Need help...new poster here...been trying to find a game that I played as a kid in the 90s. I've been searching this for a few years now..one of my favorite educational style games as a kids and I'd love to see how it hold us today, but I can't find it in my old CDs (use to own it and would like to again).
I had windows 98 SE computer to play it on...I can't remember the name but here is what I remember about it:
- 2 Kids (a boy and girl) where in a relatives 2 stories mansion/house and where trying to fix dinner for the rest of their family by solving puzzle (educational style...math measurement, etc) through the house and back yard.
- In the kitchen you went to the fridge and clicked on a cow who brought up a game involving measurement and volumes to solve it and get milk for one of the recipes.
- Upstairs you have a room (I think first on right) where you talked to a relative that was on a Big TV screen and when you put on a helmet you were transported into a video game that involved math (I think the math game was pizza themed) and by winning that game you got a pizza.
- Upstairs, second room on right with a volcano lava room that you have to click and move either on lava rocks to adjust temperature for a microwave to warm up some food or you just used the microwave and tried not to get hit by the rocks.
- In the hallway upstairs there was a monkey that would scratch his head, hinge open the top half of his head and scratch his brain and throw out an item from him brain cavity area (usually a key) to help get into another room.
- I think there was a Yeti/abdominal snowman somewhere in the game with a puzzle you had to solve (not 100% sure of this part...but sure of all the rest).
- In the back room of the upstairs hallway there is a lounge where there is a Duck who acts like Elvis and sign duck parodies of famous songs. The game in this one was to create a playlist with the songs he was singing on that current set to match the total playlist time. When completed, you got access to the back stage of the lounge area which was the duck's dressing room where you found another item (usually a rose, if I remember correctly).
- I know there was 1 game you played in the back yard (I think it was the style of game where you have stones or tires in a certain order on the left and had 3 poles and have to move them with the rule of smaller can only go on bigger...not bigger on smaller and you had to move them from the left side to the right).
- After all room puzzles were done and it was time to serve dinner, you have to so a deductive reasoning puzzle where it gave clues to what items you found/made in the game went to each person and you had to figure who which item was for which dinner guest.
- After the dinning room part was done, the game was over and you could start again is you'd like.
- Also, If I remember correctly, it has cartoonish graphic somewhere between the mixed-up mother goose, freddy pharkas. Part of me wants to say Sierra or Luca Games may have made it, but I'm no where near 100% certain of an idea on what company made/published it
Thanks for all of your help with this.
