Name: William Arnup

Age: unknown

Race: Faerie (imagine a human, then make him thinner, taller, and with pointy ears. Give his hair a habit of defying gravity and his eyes a habit of changing colour. Give him and odd look in his eyes as if he's looking through you at somehting more real. Bear in mind these are essentially humans who have been spread rather thin by massive amounts of magic used regularly byy an entire race. As such they have an afinity for magic, and are physically weak but fast)

Appearance: Tall an slim, William stands at 6'5", with a mane of ginger-brown hair that floats as if ignorant of gravity. His face is serene and beautiful, but beautiful like a mask; it almost seems false, such is the calmness and surety he exudes. He walks as if he only happens to be touching the floor by coincidence.

Role: Immortal

Equipment: Will wears a loose top and trousers in an odd material, resilient but smooth and graceful. It has strips of metal sewn in, able to turn aside a slash, but not prevent a stab. For a weapon, he carries a cane which looks purely ornamental, but is weighted with lead and carries an surprising degree of weight when swung, easily enough to stove in a man's head. From the handle can be drawn an elegant sword, though it is more a tool of grace than a heavy duty broadsword
whats this? an original name? That's a sign of the apocalypse.
Hey, can I add an extra weapon?

Will will also carry a double crossbow, inaccurate at long range, but deadly in close range. However, it takes time to reload, so only two shots will be available in a given skirmish, unless he can get to safety for a moment.
Wow, you are a natural at this sort of stuff aren't you?

Oh I see, you get all your knowledge from UR. Well played good sir, well played.

I search, for this Rp, to finally get started! probably not for a little bit though.

Not at all, though I enjoyed it muchly. I got my skills form a combination of trial and error (I've been lurking this RP section for ages now) and innate awesome (you cannot comprehend the size of my ego)

I am not, however, the best, or even close. There are other, even more powerful beings at work, such as the inestimable Yorgmeister and demonic ExcitedNuke. I am but the wizard who crouches in the tiny circle of firelight we call reality and mouths the names of greater powers

Hell to it! I have to go to sleep, and yet I wish to have this place.

...

I shall post what I have already, as a teaser, and complete it tomorrow!

Name: Leonart Arimat Edgarus III (But his friends call him Leo)

Age: 67 (about 19 when compared with a Human's lifespan)

Race: Kaiman (Your usual human plus a few extra qualities. They are usually a bit taller than humans, though no more thin, and have tanned skin, darkened hair, amber or golden eyes.

Kaimans have a reputation for being crafty, sneaky bastards who could blend in just as well with a flock of Pink-tassled Baroc as they could with a Gretuska and murder the entire lot of them before they noticed they were being shot at. Then they would drag the lot of them back home and proceed to eat them as their three square meals a day for the next couple of months.

They also have a reputation for stretching the truth and going overboard with their fantastic stories.)

Appearance: Leo is the goddamned authority on hunting, having written enough books about the subject and killed enough creatures to stock a small library and mount heads on every inch of the wall, so he bloody well looks like it. He's 6'5", garbed in personalised armour that looks like something from a fashionista's worst nightmare but a hunter's best friend. His hair is unusually light for a Kaiman, a brown tinge reflected ----

Role: Hunter

Equipment: He wears the usual hunter's garb, tanned leather sewn expertly together to give maximum protection while sacrificing no mobility, with a few added spoils which include a cape and brooch made from the bodies of animals he has killed. Baroc, eygars, baby drogan, you name it and he's probably got some of it's fur in his cape, and perhaps a bit of their skeleton holding it in place. He has a metal pad, on his right shoulder, with a little flame designed crest embedded onto it and the letters "Z.A.M.S", though he refuses to tell you what this means and similar pads on his knees and a metallic mesh over his chest.

His longbow is a similar affair. He took a perfectly bog standard longbow and set to work customising it. As such a large blue Gebaroc feather winds from the top to the bottom, a red Sibaroc one running in the opposite direction, both providing enough strength to prevent the bow from snapping or breaking as an arrow is drawn back. A drogan tooth sticks from the bottom, allowing him to stand it up in the ground (if the ground is suitably soft and stable) or stab people without having to fumble for another weapon.

The quiver he keeps his arrows in gets the same treatment, to expect otherwise would be foolish. He has put two quivers together, holding them with an unidentifiable type of ribcage and wrapping them with ironweed, an anti-rust herb.

Yes, there is more to come. You want to change those monster names, fanklok? You go ahead and change them. Just let me know.

Name: Haseo De Infernus

Age: 157 years

Race: Human/demon hybrid (See bio)

Appearance: 6'7" with blackt hair and azure blue eyes that seem to flicker with fire. Strange runes run along his body, ending at the shoulders and the tips of the extremities.

Role: Sword Master

Equipment: A longsword, about 4 inches across and 4 feet long. the hilt and handle are both black. The pommel of the sword is a spike which can be launched then retrieved via a chain hidden within the handle. but the blade is a deep blue, with a silver stripe running down the middle. However, where most blades end in a point, this blade ends in a round curve. It is an executioner's blade. He wears a black cloak over blue and silver plate armor, which has designs of raging flames.

Bio: When Haseo turned 17, he went out into the world to carve his name into history. 6 years later, Haseo was one of the greatest swordsmen in the world. He took a quest to help a beseiged city. When he arrived, he discovered that the city was being terrorized by none other than the Demon Emperor Inferno, strongest of the four Demon Emperors. He set off, undismayed, towards the caves where Inferno was known to abide. Haseo found and challenged Inferno. They fought for three days and three nights. On the final night, Inferno had separated Haseo from his sword and was prepared to deal the final blow. Haseo rushed forward and grabbed Inferno, grinning though he was being burned alive. While he was running towards Inferno, he had picked up his sword. Haseo pieced his own heart, spearing the heart of Inferno in the process. Inferno let out a roar that seemed as if it could be heard from the other side of the world. He glowed bright blue then disappeared. However, Haseo did not die. Even as he pulled out the sword, his mortal wound healed instantly. Haseo's mind was assaulted by Inferno. Haseo's body began to glow with the same runes that appeared on Inferno, and his hair changed color from gold to black and his eyes from emerald green to azure blue. Haseo spent another fortnight fighting off the onslaught of Inferno. On the forteenth day, victory was his, and Inferno was trapped within Haseo. From the moment his heart was pierced, Haseo has not aged a day in the nearly 200 years he has spent upon this earth.

Ha ha! I am finished.

we still need a priest and an architect before we can get started

and uhh xero while I don't mind the whole character idea let's dial down the age about 4800 years and go with ultra decelerated aging rather then ageless

also, haseo is not exactly ageless. He needs to kill other demons and take their energy to stay alive.

Do we need the whole party of characters or is it where we can get X amount of people and start? This isn't because I am impatient, I just wanna know so I know when we will probably start.

needs all 6, and since we don't have a priest or an architect yet you'd all be wandering through the first dungeon completely blind (per say) and with no one to heal you when you run into all the traps you can't see

Name: Ross Terrias
Age: 54
Race: Human

Appearance: A rather thin and ill looking creature whit large round dirty spectacles concealing small, dark eyes that flash with intelect and greed. His outfit is an old and worn blue robe which is several sizes to small for him and hangs just under his knees, wich contrasts with his huge cloak that trails behind him. His footwear is nothing special, just some old caligae sandals (Roman sandals). His face is sunken, his cheekbones are prominent and his noes is crooked. He is relatively fit, and looks rather middle-eastern in colour.

Role: Architect, duh.

Equipment: A small pack full of tools and gizmos, a worn robe and a very long and comfotable cloak, perfect for sleeping in on those looooong winter nights.

Should I give him a little backstory maybe? Also, don't make me talk about the gizmos. My guy is useless enough, i may as well be alowed a magical bag from which i can pretty much get anything from.

Revolverwolf returns, his profile longer than it was before and yet still his voice can be heard, the walls echoing the words "I require knowledge, mortals!"

As a hunter I fully expect Leo to be well-versed with capturing animals, both lethally and non-lethally, and so I require the permission for the use of said traps from you.

What say you, fanklok? Is Leo proficient in the use of traps (and the spotting of them, since he would recognise them) or is he doomed to a hunter's life without?

Sorry, I just wanted to tell you it probably would be best to put it in a spoiler box. Oh, and someone else has given there character a Bio, so I guess so.

Very well, I'm just glad that someone is there for all our trap-finding needs.
