It's gonna be vague, cuz I played this game around early 2000s, but I will try to put all details I remember.
It was a win 95/98 game. It wasn't a dos game, because I remember it having a launcher [it was something completely new for me]. The launcher was just a standard rectangle with buttons like "start game" and "options", but there was also a "troubleshooting" button [the 10 yo me was fascinated by that word, because I'm not a native speaker].
The game itself was a top down "space" shooter. You were piloting a Millenium Falcon-like space ship and you were shooting other ships [at least I think it was the main objective of the game]. I put "space" shooter in quotation marks, because you weren't fighting in space, but on the surface of planets of your own choice. The planet/level selection screen was also something innovative back then so I remember it strongly. I think I also was able to pick different space ships, but I'm not sure about that. I also remember that one of the planets [I think it was the first, default level] was dark green/brown and another level was like dark blue and black. Also the graphics were very good for those times. I remember it not being as pixely as other games from that era. The ship and the planets had that weird "modeling clay" Donkey Kong Country feel. Or at least that's how I remembered it, I'm not 100% sure about that.
I know the informations I provided are really not precise, but I have flashbacks of this game for years now and I really wanna play it again. Hope you can help me.
