tycoon so it is possible my school just had old games in stock... still, it must be from 1997-2002. Hrm...

I've been spending so much of my time trying to remember this game that it's starting to become an obsession o_o No listing of educational games has it, at least, with what search terms I can think of.
Do you remember if it was cartoony like Monkey Island or more realistic like The Riddle of Master Lu?

Also was it an adventure game or just mini games?

Also was it on mac or pc?
PC for sure! It was more realistic.

It was a whole game with its own CD, stacked in its box in the class room with the other "educational" games (granted... they had Roller Coaster Tycoon right next to it. ha :))

I wish I could remember more about it! I've been searching in all the ways I can think of with no luck.
Were all of the puzzles science related and focused on education? If not maybe it was a regular adventure game released around that time.
Could it have been one of the Myst games? They have all sorts of puzzles and I could see a school having one of them.

I do not think the rest of the puzzles were science related, but alas I do not remember. I will start looking at adventure games from that time and seeing if any look like it. It wasn't Myst though as there were no animated movements while you traveled. I wish I knew what this type of "movement" in the game was called so I could explain it better.

I don't remember there being any other human buildings either, except maybe a faint memory of one broken down shack (like an old researcher's hut or something. Um.)

Ok! Maybe this will help you help me! :D I have drawn a sketch of one of the things I can remember. While I am not sure if this part of the path branched or not, this is kind-of sort of a super rough sketch of part of the game. The bird would jump down from the nest as indicated in the blue arrows, squawk at you almost annoyidly, and then waddle off to the right. The red X's are areas you could click to move to the next "area"/screen of path.

Image: http://www.tiikoni.com/tis/view/?id=e95cafa

The green eclipses are just there to represent jungle growth and the hole in the left is the bird's nest. The bird only appeared when you entered this area from this direction and it was empty from the other direction.

Okay, so It's been so freaking long I can't hardly remember anything about this game.
From what I remember, it was on the PC. It was a side scrolling game sort of like Prince of Persia, set in middle ages. The main character is framed for some kind of crime, and the first bit is about him escaping. He's armed with a dagger, I think, and the guards have spears, so you have to run away since you can't get close. The villain was the Earl or something. I remember that the main character goes to the sewers of the city, where he encounters puddles of slime on the ground, they's extend a tentacle of slime and attack the player (I believe he's armed with a dagger), and if you tried to jump over them, they'd extend to the roof, engulfing you, stay there for a moment, then sink back to the ground revealing a pile of your bones. Additionally, there were crushing ceiling traps, pitfalls, and other things... I think that the character's health is indicated with clovers or green leaves? Also, a line at the end of the game sticks out in my head, where the villain says "Prepare to Die" and your character, snarky as he is, says "Oh, prepare to die yourself."

These are the only details about this game I can remember.

This is more or less copy/pasted from an earlier post of mine, with a couple more details added. Still haven't been able to find a damn thing on it myself.

Hello to everyone! I am trying to remember an indie soccer game, which I used to play some years ago (7-8, I think). It had cartoony graphics, with players having big heads, and you could control a team (of four or five, if I remember well), which at first started with a dirt plain for a stadium, with two rocks as goalposts. Eventually you were able to upgrade the stadium to an actual stadium, and this was not only aesthetically better, but gave you more money for upgrading the stadium and team even more. Yeah, your team had a fanbase which would expand by winning games, bringing in profit. There is a slight risk of me merging memories from two different games, I hope this is not the case. Please remind me of this great game. Thanks in advance!

I am trying to remember a game that involved zombies. The main character is a kid i believe, and the zombies would lurch forward and yell brains. You had to find keys to get into a house and there was a yard maze. It was part of a game pack. It would have been from the 90's or maybe even the earliest part of the new century. I'm having a hard time remembering what perspective it is in. Any help is appreciated.

Okay so thank you to anyone that can help me out!!

First thing I remember is it was on the PS1, there was split screen but the screen wasn't split per se, both players were on the screen at all times I believe. You'd be in a spaceship/space fighter jet?? It was a fast paced game and you flew around and shot other ships and dodged shots that came towards you. At the end of levels there were huge boss ships I think. I know it's not much to go on but that's all I remember. Thanks to anyone that can at least point me in the right direction!
If it was a side scroller it might be gradius gaiden. two player in that was fun. I used to play gradius iii on the snes all the time so i was excited to play it on ps1.
Okay it was exactly like Gradius Gaiden but it was 3d and not a side scroller. I think it was 3rd person view from the back

Back in the early 2000s i rented a game the was (from my vague memories) a 3d platformer that was set in a jungle area in the first level and the second level was a snowy mountain. The only other thing i can remember is that you rode a mine cart to get between these two areas. Sorry if that's not enough.

Hey guys, I can't remember the name of the game I used to play on Apple 2 console, I think.
I remember playing prince of Persia 2 there.

Anyways, the game is a 2D side view platformer. You were playing as a little guy that shoot some sort of rockets into enemies. I remember one specific enemy there, where you had too shoot off both of his eyes before killing him. You had to shoot them off from 2 directions, then hit the body to full kill it. (It looked something like this.. http://gyazo.com/da9a495b5c6c236de03ab855c0d297dc )). I also remember that you could freely choose to which map to go, and go back to it again if you died. I really don't remember much more of it, but all you did there was shoot those creatures with a rocket. I also remember a picture of cheese planet inhabited with snails. No idea how that goes in that game...

There's a game that has been plaguing me for years. I played it on a family friend's computer sometime between the years 2000 and 2008.

It was a point-and-click shooter (literally, your cursor was a crosshair) and your screen stood still as these mechs/robots appeared across your screen shooting at you from different areas, jumping in and out of cover. It had really cool music, and three distinct levels - one of which was a warehouse setting.

I went back to ask that family friend of mine about the game, and he said he couldn't remember the name, just that it might've been freeware from that version of Windows (though neither of us know which version of Windows it was).

Every couple of months I scour the internet in search for answers, but searches on 'point-and-click shooter', 'mech shooter', 'warehouse robot shooter', 'Windows 2000 freeware games', 'Windows XP freeware games', etc., come up with nothing.

HELP!!

Try "Area 51" (1995).

If it's not the game, you may want to search for e.g. "Lightgun shooters" and browse those.

Hi guys,

I remember playing this game around 94-95' or something on the PC.

It was Chinese/Taiwanese or something side-scrolling beat'em up with the word "West" in it I think.

You could choose from three characters: two that I can't remember what they were and one was a pig I think. They were armed with traditional weapons I think, except the pig that was carrying a pitchfork or something and could bump into baddies with his butt (like flying towards them with his butt).

Anyone has any idea what that game's name might be?

That's "Journey to the West", aka "West Adventure" (1994).

Sup, i wonder if you guys can help me find this really old game that i played when i was a child. You were some sort of black haired soldier or cop on a blue armor with a energy sword (lightsaber like), it was a futuristic game, on the first level you started on a ship and then you dropped down on a chaotic city in destruction full of robots to destroy. It was a 2d sidescrolling game, i played when i was a child on a old windows 95 (or 98) computer. And only played the demo of it. I dont remember the name...

More details: Asked my father about it and he said the computer was an old ibm aptiva with an windows 95 OS and its hard drive was less than a gigabyte... Also we think i played that game on 1996 or 1997, so i think it could be a Dos or a windows 95 game. I remember the controls were really simple, we used the keyboard arrows to walk, probably space to swing the energy sword.

It's not Area 51, but it definitely plays similar to Area 51.
