That's sad. I really loved the first season of the TV series, and still play the games today.

Takeshi Shudo, you will be missed.

R.I.P. Also thank you for some of the best anime ever. The first season was all I would watch. Thank you for the awesome episode where James buys a magikarp in a golden ball.

A SubAriados Hemorrhage!

It's such a shame, he was responsible for those first few episodes that added a dimension of magic to the Pokemon universe for me as a young adolescent.

RIP Mr Takeshi Shudo. :(

I loved Pokemon back in the day, still do actually. It was the first anime I ever saw. It's what got me into the genre, so thank you good sir, thank you.

Rest in peace, Mr. Shudo.

Even though you didn't know it, you have influenced, and still influence, my life. I tip my hat to you.

Aw damnit... those early episodes were a good chunk of my childhood and really helped me get into anime in general. Rest in peace good sir and thank you for your work on this series.

No...

This sucks. I hate this.

Now we just have to *gag* work with the writers they have right now.

Well, I better continue to ignore the anime now. Its just a shame the guy who made the first few seasons resonate with my childhood is gone now. I shall now go visit the Pokemon tower in Yellow and morn you for about three minutes before going back to reality.

So that's why Pokémon was so repetitive at the Jhoto season (and beyond) the writer didn't work on it!

:'( that's a shame, really. I hope god will take care of him when he tells him the REAL Pokémon story.
