Actually, I think he wanted to join the Empire, what with his talk of leaving Tattooine and enrolling at the Academy. But the whole family being murdered kinda put a damper on that.

I go in the other direction. I have been so used to forums before the entire GG explosion, that now I have a hard time coming back to them because chans are so much faster. And there are enough mostly-dead-chans around that you could always move a discussion to a dead one and take it over until it was finished. (back when /pol/ was called /n/ I used to do that a lot. Thread would begin saging within 10-15 minutes, so a big discussion moves into krautchan or hispachan and takes over their /int/ board for the rest of the day.)
I mostly wheel by escapist for the podcasts and yahtzee. Especially on train rides.
