Huh. What's it for, then? I can't see it being comfortably used in conjunction with the trigger grip.Wadders said:-snip-

Few people do. Just make it look good and people won't question you.TheRightToArmBears said:Consider this final proof that I don't really know how guns work.
Indeed. I like how you've made a gun out of a RIS and a stock. It looks very good.sooperman said:Few people do. Just make it look good and people won't question you.TheRightToArmBears said:Consider this final proof that I don't really know how guns work.
Looks good. Dust cover needs to be flush with the barrel, though. The silencer needs to be a pixel or two higher. Otherwise, good job.TheRightToArmBears said:Consider this final proof that I don't really know how guns work.
When the squaddie is lying prone he holds the pistol grip and the grip in front of the mag for extra stability, similar to when one places ones left hand on the top of the stock in a position in front of the magazine with a normal LMG, such as this:NimbleJack3 said:Huh. What the HELL is that meant to be?Evil Tim said:Also, none of these guns are big enough.
You're on a videogame forum and you don't know what an 88mm FlaK looks like? That's worth an award of some kind.PoisonUnagi said:What the HELL is that meant to be?Evil Tim said:Also, none of these guns are big enough.
It does, thanks a bunch.Wadders said:When the squaddie is lying prone he holds the pistol grip and the grip in front of the mag for extra stability, similar to when one places ones left hand on the top of the stock in a position in front of the magazine with a normal LMG, such as this:NimbleJack3 said:Huh. You can just see the gunners left hand on the second grip, as described.
Hope that clears it all up
Never head of it... it appears to be a massive anti-tank thing.Evil Tim said:You're on a videogame forum and you don't know what an 88mm FlaK looks like? That's worth an award of some kind.PoisonUnagi said:What the HELL is that meant to be?Evil Tim said:Also, none of these guns are big enough.
I imagine it's because the charging handle on the L86 moves when it fires, and putting your hand on top of the reciever would just result in it smacking into your fingers every time you fired.NimbleJack3 said:It does, thanks a bunch.
You've avoided playing World War 2 games? Wow, I didn't think that was possible.PoisonUnagi said:Never head of it... it appears to be a massive anti-tank thing.
I've only ever seen one on the first sabotage mission of MOH: Allied Assault. Even then 'Flak 88' is said once.Evil Tim said:-snip-

You control or at least see one of these in roughly 50% of first person shooters ever made. The classic Call of Duty way is to stand on the wrong side to access the handwheels and ignore that it requires a crew of ten.
There is no suppressor, that's a flash guard. Bullpup rifles need room for the extractor and piston to work, which is why they always have thick stocks, where that is located. Whatever point the mag is inserted, you need to have space behind that. Only pistols are exempt from this. Look at the Tavor 21, F2000, mp7, Aug, any bullpup AR.blackshark121 said:Looks good. Looks like your scope can go full auto THREE TIMES!Evil Tim said:Liquid propellant rifle:
Uses a binary liquid explosive instead of a powder charge (hence the tiny magazine), with propellant tanks under the cheek rest and handguard. I have a rather detailled writeup on how it works if anyone cares.
It's electrically ignited with a firing contact seated using the forward assist (so it's outside the chamber seal until you're ready to fire). Given it's a 19.1mm anti-material rifle, it also allows you to swap out for a regular firing pin and chamber 11-gauge shotgun shells with the barrel in the carrying position. Grip's probably a bit out of scale to the rest of the rifle, but then it's just a rough, I'll make a more accurate one at some point.slopeslider said:I can imagine how it works, but what ignites the liquid? I don't think a Hammer could do it.
Maybe the hammer ignites a tiny bit of gunpowder, and that ignites the liquid?
Bah. We do not need naysayers around these parts.NimbleJack3 said:Indeed. I like how you've made a gun out of a RIS and a stock. It looks very good.sooperman said:Few people do.
