That fuck.

Seriously, I can't help but admire the guy in some respects, but he's personally responsible for crushing me to the point I no-longer look forward to games being released as I expect them to be a let-down. He's a very sensationalist man and knows how to build hype; kudos to him, he's a one-man marketing-campaign, but he's so good at his job it hurts.

I just cannot take the man at face valve, he hypes up everything, like fable 2, to the point where i think it's accaully going to be good, then it falls flat on it's face, like fable 2.

Fable 2 playtime, 1 hr 5 min, increasingly boring.

Sounds like Natal should come out for the PC as well.

Anyway, with Molyneux hyping it, it's pretty much guaranteed that the over-hyped first generation will be disappointing and not fully realised (just like he said, surprisingly enough), while the second generation will again be over-hyped when it's really just making up for some of the things which fell short in the first generation.

Marketing a bugfix isn't just a Molyneux strategy; it's a Microsoft strategy. *cough*vista*cough*

And, of course, Peter Molyneux is always spot-on with his hype.

seriously, everytime I hear molyneux's name, I picture him with giant googly eyes.

the man lives on a different plane of existence, sort of like Will Wright, but much much less successful

Every time there's an article where Peter Molyneux says something, I shake my head and can instantly write it off as overhyped spin doctoring. Somebody should pay this man to just not talk. At all. EVER.

You know what they say about the thin line between genius and craziness... That guy crossed it too long ago for me to care anymore.

And by the way, Natal is a load of shit. Don't get me wrong, there's a future for motion control, starting with complex and costly niche devices, not cheap gimmicks to cash in on the wii's success.
Have you actually done any research on Natal? Its a pretty impressive piece of Machinery, microsoft wouldnt spend all that money and build all that hype for an eyetoy. I think Natal has possibilities but there would be too many problems, like how do we pause the game? Do we just yell stop? Do we have to make a handsign? Or will we have to press a button on the machine?
Natal is also bad news for people who have small gaming spaces, there's less than a meter between my bed and my T.V.
Not to mention a lot of gamers from this generation will probably just feel stupid using their body as a controller.

You can say whatever you want about Peter Molyneux, but his nonsense is very entertaining.

Gee wiz, Peter Molyneux says this is going to be that good?

Well, I believe it, after all, he's never incredibly overhyped shit before!
Golly Gosh, I can't wait, I'm going to put in a Pre-Order right now!

Bigger than the mouse, huh? He's hyping the living crap out of this thing. He should have learned after Fable 2 not to hype things up like that. I honestly don't think pretending to hold an invisible gun is going to be better for shooters than the mouse especially considering there is no way it would be able to register as well. Motion control is a gimmick, as the Wii has shown us all, and a gimmick that never lasts. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to this future of gaming...

ACCORDING to Peter Molyneux.

So instead of making a sequel to Dungeon Keeper or making a remake of Populous, he'll be making the ultimate pedophile simulator.

Oh fuck off Peter. Nothing you say or do delivers. It may well be decent, but it can't take on a revolutionary behemoth. You're comparing THAT, to the mouse? No sir. You've officially crossed the line. You were tolerable up until this point.

It is very dark. You are likely to be eaten by Peter Molyneux's constant hype.

OK, well you're exempt. But all the Halo-tards need to pipe down and give this thing a chance.
