Subbed all the way! The only dubbed series I managed to endure was FMA. Im watching Brotherhood (the remake) subbed since it wouldnt be released for ages dubbed! I think it takes away from the show when its dubbed - and half the time the voices are downright strange 0.o

Depends, sometimes it will be subbed, sometimes when I'm tired or don't mind the American voices I'll go with dubbed.

dubbed. In my experience the voices are fucking fine.
Exactly. Thank god there are some people not spouting crap :D well done

OT: "Subbed voices are more emotional" "Subbed voices capture the characters better"
Blah blah fucking blah.
I guess its all personal opinion but i find this to be absolute bullshit. My friends all watch subbed so i make a point of listening to the subbed voices of animes i've finished and liked so that i can make a decision on which voices i prefer and although some japanese voice actors are pretty damn good for the most part i prefer dubbed. To give any1 who is bored enough to read this an idea of what i mean i watch these animes.

Code Geass
Bleach - For the most part better dubbed, Cpt Mayuri of squad 12's english voice is PERFECT
Ergo Proxy
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Darker Than Black
Elfin Lied - Haven't checked out the subbed for this one, but... i dunno. I voices sound like they've been recorded in low quality and they're only average voice actors but... it has a strange.. sort of more realistic charm to it in dubbed.

When They Cry

... When they cry is the main reason i don't listen to subs. The voices were bland and just plain awful in the subbed... i could barely stand getting through the second season (only did because of the story, and because they are taking ages to dub it).

There are a lot of good english voice actors that you can really imagine as the characters, that bring across good emotion and IMO outdo the Japanese voice actors. I guess maybe the animes watched by most subbed lovers are ones i tend to avoid so i wouldn't know how good or bad the english or japanese voices sound.

I prefer subbed. I watched pokemon and Dragonball z+gt dubbed though since I was a child. Years later I tried watching DBZ in Japanese but the guy voicing Goku sounds like he was kicked in the nuts, and I mean real hard.

I generally dislike dubs, it just doesn't connect, sentences drag out too long or too short to adjust to the mouth movements and get filled with filler words.
