24 hours is what I grew up with, but it doesn't really matter to me.
Fun fact for the 12h users though; when we speak about the clock, at least here in Sweden, we don't say "See you at 17 o' clock!", we say "See you at five o' clock!".

12 hour.

24 is more practical, sure. But my mind is stuck on 12 hour. Whenever someone says "14:00 hours" I still have to translate it to "2:00 pm" before it makes any sense to me.
Most people that grow up with the 24hr system will give the time in 12hr format as standard.

I have never heard anyone speak time in 14hr format, that would be weird.
I did a stint with the army. They all talked in 24hr time. It was kinda odd.

Both.

24 in written format, 12 when speaking, usually. That's just the way it works in Germany. No confusion about anything, both come natural. So hooray for Germans I guess.

Wow.. Are people actually getting confused by 12 hour time?

"Hey, lets meet up tonight. Hows 8 for you?" surely you don't have to think about if that is 8am or pm.

I think in 24-hour time, but communicate in 12-hour time because it's faster.

12 hour is best for me, as it's what everyone else uses, and is what I grew up with. I'm too lazy to start using 24 hour. >_>

Military time makes perfect sense to me, but everyone looks at you funny when you say that you'll see them at 16:00 hrs. Also, no 24 analogue clocks.

I can use both with ease, but I'd much rather stick everything I can on to a 12hr, I think because that's what I grew up on and have always been around.

I can read both without really having to think about it, but I see 24h much more often that I do 12h. 24h is all over my PC, my phone, and much more.

Feels wrong to say "We'll meet back here at seventeen'o clock/seventeen oh oh/seventeen hundered." I use 12h in speech, 24h in writing (usually).

I use both, depending on context and how specific the time needs to be. The buss departs at 14:35. I'll come by your hose at half past six.

24 hour. Makes me feel like a badass when I say I'll see you at 0700. Like I'm going on a mission or some shit.
You do know that 0700 is not 24hr time but Army time?

Most sane people that use 24hr would still call 7:00 for seven o'clock, incidently most of us also cal 19:00 for seven o'clock.

But writing 7:00 and 19:00 remove any confusion.

I personally hate the 12hr because I can never remember which is what of am and pm...
Ya I know, but given the choice of saying 0700 and 7:00, I'll easily go with 0700, due to it making me feel like a navy seal. Especially when all your friends do it too. It's all for fun.

I find 12hr easier since that's what all face clocks are but I have my watch's digital readout to 24hr... 24hr is better IMO. None of that silly AM/PM crap.

Dyscalculia runs in my family - so 12hr, needless to say.

My watch frequently switches itself to 24hr. So annoying, because I get sick of counting on my fingers all day just to find out what time it is.

I use the 24 hour system. Everyone here does.

No one says "Oh-seven hundred". Or, like, "Twenty three hundred". 7 AM is just "seven". 7 PM is just "seven". 23:00 is eleven. 14:00 is two. That's how it goes.

But wait, maybe I'm missing the point. My god.

I should be the one saying 0700 and 2300 and stuff!
