please i need your help,
here is what i wrote and please help me finding it,
ive been searching for like 2 month

Hi
I need some helping this game.
I know its not a lot of information, but lets give a shot.

This game as I remember is an old pc game, Real time Strategy, like red alert.
what i remember is that the game has different profiles, and you can secure the profile ( main character ) with a password.
after selecting the profile, u select an army, or a special unit, like a tornado, or a fire tornado, and each unit takes a point or credit and i think u have max of 20 points.
and then u enter the map, play the game, constructing buildings, and preparing an army ... while attacking, u can find treasures with items, that can u used for the main character.
and at the end of the game, these special unit i choose at the beginning , if they survived, they get experience, if they die i lose them.

that's all what i can remember
thanks in advance
Sounds like one of the Warlords: Battlecry games.
Thx alot,
I love you <3
u made my day :')

I am searching for a classic third-person RPG. I remember that you could chose between several races (e.g orcs). Soon you would come to a castle and you would explore the dungeons of the castle. I also remember that you would often fight against little pools of slime on the floor. I know that there is also one or even two remakes of the game (can't remember exactly). Release should be around 2000-2005 or so.

Hey everyone. I've seen quite a lot of people getting results here so I thought I'd have a go, The game I'm trying to identify was on the PS1 and I seem to recall it sharing a demo disk with Spyro 2, or at least both discs were out at around the same time. Anyway the game was a "Monster RPG" of sorts, sharing an overworld view similar to that of the older Zelda games, I cant remember too much about it except once you left town and went into the first dungeon you would encounter a monster and it would join your team, and you would give it a new name (No matter what you called it, it would say that's what my old master called me). Beyond that, I think you could rob the shops in towns and get in trouble, not sure about that though. like I said it was only a demo so I'm not sure when it was released maybe (1999-2000). Thanks for your time

Hello guys!

I need help with a game!

As I remember I played it like 10(?) years ago and it's a classical point & click adventure game for the PC (maybe a horror game because you could die) and the graphics weren't too good!

-male main protagonist (I think he had a black jacket on?)
-I remember a big mansion (the atmosphere was quite red)
-the name "Viktor/Victor or Viktoria/Victoria was a big thing in this game (maybe even in the titel but i cant find anything or maybe it's the owner of that mansion)
-there is one part i remember (it's also in this mansion), you have to get to the other side of a grid(?) or a wall but there is a trap you have to deactivate first, if you don't do it, you'll get shot with a crossbow or even from a hole in the wall in the head/neck and you die
-the whole game could be built around this specific mansion (I am not sure)

So that's all I remember, I hope that's enough for you guys to find this game! I believe in you!

Thanks for any help!

Hi all! I've been looking for an old videogame's title for ages now, hope someone can help! (sorry in advance for any mistake, I'm not an English native speaker)
Here's what I remember:

- top view, a bit like pacman
- labyrinth levels, all made of tiles
- the protagonist was a white square and all the enemies were squares of different colours for different kinds (I seem to remember ninjas?), except for one which was composed of 4 red circles of decreasing size (blood worm? lava worm?)
- you often had to collect coloured keys to open locked passages
- you had to kill all enemies before being able to exit the level
- dynamite was one of the special weapons

Thanks!!

Hello guys! I have 2 questions for you, if you could answer either one i would be extremely happy:D

1) Ps 2 Game: Rpg/fantasy i think, If i remember correctly, you start near a cliff with a sword stuck in the ground. You kill bees and other monsters and they drop crystals or such which is like the "currency" to buy weapons and gear. I only played it for a few minutes at a friend's house but i really liked it. About a decade ago i believe, good graphics.

2) PC GAME (i really liked that one, it would be awesome if someone remembered) : Really old, might be even from the 90's
Rpg/fantasy i think, bad graphics,2D. You can have a party, i think you get situation where you can either get people to join your party or kill them or let them go and such. The characters were like the characters of pokemon in gameboy are. Not too detailed, set amount of space. You go on adventures and such, get gear and skills, kill stuff.
I remember a couple of scenes from that game, you got into a town and you had to buy a room for 200 gold , i dont remember if you could rest or such in the rooms, but there were 3 rooms and there was a thrashcan in the corner. The trashcan in a room gave me 200gold, one 50g and one an item or nothing, i could save beforehand though and choose again if i didn't like my choice. The other scene i remember from this game, i had to beat a witch at a certain march, who was really hard to beat but she sometimes bugged out and didnt attack me.

IF ANYONE KNOWS EITHER OF THESE GAMES PLEASE POST I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A REALLY LONG TIME FOR BOTH OF THEM <3
ALSO, IF ANYONE KNOWS ANY PC GAME LIKE THE N 2) ON MY POST, PLEASE MESSAGE ME OR POST HERE IF MESSAGING ME IS IMPOSSIBLE!
THANKS A LOT, LOTS OF LOVE !

Arcade game (although it could have been in other formats also).
I played it in a University arcade room in 1988-89.
I think you had robot looking characters that you moved horizontally and vertically with joystick.
The game automatically rolled the terrain under you so you were advancing forward.
1 or 2 players.
You would shoot different ?objects or beasts?.
I think different things you shot released different weapons (with increasing firepower). Or, you released health which could replenish your decreasing health. Different objects were harder to kill.
I think there were power-ups that put a force field around you for a bit.
If a new weapon was released, you had to run over it with your player to gain that weapon.
Some of the new weapons were just different guns. Sometimes there were balls (up to 3?) that followed you and shot every time you shot.
Occasionally, you would shoot a tree or structure that then disappeared and revealed some stairs. You could go down those stairs into another room. I don't remember if you shot more things in that room or if you just got new guns.
At the end of each round, you fought a huge beast that was firing at you. If you got hit, you lost the balls that you had and lost some health. If your health dropped to zero, you lost.
The last level was very hard. It was incredibly difficult to win on your own, but if playing in 2 player mode it was at least possible.
My best friend and I fed a lot of quarters to this game. I'd really like to find it and buy it somewhere.
Thank you for your assistance.

If anyone get's this, I'll love them forever. I never played the game myself, I remember seeing a youtube video of someone playing it.

I think at the beginning you were playing as a team of four or five God's (I think Buddha and maybe a Hindu God were in there), and you were fighting a God(?) who was a massive supercomputer with a load of screens in a turn based combat setting. I think Buddha was the healer of the group of that helps at all :p

Sorry for my vagueness on this one!

You're welcome. I've already tried to find the disc and wasn't a fruitful task..for instance check out this one which seem very promising

I've checked only the D&D, RPG, Adventure games of the list of videos.. I'm thinking that maybe was more like a strategy game. Check it out perhaps you can find something. About the list that I mentioned, I've found another more complete which now includes years check it out also

http://pastebin.com/pWPBMUMK

In the meantime, I will continue looking for other possibilities.

EDIT: Sorry, I've just noticed that the above list includes also commercial games. Here's the first list with only shareware games

Well, it's not immediately obvious on either of those. Don't worry about it any more - you've spent a fair bit of time helping already! - and I'll try and dig up the disc when I'm next at home. If I can find it then it'll be much easier to track down the DOS game, even if the disc turns out not to run on modern PCs.

I remember this one game back on the old ps1, I believe it was a fighting style of game not sure if it was entirely arcade like. But I remember one character being a knight with completely red armor, nothing too fancy it was rather cliche if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure there was also a character the same but with armor that was silver or something as well. I don't remember much about the levels but I do remember one being a pirate ship sort of thing and another inside a castle.

I think I've found the disc

the bad new is that there is no any other useful info in the web and no way to know the entire list of the games of the disc...just a partial list provided by the seller of the first link and the ones that you can see on the back cover of the box of the second link...I've checked the possible games and found nothing. I hope you can recognize the disc.

I have one PC game I played when I was a kid that I just can't even begin to remember its name.

It was a side-scrolling 2D (but you could walk "up" and "down", technically left and right to your character) game with japanese style art (like the first Final Fantasies). It wasn't pixelated. You could play a variety of characters (but only one at a time) that were all mages and you had spells you could cast by clicking a combination of buttons. The spells were purple-ish and I distinctly remember 2 of them - one was a purple disc you materialized over your head and threw at the enemies, the other one was the same disc, but used as a shield in front of you. There were more spells, but I can't remember them very well.

You could say it was a side-scrolling beat 'em up. I remember a dungeon level and a forest level, but that's it. I know it's not a lot to go on, but it's worth a shot.

I am trying to remember some of the games i played about ten yeas ago on pc, all i remember for now is that there was 1 game that looks like starcraft/warcraft but not them, there was no dark portal in it, and the raphics were better then warcraft 1, but worst then 3, and you didn't have the species choice in campaign which i dont remember much of. You could have a custom game where you got to chose how many pc players there was, and you would start out in a map to collect resources, build things, and researched others, one of the species you could start with had mages and the mage tower could create dragons with the proper upgrade, and some of the workers could be trained into having a stealth mode, but being unable to work afterwards. The point of the game was to eventually have a big enought army to go and kill everyone at the pcs bases along with their building unless you chose to convert them into your own. I believe there was cows you could either kill or milk for food, along with fishing, and you could make scouts on scouters and travel around faster to discover the map, and you could carry your army in a aircraft shuttle like unit or by boat if you had shipwards. the resources that i remember were gold, lumber, stone and food and you could use a cheat that made everything go faster including the pc bases developement. Any help is appreciated

Hello. This thread is probably already cluttered with people wanting to know the name of some game and I am certainly not contributing to end that in any way (on the contrary actually) so sorry in advance for that. Also, I just signed up to be able to post here.

I am trying to remember the name of a tank game my (only) friend and I used to play back in the day. From memory, this is what I can remember:

- It was a simultaneous coop game.
- Although it was a tank game, it wasn't military themed. It took place in space or some sort of science fiction setting.
- We could both play on a single keyboard (did I mention it was a computer game?).
- You could shoot your partner to heal him (which costed you some of your own hp).
- The perspective was top down.
- You could buy upgrades for your tanks in between missions (these proved to be critical in the later stages, as far as I recall).
- You could also buy tickets to skip whole levels if you had the required points.
- There were bosses that looked like giant faces (maybe walls?) which would spawn tons of smaller enemies and were super hard to kill.
- It was already out by at least 2005 (sorry, that's as specific as I can get with the date, but it was already old back then).
- It MAY or may not be a DOS game (we didn't know what that was back then, so I am not sure).
- There was an upgrade to shoot boomerangs (maybe special ammo) that could attack aerial enemies. This was the one I always picked.
- According to my friend, the tank colors where a pinkish-red one and a green one, and the final boss was a giant alien with a lot of eyes.

That's all I can remember for now, but I will try to post more stuff if I remember. Thanks in advance!!
(also, I just shamelessly copy/pasted this from somewhere else, sorry!)

Please, help me remember a name of a text-based adventure game from 80-s. It was released either for Commodore64 or for ZX Spectrum.

The plot ran as follows: guy returns from a deep space to Earth, but somehow forgets everything that happened before. He finds the Earth abandoned, but he is able to find some operating computer terminal, and by connecting to it he starts to understand what happened, who he actually is, and he starts to reactivate some machinery on and near Earth.

The key words I remember are "Helios relay unoperable". There was some virtual love story unfolding through the game of the main protagonist and some girl hibernated on a space flight to Vega (star in Lyra constellation).

That's about all I remember. One more thing, I actually have not played the game, I only read about it and viewed screenshots.

Google search for "helios relay operable", "vega" in any combination with "text-based adventure game" yielded nothing.

Can somebody help me determine what game was it?

I've been trying to remember this game for such a long time...
It's a ps1 game, I don't remember it very wel, but you played as some kind of little creature or car, and there were others creatures/cars against you, the goal was to wal along lines and complete all the sides of the tracks you had to walk, for example, if the track formed a square and you walked al its perieter, the square would fill with your character's collor and you gained one point, while you tried to gain more squares, the AI tried to gain those squares for thenselves.
Please, help me remember this game T.T
