Definitely Heath for me. One of the very few villains that actually scared me and he improved the Dark Knight with his incredable performance.

They're all good in their own way. I don't know about Richardson and Bennett but Hamill was the voice, Nicholson was the clown and Ledger was the psychopath. Romero was the... guy who... he was on the TV series, that's got to be worth something.

Shallow as it may be, this is the first reason I dislike the Ledgoker:

& the other reason I hate ALL of the movie Jokers:

I wanna see someone who actually LOOKS like the Joker try, like Doug Jones.

Doug Jones looks like anyone or anything, I don't see how he's particularly more Joker-ish than anyone else.

I liked that Crow + Beetlejuice = Ledgoker pic though - quite good maths in my opinion. :)

Heath L no contest. Awesome actor have been following his career for years; batman begins is such a good film ^^
Yes, it's a shame that Heath, you know, wasn't in it.

Mark Hamill all the way. He's the Joker I grew up with, and he is the Joker my children shall grow up with. It will take some work, but I swear I shall collect all the episodes for viewing pleasure.

Well, Doug looks like the new Grant Morrison Joker, now that the classic Joker is dead.

I saw Dark Knight with Omega. She insisted he looked like the Crow, I insisted he looked like Beetlejuice. Needless to say, that ruined the movie for both of us because we couldn't stop thinking about that.

Hamill without a doubt. "Laughing Fish" is my favorite animated episode of any series ever. He was great in "Almost Got Him", too.

However, for live action I have to go with Romero. I know it's not the sexy answer, but his Joker was the same Joker that had been appearing since the 40's (Yeah, they say the campy Batman started in the 60's but it was around long before then) and some of his stories were actually based on comic books such as "The Joker's Utility Belt". I also liked Nicholson as the Joker, but most of that was I just liked the chemistry he and Keaton had.

Ledger was great in his role, but it wasn't the Joker. He didn't care if people thought he was funny, which is a Joker trademark. I mean he's been beaten many times because someone made him think he wasn't funny. Like I said, LOedger was great in his role as a psycho, but he wasn't a very good Joker.

Also in a Christmas episode of the animated series he sang "Jingle bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg. Batmobile lost its wheel and Joker got away!"
OMG THATS WHERE I GOT THAT VERSION FROM! I SANG THAT ALL THE TIME IN PRESCHOOL

Mark Hamill but please use the search bar this thread as been done before. I mean you have been here for about 4 months you'd think this was something that you'd realise.
I suppose, but redundancy seems par for the course on this site.
Yes well just because so many other people on the forums are so zealous in ressurecting old threads doesn't mean you have to though.

Oh relax, threads get repeated every day, and this is one of the least severe offenses of repeating a thread I think I've ever seen, in fact, sometimes it's good to repeat if it hasn't been done in a long time, people who didn't see it before can see it, and new people my have a new perspective.
If the thread is ancient then fair enough but this was done within the last year I'll be able to live with something that was at least a year old and they actually have a link to the thread so to show they actually did use the search bar. That would be alright as yes fair enough as you said it hasn't been done in awhile let be done again see the new perspective. When you get things being repeated in the space of a few months, weeks or even days you do get very sick of repeat threads.

I like Heath Ledger just because his version was real. If any murderer is crazy enough to dress up like a clown in real life I think that's exactly what they'd be like]/i].

Have you ever heard of John Wayne Gacy? Look him up.

Hahaha still a good film.
I never got on with any TV versions of batman. Just don't think the quality is up to scratch. Comics or films...and even the films are a bit lacking sometimes.

Its hard, i love the look and laugh of Heath's Joker, but Hamill's voice is the difinitive joker voice for me. so its really a 50-50 for me
