The game is a platform where you have a small spaceship wich you can fly around the map with, but you can also leave the spaceship and play as the character himself. You can enter and leave this spaceship anytime,as long as the spaceship is landed. The objective is to defeat the enemies around the map, (turrets, etc) and reach the end of the level. It is a 2D game and is a Side-Scrolling (but you can also go "down" in certain parts) It is a 2D Platform, pixelated , and scy-fi style. I remember that I played it in a Sega Emulator in Windows XP called "SEGA BEST" or something like that (btw if you know where can I get this emulator would be extremely helpfull too), and thats all. I have a vague and uncertain memory of the spaceship being white with a blue window, but I?m not sure.
It wasn't exactly a ship (a tank with rocket boosters) but otherwise that sounds like Blaster Master 2.
This one you mentioned (Blaster Master 2) looks a lot like it, but i'm pretty sure it's a spaceship. Do you know any other game with this same "leave-ship" mechanics?

Hello, there was a game i was playing long time ago on PC.. it was a street fighting game (no , its not street fight).. one of the characters that i really liked was a short haired white guy wearing a brown top and had as weapons 2 police batons-like made of wood. ( like this: https://cdn.thehomesecuritysuperstore-img1.com/content/product/large/10070A.jpg but made of wood.) Can someone help?
Possibly Last Bronx, the short white haired character is probably Red Eye. Either way, the weapon you're describing is called a tonfa, come in many shapes and materials, and is often used in pairs.

Hello, in 1998 I played a game that was similar to Descent/Forsaken, it was on the PC and I always played it as local (of course) multiplayer, wherein my brother would always cream me. But I cant remember what it is?
There aren't that many true six-degrees-of-freedom (or 6DoF) games out there, so probably either Terracide or one of the two Miner Wars games. There's also this list on Giant Bomb, but it does list some games that shouldn't be there.

A while ago I had a game on Windows 7 - it was a maths game. It was a 3D platformer. You had to... well... go around the place. There were some scrolls sitting around the place, with multiple-choice math equations on them that you had to solve. There weren't many of them though. Here are some other things I remember:
There was a big flat thingy surrounded by hills, and... when you hung around it for a bit, a person walked up to you and let you inside , where there was a big knight city place. You basically couldn't do anything else until you did that.
There was a jurassic place with a giant dinosaur. And you took its eggs or something.
Then there was a room... and it was circular with a hallway that led to the outside. You had to put a stone in the middle or something, and then it would go to a ice themed area.
Also there was a volcano area. You had to go somewhere, and then later you came back to it.
I just want to remember the game because of nostalgia. Hopefully I can figure it out someday, because Googling "maths 3d platformer" does not help.

Ok I am looking for a samurai/ninjia arcade game the main character was like a ram/goat/sheep. You would fly in on a cloud and you had a sword. The screen scrolled up, and I think up,to,3 people could play. I want to say it was a snk/Neo Geo cabnet, the game had to have been made in the late 80s or early 90s.

Sounds like one of the "Moorhuhn: Schatzj?ger" games, in non-german-speaking-countries they were called "Crazy Chicken Jump 'n Run" or something like that.

Hello. First of all kudos to all the people who help out here, you're great :)

So, i'm looking for this game i used to play as a kid. I remember my brother giving me a CD of it. It was on windows, probably around the XP era.
The game seemed to be aimed for kids, with quite colorful 3D graphics. It was proper 3D, not like the first doom, but i think it wasn't extremely nice - similar to the Ignition racing game in terms of detail if i remember correctly.
The gameplay consisted of moving several creatures on a tiled map. Your goal was to get to the end of the map. There were holes (imagine being on a floating island. I remember there being springs on some tiles and other tiles would be moving platforms, you know, classic obstacles.
The creatures could pick up item to carry and use - i remember picking up a shovel.
Apart from the campaign, you could somehow play levels with opposing creatures, where you would use the items to defeat them. I remember electricity.
The view was bird's eye, probably isometric style, but remember it was 3D.
The name of the game may be the name of the creatures.

That's all i can remember, sorry for being vague. I hope anyone will remember and point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance :)

EDIT: It turned out to be gruntz. Funny how i remembered it to be a lot more realistic :D

Please guys, I played a game in the 90s and early 2000s where a man is always fighting in dungeons, moving from dungeon to dungeon through a hole in the middle of the current dungeon. Opens chests and level up on dexterity, skills and stuffs. He is able to use all sorts of weapons and defence mechanism. He starts with a stick and level up as he goes.

Trying my luck here.

I will post the things I can remember about the game:

-I think the very first level was on a sinking ship.
-You played with mickey mouse or some disney character , I am not really sure about this but I can remember that the characters and the game itself was very kid - friendly , with very little blood .
-The game was a 2D sega kind of game , where you would walk , jump over stuff and I remember you had to get past enemies by punching them ?
-I remember a castle level aswell , and I believe you could change your character with other disney / cartoon characters.
-The game was pretty challanging as far as I remember . Either that or I was a noob

The thing I remember most clearly about the game was that when you left the game it would put a picture of the characters in the game , grouped in a poster style picture, and they would all say "Bye-Bye" once, and then the game would exit.

The game is pretty old aswell, it doesn't have amazing graphics or anything , it is no way newer than 2008.

I remember playing a game on Friv when I was younger and I can't remember the name of it. I think it was about this little green alien guy, walking in forest like surroundings. I'm not sure what the meaning was of this game but I remember that the alien could take over other animals brains and stuff. If anyone knows the name of this game then please reply!!

Okay so, this is going to be the most vague description of a game ever because I really don?t remember much about it. I used to play it on the computer when I was younger, I would say about maybe 2006-2008 or something like that. It had you know, a generic side view that most computer games had like Terreria. I think it was a brother and a sister that were going through a forest and they both had on red shirts. Maybe at one point you were searching for the other one? I?m not sure, it?s like a puzzle game if I remember correctly. Sorry this isn?t much of a description, but it?s like in the way back of my mind, haha. Thanks to anyone who can help me out with the name!

Hello guys first time posting in this forum

I remember playing a demo PC 3rd person shooter/blow em up game somewhere back in 2008. The first stage was set in a snowy place and as a secondary quest you had to destroy some petroleum extractors around the area. There were also some paintings you collected(i think they were all the same painting of mona lisa) that unlocked different textures in the game like big heads for every mob or big feet. In each of the 2 demo stages there was also a shop(-ing hut?) that you could change your 2 weapons.

It's driving me crazy.I hope this info helps. :'(

Here's one for you all.

I remember it being circa 2000-2002, as it came with my Gateway WindowsME pc. It was an adventure puzzle game, no enemies or monsters, that took place in various historical sites. The predominant setting was ancient egypt with no people, however, from time to time you would get a video of a high priestess talking to you or giving you hints.

I also remember that the culmination of the game ended up with you unlocking travel to Atlantis and puzzles continued there, and one of the harder puzzles for me at the time involved Isis and Horus.

What I do know, is that it is Myst styled and had a Mandela puzzle as as one of the many puzzles, another was a "connect the pipes" style with colored snakes. I also know the game files had a full walkthrough that was password locked unless you paid for it.

It's playstyle, if I recall, was click to move or if you could use the keyboard at all it was track based one tile at a time movement (fairly sure it was all mouse based) and that you could look around you at each "tile" stop.

I'm fairly certain it was NOT Timelapse, due to there being no enemies, and some of the visuals don't align with what I remember. I also know it wasn't any of the Atlantis or Beyond Atlantis series. That, and from what I recall, your character remained unknown or unspoken to by any other characters, and that there were no other members of a "team" or plot characters (also a mark against it being Timelapse)

New to this awesome thread! I'm looking for a game that was probably educational and 2D, and was a puzzle game I think (no movement, just static screens). Mostly I remember that there were 10 levels, the first of which was at a sugar cane crop, and a later one was at the Nile River. There was also maybe a level with an underwater shipwreck and one on the beach where you had to fill up drinks for a parrot or something, but I'm not sure about those. Any takers?

It's so good that this thread exists! :)

I seek a game from between 1995 and 2005. It was a very old game about the yellow characters, who craft stuff and build. It's so old I guess it's even for DOS, but could'nt find it anywhere. The characters are yellow, roundly shaped, with legs and hands (torso is also a head). I guess they could mine, build basic structures, maybe even vehicles. It had also a survival aspect, as they could be ill or smth bad could happen to them, but I don't remember more. I remember that the graphics was weak and it was a mostly dark scenery with annoying sounds.

This isn't a Lemmings game, by any chance?

No. I forgot to tell it was in 3D.

EDIT: It was in isometric projection

Maybe Riddle Of The Sphinx: An Egyptian Adventure [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riddle_of_the_Sphinx:_An_Egyptian_Adventure] or its sequel, The Omega Stone [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Omega_Stone]. Both of them involve Atlantis at the end. =)
