Pokemon Black and White: Who's your favorite Pokemon so far?

I only got White today, and I've only played it for an hour or so. At the moment, besides Oshawott, I like this little guy a lot at the moment.

It needs to be set to WEP not WPA.

i haven't played it yet, but Bisharp (I think that's the name) looks pretty badass. It sucks you have to beat the game before you can catch him.

Mine would be Volcarona followed in at a close second by Hydreigon.
Raising a Volcarona at the moment, while Hydreigon is currently my most powerful and easily one of the most overpowered pokemon I've come across, if you have the patience to train it.

Chandelure which I had nickname my CandleJack. His special attack stats is huge so he pretty much lay waste to most Pokemon I had come up against!

i haven't played it yet, but Bisharp (I think that's the name) looks pretty badass. It sucks you have to beat the game before you can catch him.

Well, if you want to ONLY get Bisharp yeah, but you can catch Pawniard (his pre-evolve form) on the route west of the dragon gym city.

Bisharp helped like none other against the elite 4.

I can't look at any other posts on this thread as I'm avoiding looking at the new pokemon online until I meet them on the game, makes it more fun that way!

Anyhow, I've beaten 4 gyms so far and my favourite pkmn so far is without a doubt the adorable little Dwebble!

So, I FINALLY got Pokemon White yesterday, and I've been playing it like hell since. I'm currently at the town with the third gym, and I think I may have ALREADY found my favorite pokemon for this gen: Throh.

This guy beat the crap out of the second gym leader, and he's a friggin tank. Plus, I've always had a soft spot for fighting types.

So, for all you Black and White owners, who's your favorite so far, and how far are you?

Yeah, Throh comes in second for me. Caught one at level 15 and between him, Krookodile and Samurott, I steamrolled everybody.

Plus, he's a Judo Pokémon and knows Mountain Storm (AKA Mountain Throw, which is fucking great). As someone from a family of martial artists and Judoka, that means something - It's also my favourite throw!


As for favourites of the new Pokés, it has to be:

Fun to use, and pretty useful. Plus, his pre-evolution is goddamned cute.

Absolutely this. Volcarona is damned cool, and absolutely fucking lethal. I'd go so far as to say it outperforms some of the pseudo-legendaries.

Hydreigon is probably the most overpowered Pokémon in the game. Immunities to two of the most damaging types, resistances to a bunch of others, 15 of the types learnable, obscene attack and special attack stats, and a meaty speed stat.

It's WORTH the time spent training him. I'd hate to see what a perfectly EV'd one of those would do.

I'm playing through pokemon Black at and these two would have to be my favourites.

I first got this guy as a level 11 Roggenrolla and he's been part of my team ever since. Has saved my ass so many times. He's now a level 45.

Also I love Emolga, probably the second most powerful pokemon in my party, the first being my Samurott. Also I like the fact that despite being a lighting type ground moves, which are lightings main weakness have no effect on him, due to his flying sub type. Also Volt switch comes in handy.

Also speaking of volt switch, did any one else not find it annoying, how gym leader Elesa used the move over and over again, made it difficult to inflict damage. Although I took her Zebrastrike out easily, it was her Emolga's that were a ***** to fight.

Oh, well that's good to know. I would have played the game already, but I don't have a DS, so I'm just waiting to by the 3DS and then play.

She was a cheap ***** with 2 Emolgas like that.

I decided this before I ever got the game.

As soon as possible, I put her (mine is female) in my team and have loved her ever since.
As a poison/bug, she's not that strong, but I don't care!

I had a Scolipede on my team throughout my playthrough, she steamrolled through everything with Steamroller

Had one of these too, cute little electric spider <3, this generation must of been the only one I had bug pokemon in my team all the way through

Unfortunately, I'm not sure. I'm useless at that sort of thing. I think it's a WPA though.
