God, someone remembered There Will Be Brawl, at least.

Rest In Peace, you badass ************. You made one of the best cartoons growing up. Thank you.

Today is a sad day for the fans....but I'm gonna say that this current season we're on isn't...really that all great.

The first 3 are good, really good.

Now...Now its down hill : (

I'll remember your work...I'll remember the originals...very close to my heart.

I do too...it's also..just kinda sad memories of that as well....

Still, Remember this man fondly, the original pokemon series was good, when they started the 4th series of pokemon, it really did go down hill...well you'd only notice it in the 4th, but in the 3rd were the signs of it failing to uphold the originality.

This sucks.
May this great man who shaped a fair amount of my childhood and therefore some of who I am today rest in peace.

I watched the first and second seasons growing up and loved them, I was a huge poke'freak like everyone else thanks to him. But sadly, my love of pokemon is dying, I'm simply too old and the appeal has completely worn off, I may just play Heartgold today though to honor this poor man who shaped the childhood of so many kids around the world.

Awww...shit. And I was having a good day, too.

He was with the show until 2002? What point was that in the show? Late Johto?

Makes more sense to be linking the original Japanese version of the opening, imo.

Depends. In Japan, Hoenn started as early as September in 2002.

wow... sad... Pokemon was probably the first thing that really got me into being a nerd... in fact at age 19 i still have a poster with the original Pokemon hanging on my wall... more cause i'm to lazy to take it down but still... Though i never knew his name till now he was an iconic figure in my childhood and he will be missed

I feel guilty that I never knew his name until now.

Rest in peace Mr Shudo, may all your Pokemon wishes come true in the afterlife. Hey, maybe there are a couple of Charmanders in heaven or something?
