Yes. It took a while for me to see the appeal (about five or six episodes), but I have since become a fan. Pinkie Pie and her utter insanity are my favorite part of that show, followed closely by Rainbow Dash's ambiguously-lesbian awesomeness.

I watched the first two episodes just cause I figured I should, and I could take it or leave it.
I, too am intrigued about the hype surrounding the show so I'll look up the pilot at some point
