I'm inclined to agree with both of these. World 3 in demon's souls was tense at first, and then just an exercise in tediousness. World 5 I have been able to mostly get past with ease by just equipping the regenerator's ring and adjudicator's shield (and a blessed weapon if I'm playing a faith build), but the leechmonger, giant depraved ones, and the fact that the swamp only inhibits your movement turn me off of the level completely. Not to mention that world 3 and 5 are absolutely boring to look at.BanicRhys said:World 3 and 5 in Demon's Souls.
The industrial area in inFamous 2.
It was the atmosphere, considering it wasn't trying to be a horror FPS, but ended up feeling like the Silent Zombie Apocalypse Hill, it did fucking well.trollpwner said:TerribleAssassin said:Ravenholm.
Never again.
NEVERHURR HURR.Some Random Tosser said:I really REALLY hate Ravenholm. Headcrabs scare me and I'm reluctant to ask for someone to sit with me as my incredibly bratty and annoying sister always asks me for help and I want to set an example. I played through half of Ravenholm by having the game in Windowed Mode with Guile's Theme playing in the background, but when I caught my first glimpse of a Poison Zombie, I was 'screw that' and I turned off the game.
I know ignorant post is ignorant, but what Ravenholm really that scary?
Once you found the sawblades or got the shotgun, the whole thing was trivial.....
I think I could potentially one-up you on this matter, as my personal choice is the universal "Industrial District".Worgen said:sewers, they are almost universally boring
