1)-

-This was a PC strategy game based somewhere other than earth, maybe in some other planet with futuristic weapons and units
-Had 2 factions if I remember correctly and you could select one before starting the campaign
-Had base building, resource gathering, all through machine like units.
-There were defense towers which if build near to each other, got connected automatically through lasers so that enemies couldn't enter your base if your base was surrounded by these defense towers.
-Flying units who shot lasers, land units, all had armors and stuff and looked futuristic, just like machines and robots.
-The environment was pretty plain and had some mountains and trees and terrain was up and down and stuff but didn't look like earth.
-Base building was an integral part and had all barracks and stuff etc.
Could be Perimeter and/or it's expansion Perimeter: Emperors Testament, maybe?
Though that has three factions as well..

Thank You. I was able to find the game. It was Dark Reign 2 :)

Hi guys,

I am really trying to remember the name of 2 old strategy games. I remember the gameplay and stuff but not the name. Both are from early 2000's time may be between 1999-2005 time and both are PC games.

1)-

-Base building was an integral part and had all barracks and stuff etc.

2)-

-This game was an army building strategy game somewhat like age of empires 2 but a little advanced.
-Had a Chinese theme to it.
-Had resource gathering etc by going into mines in mountains.
-Every town had a huge entry wall, gave the feeling of a castle more than a town.
-They had famines and diseases also if I remember correctly and you had to research to cancel the effects of these natural calamities.
-For attacking others you had to go out of the town wall and till the edge of the map till you arrive into a new area with a new minimap and then go into the opponent's castle area which looks similar to your castle/town with a huge wall as well.
-It was just a single CD game.
-I think the name had the word "Gold" or "golden" in it but I am not sure.

Please let me know if anyone had played similar games. I would thank u from the bottom of my heart and will pray for you. :)
Thank You everyone. I did a LOT of research and was able to find both the games.

Dark Reign 2
Fate of the Dragon.

Thanks everyone who helped :)

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if anyone will remember this game, but it was a browser based game in the mid 90's.
It was a dungeon game that had a grid map(think battleship) and each box was a new location that had items or weapons.
I think the goal of the game was to find a key to a lair and fight a final boss.
Maybe the games easier to find than I remember, but it's literally been irking me for years..

Cheers!

Im not sure this game still exist or not... but I really hope it still does cos it's kindna a memento for my childhood.

So it's a 2D web game, you could chose your weapon between Axe, Sword or Dagger, all you do is to fight your way up a tower, which you will encounter different monsters, and a boss on every 5 (as I remember) floors.
If you die, your character truly dies and you have to start from floor 1.
I believe name of this game starts with "T" , if I remember correctly.
craving for help

Guys, any luck?

Hi guys
-this was an old Shockwave.com game (I remember playing Redline Rumble around the same time)
-the closest thing to it that I could find is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=md0GKJ7gAmA
-the game from the video closely resembles the one I'm looking for, however:
-the one I'm looking for had better art style - it had charming cartoony style (vehicles, buildings - everything)
-the environment was some kind of rural farm area
-the items that had to be delivered varied in size, weight and count, but all of them realistically bounced around, could break, and could also pop out of the pick up truck (it had wooden bed AFAIR)
-I'm not sure but I think the truck was upgradeable
-there was a big arrow showing you the destination directly (like a compass), but you still had to know the best route

I miss that game and I wonder if there's any way to play it again. Also - do you know if there's a place where I could access (online or for download - I don't care, I just wanna play those games again) any of those old shockwave games, like for example the redline rumble series?

EDIT: I can't quite believe I found it, but using wayback machine to browse Shockwave.com I found it after some digging. It's called "The Mad Courier" but I can't find a way to play it - I'd be glad if you could help me with that.

This is an old PC Disc game which is very similar to TRINE.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a game that I played when I was young. It was a side-scrolling CD game on PC platform in the year of 2000s may be(or 1995-2000), actually I don't know about the release date of it. Just because of the graphic design doesn't look like the quality made in 21st century.

I've tried my best to remember most of the game details but I cant remember the name of it. Yeah its totally ridiculous that I remember lots of details besides the game name.

The starting animation is talking about a man was locked in a tower in the sky, a mage(maybe?) casted magic to free him.

Although the game is side-scrolling game, it looks like 2.5D. The background is 2D picture but your character and the enemies are 3D image. It is a kind of adventure game, and you have a health bar and mana bar on the top left hand corner.

In the game you can choose 3 types of character, a young man with sword, a young girl with staff and a man using two-handed axe.
I remember some of the default button which are "Z" and "X", "Z" is using a light attack and "X" is a heavy attack.
There are several types of magic you can use, fire , ice, lightning and recovery.
Each type of magic divided into 5 levels, I only remember fire and ice.

Fire L1: Single fire ball drop on a single enemy (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Fire L2: Fire burning on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Fire L3: Lava blast at all enemies position
Fire L4: Large explosion (Area of effect)
Fire L5: Fire from the fire phoenix (Area of effect)
Ice L1: Ice Spikes appear at a single enemy's postion (Auto targeting to nearby enemy)
Ice L2: Ice Spikes appear at all enemies' position
Ice L3: Ice wall created on the left side of right side (depends on character facing direction)
Ice L4: Ice Storm (Area of effect)
Ice L5: Ice Age (Area of effect)

And here are the stage and the boss that I try my best to remember.
Stage 1 - Forest, boss: rock golem
Stage 2 - Floor 1 , I forgot what that thing is.
Stage 3 - Below 1, boss: ice drake
Stage 4 - Below 2, boss: 2 ghost (looks like female) share 1 BOSS health bar
Stage 5 - Below 3, boss: skeleton mage(necromancer)
**And this boss I think it is a main enemy of the game because my character need to talk to him before battle.
Stage 6 - Floor 2, boss: a flying, upper body, large skeleton with both scythe-shaded hand(hand bone)
**Actually it looks like a skeleton reaper, but it is flying and only have upper body
Stage 7 - Floor 3, boss: fire drake
Stage 8 - Below 4 , I reach to the middle only.

One more thing there are 5 different BGM in the game. Each of them is used for Stage1-5 respectively. And Stage 6 use the first BGM and so on.
I just only remember the stage name and the last stage that I reached is 8.
Please help me with this, it is a memory for me and I try my best to remember the details of it.

So there's this DS game that I played as a child and for the life of me I can't remember the game. I remember that the game starts you off as a child and you get lost in a cave with your sister and you escape from all these monsters there. Also I remember that your mother is dead and you're being raised by your father who ends up dying as well and because of this you set off on a quest. I remember there being a forest level and you run Into a native of the forest an archer girl who joins your party and you fight a huge plant monster there as the boss. Other then that I don't remember much. Pls help

hi everyone, trying to find a game
You were playing in the underworld, you were a master of evil (or hell), you had as a boss your elite creature the devil , you could dig to expand your space and find gold.
You could build in your space prisons, torture room etc. You were picking up your workers with the mouse (which was an evil hand).
You were under attacks from humans.
Real time strategy game, was before of 2004 i guess

best regards

Hey guys! So I'm looking for a first-person point-and-click adventure game in a dark fantasy setting. The menu for the game had a very metallic theme with a beige/grey colour. The first thing you need to do in the game was to escape a prison using a pile of bones. After that my memory is kinda blurry but after escaping the prison you had to go to some kind of party and then mixing chemicals to make a violent potion for some reason. The game was in 3D with graphics which must be after 2000 but before 2004. One thing that I'm sure of is that there was a hot chick wearing some kind of armor. I never finished this game and I lost the CD.

That sounds exactly like Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Ring Of Fates [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E3pj_ju_aY&list=PLBWJHzwS6Z_Ejpn9ZuSuMD3YBw3bPtmPI&index=1] (except that the girly-looking archer is actually a boy). =)

Hi everyone,

My Mum and I are trying to remember the name of a game we used to play way back when. I'd estimate it was late 90s or early 2000s, back when dial up connections were still a thing and you could get some interesting built-in PC games. I mention the last part because I'm pretty sure it WAS a built-in PC game, though I could be entirely wrong because I was quite young at the time.

Essentially this was a puzzle game that revolved around swapping tiles. The things I remember EXTREMELY vividly are: it was based around a garden (or maybe a plant bed?), you were given a top down picture that the garden was supposed to look like, and you had a set number of moves and/or time limit to swap your tiles around to make the garden you had look like the image given to you.

I realise this isn't much to go on, but I can't seem to find any trace of it and I'd love to be able to replay it and see if it still stumps me now... any help would be greatly appreciated by my Mum and I! Thanks!

Hello
I'm sorry if my English is bad, but I've been looking for this game for a long time and without success
-was about robots
-the view of the game was from above (aerial, I think it's the term)
-the first level you managed a quadruped robot (although I think it was a spider)
-the first level if not bad memory was like a temple, and you started to climb (something like an inverted pyramid)
-the other levels I do not remember much but it was a factory
-Apart from the spider robot you could handle other robots but it depended on the level
-the graphics were not so 2d, I think it has some resemblance to "rise of the robot"

I'm not sure if it was a game of some console, I remember it because my cousin got me a pirated CD, in this also came the games joe & mac 2 and donkey kong country 2.
I thought it was a game of the snes but whenever I searched I found myself with the same popular games (although maybe I did not search well).

I am looking for a version of pacman game i used to play as a kid (somewhere around 2005 but i belive its older than that), this is what i recall:

Had green background, standard yellow pacman thingy eating yellow circles, with big circles allowing you to eat ghosts instead of being eaten
Had 9 levels ((maaaybe 10 but i think its 9 ) different maze shapes, first one is like in classic pacman i think)
One of the levels was pretty circular i think (still aligned to integer lattice ofc)
Had some kind of turbo that you activate manually to go faster while you held space at the expense of some kind of turbo points (marked by a horizontal red meter), which recharge over time
Had some spots where you can pick some power-ups, some of which were to skip to next level (marked with '+' symbol), go to previous level (marked with '-' symbol), get some points towards highscore, get more turbo thing, get extra life
Had some sort of portals (not like just symmetric left wall to right wall sort of thing, but like places in middle of the maze sending you to other places in middle of the maze)

Disclaimer: i was pretty young and this memory is kinda lacking both detail and confirmation (some of things i mentioned might be from different game or non existent at all, i can not guarantee against that, although it all feels like its in place), anyway, i have been looking for this for quite some time now and i really hope someone here can help me find it. Thanks in advance :)

I'm looking for an old racing game.
-Top-down view
-Similar to micro-machines
-90's or early 2000's (most likely 90s)
-multiplayer option
-most likely PC, only consoles I had at this time were Genesis

The only thing I remember that would set this game apart from others, is that between the races you could repair your vehicle.
You could pay the "shop" to have some repairs done for you - or you could do it "manually" where you played this short minigame
In this game you rotate "tiles" on a grid to try and line up what i thought was electronics and what-not, to repair your vehicle. You only had a few seconds to try and rotate as many as you could.

Been looking for this game for a long time.

Alright, so I kind of remember this game I used to play all the time in elementary school during computer lab, but I can only remember a few details about it. Hopefully someone else recognizes it, because I?m starting to think I just made it up.

The game was a 2D platformer (PC, probably a flash game)

It was the type of game you would find on a website such as miniclip or notdoppler.

I believe the background was relatively dark (maybe dark green?)

I?m pretty sure the goal of each level was to get to the final ?checkpoint? which might have been a door you walked through. You collected what I think were star-like objects (I think they were colored black) throughout the levels, and you had to get a certain amount to unlock the next door of levels in the ?hub world? (which was basically just a long platform with several doors along it). I also remember that these ?stars? obeyed the laws of gravity, frequently causing them to roll around (which was implemented into some of the levels).

Majority of the levels were made out of pretty basic shapes and components. All of the main textures might?ve had a cartoonish wood texture to them, or some plain color. A large amount of these platforms were semi ?flexible,? meaning you could sometimes squeeze your player into places and glitch them apart.

Your character had the ability to ?hold? onto things (it was either a direct grab, or using some tool to hold onto them)

There is a level with a giant wheel that has 4 rockets attached to it, and you had to move a lever (or maybe it was pushing specific buttons) a specific amount to activate the rockets (the rockets were short with red cones and gray cylindrical bodies that shot out cloudy particles when on)

There is a level where you have to push buttons in a specific order to turn all the light bulbs on and open up the way to the end checkpoint.

Once you completed all the levels (and got enough stars) you could open up a bonus area at the end of the hub world platform.

Also, I believe that the name of the game might?ve been some obscure word that started with an ?O?, like ?Oblong,? but a little different. It may have had a completely different name though, that part could?ve been just a false memory.

I played this game somewhere between 2004 and 2009

(Here is a visual representation of parts I've described): https://imgur.com/a/R3rXq

Sorry this one is so obscure. It has just been bothering me all day and I wanted to see if anyone else remembers what this is.
