So first of all, so glad this thread exists because this has been plaguing me.

I played a PC game back in the 90s, probably between 1995 and 1999 that was a space adventure game, all point and click and going through menus, no actual controlled space flight that I can remember, but you clicked on planets to go them and it brought up screens with the planet's landscape (pretty nice looking, realistic planet-scapes form what I remember, but static). And different things you could do like talk to people and buy/sell things, make deals etc. Gradually you were able to unlock more and more planets and the story progressed.

Any ideas? I think it's pretty obscure it doesn't seem to be on any list of best adventure or point-and-click games that I can find. I just remember being enthralled by it for some reason, maybe because the art was compelling. I believe I was playing this game around the same time that Loom, Myst, and similar games were around. Thanks a ton if you can help me on this one!

Also, totally unrelated but what's the name of that 2D puzzle type game with the mouse and the cheese and the cats that was on like every PC back in the 90s?

Hey, im looking for a game which i played on PC while in kindergarden, im 16. I think the game was either late 1990s or early 2000s. The game was a 'scary' 3d game where you were a character that looked like a child grim reaper. You would go around and collect things (i think?) and one of the scenes i remember is that you walk along some road and suddenly a female (dont know what see looked like) pops up and scares you and there is some dialog and i think your character eats some sort of goo or slime.

I dont know but i think the game was 18+ however thinking about it now it makes no sense

I remember a game which I played almost 7 years back. It was like a puzzle solving game similar to escape the titanic but on pc. It was a paid game I believe, where you go to different places and in one case, you go to Egypt and in the pyramid, on each step you are asked a question by a person standing on that level. And you are also involved in a murder case too. You also get to use a hot air balloon I believe and I remember something related to santa too. I think it begins with a visit to the cousin or friend.

So I had two that I was thinking about. One game was like a windows (95 I believe, maybe vista) game where like you play as some kind of goo creature. It's a puzzle game. Sorry if that's vague but that's all I've got. And the next one is likely to be even more vague. I believe it was a jrpg for psx and I think it starts in a burning village or something of the like. You end up either fighting or talking to some kind of goo monster(unrelated) and end up going to a castle where you have to fight skeletons and shit. I doubt I'd get much due to how vague my memories are, but I'd appreciate any help.

Hello. So, I've been trying to remember this one computer game I played all the time when I was a kid. It was a mystery type game that takes place in a museum. I think it was point an click game. It had like 20 different mysteries to chose from all centering around an item that was stolen by one of the employees working in the museum. Each mystery had the same museum setting and the same suspects. The actual thief was different for each mystery. I'm pretty sure the game came out in the 90s. Hope you guys can help out with this one.

Hi. I hope someone can help me remember the name of this game. I played this on a Windows 7 computer, not a browser game, it is offline and single player only. 3rd person type of game where the camera is behind the character which is a male (don't remember though if you can select female too). I played it in 2010 but I don't know when it was released. It is RPG type of game where the player is travelling from one island to another, riding a boat, dirigible or winged horse, completing quests and fighting monsters, mages, huge snakes, elves, knights, archers, giants, and when you defeated them you can buy them and put them on your squad and fight for you. You can use numbers of monsters for your squad, example, 20 snakes and 10 knights, and they will attack the opponents' squad in turn, and when some of them are killed, you can go back to the location where you killed them to buy them and replenish your squad. That's all I can remember. Thanks in advance.

Ok, hello there! I hope I will find what I seeking))
So, this game I was playing in 2007 or 2006, on Win XP. This is 3D "runner" (if call it by modern definitions).
You play for ball with little cartoon eyes, that rushes forward with high speed through black "space" on platforms. Higher difficult means higher speed.
In addition, this ball can shoot with the stars, by pressing the left mouse button.
Hope someone else recognize that game!

Hi everyone, I found this topic on Google and I really hope you can help me finding 2 games that are driving me insane:

1)
- PC Drawing Game, I think Windows 98.
- The intro is a car driving on a strange roller coaster-street.
- When inside the house you can click on rooms to enter different drawing modes (plain drawing, animations, etc).
- You can click on the elevator buttons to change floors.
- You can click on NPC's to get some hints.
- In one mode you can use fake 3d drawing like point of fugue, in another you can put in animations from a library and they will play all at once (like lizards, birds)
- It is all weird coloured (weird characters with violet skin, blue hairs, etc)

2)
- NES platform/fighting game
- The character is like a little Goku
- He can throw "energy boomerangs" that replenish over time
- In one level you are in the sky
- One boss is a giant foot (god's foot?)
- One boss is like Kali, with a lot of arms, the face gets angry and comes at you
- I remember the character having a blue outfit, but I'm not sure of this

Can be Suikoden 2 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suikoden_II]?
I remember that you start on a campsite that starts burning after a while, and later you get to your castle.

I remember a flash game I played on Gamershood over 10 years ago. I think it was an escape type adventure game that was deep and has dark colors and was very intense. the characters were block like and I know you had to collect tape recordings or something of the like throughout the game. One particular detail I remember is there was a part where you had to look through a window and you would see a room, look away and back again there was a person there watching you, that ends up leaving a clue to something you needed to solve. Its a long shot but I can't find anything so far and Im sure it would be a fun thing to look back on.

Hi guys!
Help me to find this game.
- This was a PLATFORM GAME.
- There were many CASTLES in different colors. (I think the YELLOW one is the first, and MAGENTA or PURPLE is the final castle.)
- You were a Mexican and you had a sombrero.
- In right-up corner, you had 5 slots for keys. You had to collect keys to open the doors.
- On the main page, you saw Mexican and one snake. Between them were menu.
- I remember there were spiders, bats, and snakes. Also you had ladders, kind of super powers, fire...
- If somebody know the name of the game, please reply me.
Thank you all! All best! :)

Hey guys,
I am looking for a game that I used to play quite some time ago, as are most people in this thread.
I played this on my PC, and I suspect it was made somewhere in the 90s or very early 2000s at most.

What I remember from this game is that is was like some sort of free for all arena with all kinds of monsters brawling in it all at once. It was sort of topdown/sideways (hard to tell with pixel sprites sometimes). I seem to remember that the main map was sort of like a courtyard where we fought on the dirt with a gate in the background where new monsters would come out off.

I also vaguely remember that if you were victorious in the tournament or battle that your monster would climb a hill with all of the other monster participants standing at the side looking at you whilst you climb to the top.

Any ideas what this could be?

Cheers

There is 1 game for PC that I can not remember the name to. This game was probably made in the 90's. You start out in a first-person style game and you go inside a mansion. You then are trying to solve the murder of someone important. This game had jump scares everywhere. There were times it made you jump to an alternate reality/dimension to solve the clues and puzzles. It was a lesser known game and all I can think of is that it had a name like Dark Rising or something like that but I know that is wrong. Anyone have a clue to which game this is?
