The ironic thing is that some people on this site are actually saying that drawing a picture on a site that one must actively seek out is "disrespectful".

It'd be like me taking a shit in my toilet and having someone enter the lavatory and peek in the bowl and complain about how disgusting I am.

A more correct analogue would be if you took a dump in a public park (and even more correct would be if it were on a bible or an American flag). I mean, people have to actually go to the park in order to see your shit. Why can't they just ignore it?

People telling me that I can't draw Muhammed is the same as saying i can't eat meat on a friday. It's taking other people's beliefs and forcing it on others. That is wrong. Double when you threaten death over a joke. Those people who did that (Revolution Muslims out of New York) should be ashamed and brought up on charges for death threats and inciting violence.

I dont see what the big deal is. Plenty of Facebook pages are plastered up to make fun of every single other God and prophet that someone might believe in. What makes Muhammad so special?
So in the name of fairness I would say they should let the page run its course, the more they fight it the more attention it gets.

Your freedom of religion ends where my freedom of expression begins. Here in the Western World, sacrilege is NOT a crime. I could post a picture of various religious figures sodomizing each other, and there is NO LEGAL ACTION WHATSOEVER that adherents of those religions could take other than call me names. At that point, however, I'd probably have a pretty strong case for a defamation of character lawsuit.

Speaking of India don't they have a couple temples where thats more or less depicted on stone wall carvings? I think i saw it on an episode of Wild Boyz awhile back.

I would have less problems with the facebook page if it was in reaction to something that westerners didn't start. We all know that south park created that episode probably knowing that they would get death threats. in fact anyone else remember their family guy episode? So this is where its at fault. I would have no problem if your being provocative in reply to something they had said. But since south park started all this by insulting a religion because they could, I have a problem with this type of provocation. (note i haven't seen the episode with mohammed in it)
