What you're describing definitely sounds like an early game from the "roguelike" genre...but I honestly couldn't be more specific than that.

You could be thinking of Rogue itself, or an early version of Nethack. If it's well-known, it's likely to be on this list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronology_of_roguelike_video_games

*edit* Sorry, just noticed your second post. I can't think of any roguelikes with the image of the room in the middle of the screen, but it might still be one of those games.
yes, that's what I thought in the first place, I checked many roguelike games and found nothing...that's the reason what I asked about the graphics because most of the roguelikes games have pretty basic graphics.
I don't know if I would class it as a roguelike. I played it long before I heard the term however, so maybe. It was only ever the one floor - the map was randomised, you either beat the boss and won the game, or died. I suppose given the randomised map it is sort of one.
I've been checking many games and none seems to be the right one. I've checked Roguelike, D&D, RPG, games in many databases and I'm fairly sure it's not a commercial game. It should be a shareware (or freeware) Dungeon Crawler game. I've checked the most obvious shareware games and none rings a bell. The last thing I'll try is a (dreaded) list that I have with around 4,000 rare shareware games!,(including the ones that you said, jetpack, balloon challenge, etc).. god.. the bad news is that the "list" is well...just a list, no year, no genre, no picture, just names...so I will trust in my lucky star and pick up the names that somewhat rings a bell and google them. It will take some time, so I will tell you when I finish.

Hey, how's it going?
Well, I want so badly to know the name of this PC game I once played.

The game is a Third Person 3D game. It had zombies. The protagonist was a girl and she had like guns and stuff. But also a flamethrower, I reckon.

Well, there were BARRELS, LOTS OF BARRELS. All I could remember of the game is that it is night time, there were barrels, you have to cross some sort of bridge (jump across a broken bridge) and there were zombies..

And oh yeah, all took place in a graveyard. It was kinda like an Arcade game (which asks you to insert coins, I think).

So, what's the name? D:

P.S Here are the hints - cemetery, girl, zombies, bridges, barrels, arcade game, explosions.

I'm looking for a game I remember playing at my classmate's place in 2001 (or late 2000). I tried searching for it so many times but never got anything, I started thinking this game doesn't really exist and I dreamt it lol.
Basically, it was 3D, first person action/rpg? and it was kinda trippy. The protagonist was a girl all dressed in leather or latex idk, full body black suit (idk if you could choose another character, I think not), kinda reminded me catowman. In this game I remember no plot whatsover, just a lot of jumping, running, sliding down. It all seemed fastpaced and it felt like it was in space/some other planet/spaceship, locations changed a lot. I think it started off at a spaceship, I think there was some flying too, but there was def a lot of running around some deserty/Mars kinda area.
It felt like this game was cut or was a demo. But I don't remember anything else and I can't find it so maybe it's not even a real game lol.

My guess is Heavy Metal FAKK 2:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOTGWN88PfA

And she does have a very leather/latex outfit, might not be featured in that video though (Possibly slightly NSFW):

Edit: You said first person though, so then it might not be it. Still, it came to mind when you wrote "leather/Latex outfit".

Many thanks for all your help with this! One possible alternative route is to try and locate a record of the games that were on the disc I had - like I said, I believe it was called 300 favourite games or something similar, but couldn't find mention of it anywhere last time I tried to. It contained a whole bunch of shareware/freeware games, in general sorted by categories (Sports, Simulation, etc). Game itself was essentially a menu/list, had a mainly blue and vaguely gold colour scheme I believe.

EDIT: If your list is a link somewhere, I'm happy to trawl through it for you!

Seems the thread is still plenty alive so I don't feel bad dropping this in here...does anyone remember a 2D game - I'm pretty sure it was for Mac (old Mac, well before OS X) - had a yellow blob that you controlled and you would go through a maze eating things and dodging things that tried to kill you. Anyone remember this? I know it's a pretty vague description but, to be fair, I was pretty young when I played it.
try to remember any other thing, because it sounds like some version of Pacman or a Pacman's clone... and they are many
I always thought it had 'Blob' in the name or description. It's definitely not Pacman - it was much newer than Pacman. There were all kinds of obstacles - mines, traps - and I wish I could remember more.

Need helping here!!!
Can't remember the name but it came out in the 2000's on PC.
It was a mystery solving game, doing puzzles, cooking casseroles and quiche.
You would play both the sister and brother. They were sent to
(I think they were brunettes or redheads, can't remember exactly)
their grandmother/aunt/relative who lived or owned a mansion or a hotel like Bed & Breakfast
and had weird guest (monsters/creatures) living in the place. You solve puzzles, riddles, math problems, memory games.
I can remember only one and it was where they you had to cook quiche. But you had to cook up
other things too. You also had to go around collecting/trading items for objects to complete certain tasks.

I'm trying to track down these two games but i dont remember much about them. I'm hoping with this tiny bit of information someone can help (since last time it worked, and i still cant believe it did)

i cant remember much but it was kind of racist, like that was how it was ment to be. Um. I remember one part the guy returns back to his tribe or something and it was burned down by soliders and the woman solider there didnt know that, that was what the other did, like i dont think she was part of it and she was a good person You went back and forth between different characters i think. One was the solider woman? But i know you played as the boy from the tribe (i dont think he was an adult ) the boy had a younger friend a b oo y too and he died when the tribe village thing got burned down

OH! I remember you came across a tribe or something that rode.. insects or dragons or some weird creatures?
-------
Game 2

It was sort of a western (like cowboys i think?) style rpg game and the characters all had guns I remeber one character named Jet?, he had white hair? and was the typical broody character. The begining the girl and the guy (jet) was on A train. She was in the train and he was underneath, sneaking on it

Sorry it might not be really helpful but.. im hoping someone can help me track them down u.u

Edit: ok just ignore this, i found the name of both of them, finally xD lol yay

You're welcome. I've already tried to find the disc and wasn't a fruitful task..for instance check out this one which seem very promising

https://youtu.be/kG7LnnhJaAs?list=PLpaRxBWYEPiLw1oxgza1_mr3PisZmMRzj

I've checked only the D&D, RPG, Adventure games of the list of videos.. I'm thinking that maybe was more like a strategy game. Check it out perhaps you can find something. About the list that I mentioned, I've found another more complete which now includes years check it out also

http://pastebin.com/pWPBMUMK

In the meantime, I will continue looking for other possibilities.

EDIT: Sorry, I've just noticed that the above list includes also commercial games. Here's the first list with only shareware games

I am looking for a very specific game, but I do not really have much to search on. I remember you controlled these kind of big nosed people, and you could control them to do various things. It was like a strategy game, but not that open worldish, as you had different stages you had to complete.
I know it is not much to go on, but I really hope someone can help me!

Oh, and btw this was a PC game, i played around 1999-2002 or something like that.
Gobliiins, Lemmings, or The Lost Vikings maybe? Hell maybe it's Cultures for all I know. Controlling multiple people is about the only real clue given here.

Hi
I need some helping this game.
I know its not a lot of information, but lets give a shot.

This game as I remember is an old pc game, Real time Strategy, like red alert.
what i remember is that the game has different profiles, and you can secure the profile ( main character ) with a password.
after selecting the profile, u select an army, or a special unit, like a tornado, or a fire tornado, and each unit takes a point or credit and i think u have max of 20 points.
and then u enter the map, play the game, constructing buildings, and preparing an army ... while attacking, u can find treasures with items, that can u used for the main character.
and at the end of the game, these special unit i choose at the beginning , if they survived, they get experience, if they die i lose them.

that's all what i can remember
thanks in advance
Sounds like one of the Warlords: Battlecry games.

I've got one that's proven impossible for me to find.

Platform(s): Computer
Genre: Overhead adventure/combat
Estimated year of release: 1990? The graphics seemed 8-bit in my memory.
Other details: Sorry for the lack of details. I remember loving this game as a kid, but I only have a few badly remembered images. The game had a big map where you could walk to the levels you wanted to enter, kind of like Commander Keen. The levels themselves had a large variety of themes from sci-fi, medieval, horror etc. The game itself was overhead with various enemies coming at you in real time. Gauntlet is the closest thing I can think to compare it to.
I remember one level being colored nothing but black and yellow. Another level had a sci-fi set-up with all metal rooms and red orbs that charge at you. The last level I remember had graveyards with ghosts that would come out. I remember when you killed a ghost, it would get the red Ghostbuster stamp placed on it.

Here's a game I've been looking for:

You played as a space train on rails that had to fight off flying police vehicles on the way to your destination.

Your ship was locked to a set of rails, there were walls to either side of you and you were always moving forward. You had to decide which direction to go when forks in the track came up and navigate via keyboard.

You were attacked by police vehicles that would fly onto your screen, which you could destroy by aiming and firing lasers with your mouse.

Enemy ships:
- The most common enemy was a police robot shaped like a square lollipop, had flashing police lights and paint job.
- The next enemy up from that was a blue police ship shaped like the letter 'U' with two cockpits.
- The most dangerous enemy was a large yellow military ship called a 'Scorpion'.

PC Game, ran on Windows 98.
Your character had a trucker cap.
Sci-fi future theme, first-person-perspective game. Space freighter on rails.
The game had a lot of CDs, and came in a multidisk jewel case.

Thanks for any help!
Loadstar - The Legend of Tully Bodine (1994)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKxRmmb2eik

it has a lot of discs because the game has a lot of FMV scenes.

Hello guys!

I need help with a game!

As I remember I played it like 10(?) years ago and it's a classical point & click adventure game for the PC (maybe a horror game because you could die) and the graphics weren't too good!

-male main protagonist (I think he had a black jacket on?)
-I remember a big mansion (the atmosphere was quite red)
-the name "Viktor/Victor or Viktoria/Victoria was a big thing in this game (maybe even in the titel but i cant find anything or maybe it's the owner of that mansion)
-there is one part i remember (it's also in this mansion), you have to get to the other side of a grid(?) or a wall but there is a trap you have to deactivate first, if you don't do it, you'll get shot with a crossbow or even from a hole in the wall in the head/neck and you die
-the whole game could be built around this specific mansion (I am not sure)

So that's all I remember, I hope that's enough for you guys to find this game! I believe in you!

Thanks for any help!

IIZeRoII
sounds like

The Black Mirror (2003)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vK5Xt37LZhY

Victoria is the owner of the mansion and I remember some traps but mostly at the end of game, check it out anyway.
