I think I may be at the point where I would be willing to reward someone if they can help me track down this game. I've spent hours scouring the internet, using all the search terms I can think of. I have LOTS of details, so I am hoping someone can help me out with this, and if you need more, I can give you more. I NEED THE NAME OF THIS GAME!

PLEASE help me look for this game!

I've had trouble finding this one even after searching through lists of "all" games from the 90's.

This is a mac/pc game(not sure if it was available for both, but I played on mac between 1997-2003) that was an educational dinosaur/paleontology game. It started with getting inside this raptor robot that allowed you to travel around and collect bones and talk with scientists. The scientists were real people so the clips were actual video mixed in with the graphics. You spent the whole time I think with a control panel to travel to different locations.

It was all a bunch of puzzles. You would travel to the desert and have to use dynamite, shovels and then trowels and smaller instruments in the right order with certain sediments and rock layers to get to the fossils. There was a geologist who would help you with this and teach you about different types of rocks he was an older man. Then you would take the fossil to the lab and another scientist would give you tools to clean up the fossils. Then you would have to put together the skeleton like one of those sliding block puzzles.

Please help me find this game! I never got to finish it, and I can't find it anywhere. All the dinosaur games I've seen, or had suggested to me are missing that the game I used to play had video clips of real people/scientists who would help you solve the puzzle. And I can't remember the name of the raptor/robot you were inside of.

EDIT: It is not 3-D Dinosaur Adventure.
Dinosaur Safari maybe?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHY1WcxZm2Q
Unfortunately it's not Dinosaur Safari. It had nothing to do with photographing dinosaurs. The very first thing you did was wander inside this secret bunker and find a giant metal robot (a velociraptor I think) and this woman's voice came on and introduced the program the robot was a part of and then you could make the robot walk and hear it moving. You could then travel to different areas and meet the scientists.

I'm looking for a PS2 game in which the main character wears a helmet with two or three glowing blue stripes. He may or may not have a scarf and I remember that the scenario was pretty dark most of the time. It was either a hack 'n' slash or a third-person shooter. I know it's vague but that's pretty much all I remember and I wanted to try it again and see what it is like
I believe the game in question is called "Shinobi".
Yeah, that's just it! Thank you a lot! I'll try finding and playing it again.

Hey guys, I've been google searching for a particular older Point and Click adventure game I played back when I was in Middle School. I have not be able to find anything about it anywhere. Hopefully someone might be able to help me find it and keep me from thinking I'm insane and hallucinating the memories of this old game. It's going to be a tough one to find I feel.

The game in question I want to say was released between the mid 90's and the first half of 2001 because I played it at my middle school from '99-'01. It was a point and click style adventure/survival game with some FMV elements targeted at a Middle School student level. It's plot was somewhere along the lines of protecting the environment. It also supported a first person perspective. That's all I can remember at the moment, I'll put some more thought into it to see if I can remember more.
Hey, just throwing this one back out there. Still haven't come up with anything on my end.

Is the main character an animal of some kind? I've been looking for an old mid 90s/early 2000s cd rom game that may or may not involve a squirrel/chipmunk, in the game you clean up the beach and things I believe. It's hard to remember what happened in it sadly.

Also in this game there was a crab on the beach who got you to play "cups and balls" where he put something under a shell and there were two other empty shells which he moved around and you had to guess which shell had the prize. If anyone knows what game this was it would be amazing! There might have been a treehouse involved and a garden at some point. Memory is so fuzzy. Sorry if this has nothing to do with your game TitanStrife

There's this old Mac Game either from the late 1990s or early 2000s, which was basically killing waves of different insects (bees, beetles and the sort) - as added info, I remember that these bugs all left different colours of blood once killed. Also if I remember correctly it was not a 3D game.

Really bugging me that I can't remember! Pun intended haha

EDIT : I'm not sure if there was the word Bumble included in the game name!

Hi!

I remember some details from one game - but can't remember name of it:

1. GTA type
2. Game starts in older times but after half of the game - main character goes to jail. After some years he goes out and everything is changed - it's new age.
3. I remember that in the game was auto garages.(they was horrible - that's why i remember them). There was some missions, which required these garages
4. In the new ages map there was lots of trails. I think I remember them because there was hard mission with them.

Maybe someone know this game? Sorry for my cloudy english.
Sounds like Mafia II to me.
The main character goes to jail for a while, when he comes back everything's changed even the cars, new parts of the city, etc.

Edit #1

---BUMP---
First of all, hello everyone.
This topic really interested me because (well, otherwise I wouldn't be here), I'm looking for a game which I can't remember the name, I want to play that game so much again, that I created an account here just for that.

I remember very little of the game.
It was for the PlayStation 2.
I played it between 2003 and 2005.
If I'm not mistaken, it was fantasy-based.
You were a girl, in the middle of the forest (not a regular forest, a kind of... "futuristic" forest.) and you could skate around...
I'm pretty sure that wasn't the whole game, but a mini-game or something.
I also remember some of the start screen (at least I think it was the start screen) where it appears some letters, which are the name of the game, but I can only seem to remember the letters: SH
I'm not sure if it was in the start, middle, ending, I can't remember at all.

Would be great if you guys could help me.

Thanks.

Hello, I found this thread about two years ago, and I'm so happy it's still alive! I'd really appreciate help finding a couple of really old and I think not so well known games. Actually I wish to ask about many many games, but for now i'll only describe 3. Since i'm not very good with explaining things, I have drawn small doodles to help visualize what i'm talking about

1. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/148/3/d/1_by_thalassa_star-d7k25xw.png
It was a strange arcade game I had on a very very very old Laptop with Windows 98 installed to it. You played as a little blue and white striped ball who would have to "ride" through a maze of sorts, that was checkered dark red and black. I think once you made it go in one direction it could not stop until it hit a wall, so it was sort of a think before you act kind of game, and I'm sure there had to be walls scattered about the field and other obstacles which would be your inevitable demise if you ran into them. I'm not sure the electric generator-like things were around the edges, but I remember the game was pretty difficult for me (at least at the age I was in) and I was afraid to run into the walls at the very edges of the field, so they were probably dangerous.

2. http://fc04.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/148/c/a/2_by_thalassa_star-d7k25xs.png
Another sort of Arcade game, I think I played it at the very same Laptop with Win98. It was a cartoon-y game that was like a puzzle. You had to flip the squares (within each was drawn a fragment of a rope), and it had to make at least one rope path that lead from the left top corner to the right bottom corner. It was a sort of Firework-y Game and I'm sure the point was to make sure the fire at the rope's one end reached something that would make more firefworks, aaand there was a Chinese dragon sitting at the top left corner, most certainly blue, but I don't remember very well how exactly it looked, so I drew it a little improvised...

3. http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2014/148/1/c/3_by_thalassa_star-d7k25xl.png
This one was probably for a console, maybe a Sega or even something like Nintendo 64. It was very crudely drawn, I mean the game itself. Almost exactly how I drew it in the image above.
The game was a platformer where you played as a Penguin and had to rescue little Chicks scattered across the screen. There were throwable objects in each level too (the "T"s in my image) which you could use to defend against... cats? I think that was the enemy in the first levels or maybe even all of them, I'm not sure. As soon as you approached a chick it would start to follow you and you had to pass the blue portal to make the chicks go home, probably, and you earned score for that. I know very well that there were chicks with sunglasses in levels very often ´w` I love that detail. The game resembles a lot a more modern game called Granny in Paradise, which sadly is kind of hard to find a full version of, but it pretty much has this little penguin game as it's main predecessor in terms of gameplay.

Hey guys, I remember a old game for pc where you could control little I think yellow guys. You needed to save them or something by building tools in a little shed. Most levels are on some kind of island. And its not Lemmings or Zoomings.
it was like from birds view camera with rts/puzzle elements. That is all I remember aand yea, I think you had to gather resources iam not sure.

Actually, after searching through old stuff in my home storage, the first CD I picked up from 1997 happened to have the game I was speaking about as a Demo! It's called Bumbler, but I can't seem to find an available download for it :(

I was about to say you're spot on based on the description from the wiki, but viewing the gameplay I luckily found just now showed it's very different from what I remember umu' so that's sadly not it. Thanks so much for the reply though! I appreciate it!

I remember playing this old computer game back in the 90s but the game could have been created much earlier. It was alongside Commander Keen and Oregon Trail if that helps. The setting was in a jungle and I believe what happens is your plane crashes and natives steal your girlfriend (not 100% sure). You play as a man in a kind of safari outfit. it was a text based game and you could also walk around and point and click on items too. I recall walking to the left and seeing an item that I always thought looked like a LOG but it was actually a SCROLL. And you would type in PICK UP SCROLL and your character would pick up the scroll. Also there was a VINE and you had to type in SWING ON VINE to cross over a large gap. I think also you might pick up a piece of meat. So once you've collected all the things you can collect you have no choice but to go back to the right and talk to the native villagers and for some reason they put you in JAIL and if I remember correctly the natives are boiling water and telling you they are going to cook you. Your character is now locked in a cell and the only other person in the room is a GUARD. You can speak to the guard and use items but I never figured out how to get past this part. I was only a little kid when I played this game and well I can't remember the name and it's bugging the crap outta me. Does anyone recall playing a game similar to this?
This sounds like Hugo 3 - Jungle of Doom. Here's an image from where I think you went to jail:

Maybe search for "Bumbler Bee" instead. At least that what I found.

http://www.mobygames.com/game/bumbler-bee-luxe

But when you have it, why you need to download it? Unfortunately this is a Classic OS game so it won't run on new mac's after OSX 10.7. Can't find what the minimum OS version required, if it's possible to run on OS 8.1 you could run it whit Basilisk II http://basilisk.cebix.net/
