Myself I think that Halo is not that bad a game. It has slick and easy to use gameplay, and the mythos is deep and rich. Yes the games tell that story poorly but other games tell their story just as badly if not worse. I think the real problem people have with it is bad online experiences, I can certainly relate with that.

Man, you know something is wrong with the world where liking Halo is unpopular...

Well, I actually think that Obsidian is a pretty good company. I loved KoTOR2 and Fallout New Vegas, and I think most of their mistakes are blown way out of proportion.

I really can't think of much else, besides that I think that games should be easy but have harder difficulty modes. I don't mind a game being challenging, but don't force it on me. Almost every game has a difficulty selection, why isn't that enough?

But that's just my opinion.

those water levels on sonic the hedgehog, if I had personally known the person who implemented those I would have lodged my gamegear in their spine.

also I think the call of duty series peaked at COD 2.....and final fantasy sucks (all of them [even VII])

I never liked Valve games.

Front Mission was the best RPG series out of Japan.

Black was the best modern warfare FPS made.

Devil May Cry 3 was easy .

Resident Evil 4 is the most overrated RE game.

Castlevania: Lament of Innocence was the best 3D game of the series.

John Cena is at the root of all the problems with the WWE now.

3D Technology is an pointless concept until the effect can experienced without the risk of eye damage.

Getting married is pointless now besides it being a tax write off .

Joining the "work force" is pointless because you can make much more money on net entertaining people.

The current grading system is schools is the reason why many kids fail and drop out.

Fighting wars is idiotic if you don't take anything from those you defeat.

I'm sorry but that is a terrible example Halo is a universally critically acclaimed video games series which is also one of the best selling video game series ever.How exactly does that mean most people don't like it ?

Not all Forums would have that reaction and quite a lot of people of on this one wouldn't Either but even if they did this site doesn't have millions and millions of viewers.whereas halo does have literally millions of people willing to pay money to play it.As far as I can see that means most people would agree halo is a good game.

Fear is a better horror game than SH2 or 3 for its ability to use active means of scarring without resorting to boo scares. SH is mostly just walking in some decrepit environments with creepy music and the occasional monster. It?s all very passive and underwhelming. Fear is actually capable of putting me in the moment.

I hate chess. Or rather, I don't like playing chess, I don't think there is anything particularly special about the game, and I hate the presumption that being good at chess makes you a smarter or better person.

There is nothing good about the Star Wars movies.

Games would be better if they were mostly linear and single player (i.e. developers treated these things as the default), rather than sandbox/multiplayer.

On balance, the internet has been a bad thing. It could still be saved, however.

Music is not old unless it is pre-WWII. Similarly, anything that came into existence after 2000 A.D. is incredibly new. So I get really confused when people say that "old music is way better than modern stuff", because I think they're referring to e.g. swing bands.

I don't see what the big deal is with Scott Pilgrim. Everyone I meet seems to LOVE that movie and the comics it's based on but I really, really dislike them. I tried to watch the movie and just found myself hating it because it comes of as trying to be too appealing to the "nerd" audience it's looking for. It seems to me that it's trying to be what some random guy's perception of the nerd culture and that guy has no idea what "nerds" actually are.

Micheal Sera bugs me and in my opinion is one of the worst actors I've ever seen. He will forever be the "nerdy guy who is awkwardly likeable" and it comes of like he's trying way too hard. He's bland, boring and predictable and he totally killed Superbad for me.

After someone crosses the age of eighty, people are not allowed to use hospitals unless they can afford to pay for the procedure or treatment without the use free health care. -communism was a good idea, screwed up by bad leaders
-i like raisin cookies
-COD is not that much of a good game, and neither of the other war shooters
-halo 3 was not that good of a game
