Mine doesn't look like your's. Your's is, y'know a shotgun. It's just easy to post apocalytic gun out of an ak47/svd because they sort of look like that anyway. I just wanted to try out the tape-grip thing. Thanks all the same.

Aesthetics only, you say? Either way, you have to do something about the stock. I suggest you wrap tape around the stock and tape that strap to the gun. I do like the tape handguard. That's cool.

I love the concept for your stock, though. That is pretty neat.

Thanks, but this gun won't be improved, because I forgot to download the code for it.

But I made something that has never been done before (I guess), the bayonet launcher.

P.S. The gas tube and barrel were supposed to be reversed.
Uhm how do you load the bayonet ammo into the gun? The back part of the doesn't appear to extend back far enough to load them. The design is solid, though. I like the shape.

It looks like the breech is that section at the very back and pivots upward.

I think that would work. It would still be weird to load the weapon, though.

Improved version of my last rifle.
Going for a sniper this time? The tattered look is much more believable, and the foregrip as a pistol grip actually works sort of. I'm gonna have a swing at this P-A style.

desternu said:
Uhm... You have the right idea, but you need to work on the shape. You have all of the mechanisms, but the gun looks ugly.

Here's a 4-in-1, bullpup-loading gratuitous assault rifle. Features include:
- a built-in shotgun
- a holographic sight
- laser dot aim
- flashlight attachment
- a top-mounted grenade launcher
- an under-barrel flamethrower.

The stock seems rather small, but maybe thats just me, and what's up with the trigger guard? i'm guessing it's been broken after years of wear and tear?

Here's my go at a post-apocalyptic gun. Semi-auto carbine thingy, comments and criticisms?

As a counter to my overly gratuitous ... thing earlier, here's a very standard (or almost standard) FN F2000:

Oh, there's some extra clip slots in the stock, for extra fast reloading (well, the first 2 reloads, anyway...)

Also:
- A tactical grip, attached to the grenade launcher.
- 3 types of grenades
- A scope, with a cover
- A flashlight, crammed in just under the scope
- A knife, although if you manage to mount it as a bayonet, you gotta be using some freaky magic to do it.

Check and check. The stock is a bit small, but I think it's enough. I replaced the trigger guard with something that looked more scrapped together. I suppose I should also add that I was going for an elephant gun, but it didn't turn out too well either way.

Holy hell, that thing looks brutal. Very nice wear n' tear effects; the individual parts look like they survived quite a few apocalypses. Very nice design, very awesome. This is what anyone building and P-A weapon should aim for. I really don't have criticism other than the foregrip. The placement is just weird.

Well, um, you got the recreation pretty well. You missed the little gas tube-looking thing above the barrel, though.

Calm down with the tape dude! That doesn't look P-A, it looks like Red Green needed somewhere to put all his tape. You didn't even get the old and worn-down feel that the style goes for. Check out what Wadders designed.
