Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Hi Guys
Looking for an arcade game where fridges, lamps are enemies. Fat guy, skinny guy, old guy. You can play these characters and a couple others. The skinny guy can jump high, fat guy is strong, old guy is wise. There is a witch in the game whose broom you can grab and the screen pauses for you for a few seconds. The game scrolled up and had bosses. It was around the early 90's. Maybe even late 80's.

Can anyone remember this game?

I have been looking all over for this game I played on the NES when I was younger but the name escapes me. The game was a side scrolling sci-fi looking game. Your character drove a futuristic car that could jump and shoot (I think pink) plasma balls at the enemies. You could exit the vehicle at I think certain times in the game (sometimes it was mandatory) as the main character, who also had a futuristic weapon and suit. Im not sure if the things you were killing were aliens but Im positive they werent robots. They were almost like ugly creatures that walked on two legs. I never really got past the first "level" but from what I remember from it, you leave a partially seen bigger futuristic craft that originally housed your jumping car. Also I seem to remember that the first mission seemed to be outside and in a more rural area. Thats all I can remember so if anyone can figure out the name Ill forever love you since its been killing me for years!!!

Sounds just like Comix Zone. It's been re-released several times as part of the Sega Collection so shop carefully for whichever platform you (might) decide to buy it on. I'm fairly certain that the version of the game Space Harrier I got on the 'Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection' was almost 100% arcade accurate, so perhaps Comix Zone is an accurate recreation as well.

Hi, I'm trying to find the name of this old game.

It is similar to Zelda I think in terms of game style. This is what I remember from the game:

You start in a small cave next to a town by coming out of some chamber or time travel device thing. You fight with a single hero that uses a sword. The sword can be upgraded into a wind, fire, ice, lightning sword. Each type can be upgraded 3x I think so you can charge and file more powerful attacks. The first thing you do is leave north of town to fight gorilla and slime looking monsters. You have to find a sleeping man in a cave and get some potion to wake him up and power up the windmill to open up another cave. The first boss in that cave is a witch looking thing that teleports around and attacks you with bats.

Can anyone tell me what was the name of this game? It was 2D also.

I believe you're talking about Crystalis. Does that ring a bell?

There's a really old arcade game that I used to play all the time... it had a lot of jumping, random household items appearing as bad guys, you could be one of three characters at the beginning until you unlocked (walked into a phone booth) the fat guy, the tall skinny guy in the sweater, and the old man... if you touched the witch.. you would grab a hold of the broom and time would stop temporarily... bosses at the end like in all games, and light switches that triggered things (not just lights if I remember) to turn off and on... there was a library level that stands out to me the most where the main bad guys were refrigerators and lamp fixtures... please tell me someone knows the name of what I'm talking about

I had the same problem. The game was cool. Alot of fun. You can get for Mac and PC. It's called..... Psychic 5.

Ive been looking for this game i played (or rather my mom played) when i was little. i THINK it was a PS2 game but i cant remember for sure.

Basicly had 2 story lines (i never played them fully to know if the converged in any large way) There was a girls storyline and a boys. The chick used a bow and the guy used a sword. and the main thing i remeber is as the chick your grandmother is kidnapped or killed or something, and your sent to fine her or get revenge (i was in kindergarden or first grade when i had this sorry im bad at explaining it.) any way one of the first enemies you meet in the female part of the game were these like cabbage monsters? cause you were gathering veggies from the garden when the game started or something...

I think it had some sci fi aspects like iirc it had like air ships and stuff but it was more fantasy i THINK. ive beem looking for it for like 3 years now and i still cant find it so if anyone can tell what the game is off that piss poor explaination i would appreciate extremely

i remember an overhead view plane(ww2 based i believe) flying game for the ps1 i think.....i was very good at it to.
also and jrpg(not a final fantasy game) also from the ps1. i know its to vague for anyone to figure it out but i just wanted to post sumthing

Maybe The Legend of Dragoon? It came on four CD's in one big case.

i remember there was a game when i was child, on NES
it's ninja
i believe it's at stage 10 or bonus stage, at night, we can play the ninja riding a big green frog
so we can defeat the enemy easily.

unfortunately, i've tried very much NES game in my PC by an emulator, but can't found that game.
anyone please help me.

The Gansters graphics look familiar. I'll take a look at it more closely to see if it's it. There was this line "Sure, I could use protection" that was always spoken whenever a shopkeeper gave in.

I think the game you are referring to is called "Legal Crime' made by Byte Enchanters

Was a game on PC. You drove space tanks, your enemies had a red style to their tanks, levels were planets. You had a cannon and rockets on your first tank. About all I can remember. I think it had the name Brigade in it.

I played it on the PC it was based in the amazon/rain forest, you rode a canoe or some sort of boat and it would capsize near a whirlpool. I can't remember anymore specifics, if anyone has any idea what this game is called let me know haha. It's driving me crazy!

Also trying to remember the name of a simple arcade game demo i think? It was on a tiny disk for the PC and you conrolled a snake that ate fruit ect.. if ran into a wall the game was over kind of like centipede.

Ok I have two games that I just can't remember because I was a little young and them images are burned in my mind and are haunting me to know. They are both on the playstation 1 console

1. The first one was a Japanese art style kart racer with anime looking characters. I remember that there was an old man racer that if he built up enough speed his kart would turn into a plane for a short period of time and then crash.

2. The other game was a strange 3rd person platformer. It's walls and floors were multicolored patterns. The character memory is kinda blurry and I remember a short alien like creature with no hands(I think)a teardrop shaped body, and 2 big feet. He got flung to different parts of the map with mounted slingshots. I do not know the goal of the game I was young and did not understand it. I remember I died by a creature with propellers kinda like a helicopter that threw projectiles at me.

Any help finding these games would be greatly appreciated especially the second game, I want to know that one the most

I remember and own that game the name is The Amazon Trail. It basically was like the Oregon Trail except you were in a canoe going down the amazon with a guide, and you had mission to collect certain items either from the land or villages. You could spear fish take pictures of animals on land and basically don't die.

Another thing is in the beginning of the game you are greeted by a black panther you could talk and says you are destined to help the Inca King.
