I thought about hitman but because I am terrible at the stealth aspect I wrongly catoragrised it to a shooter.blindthrall said:WTF?! James Bond but no Hitman? I hated stealth until I played Hitman.
Yeah but i don't like other options on polls because they don't add anything to the poll, those people voting for other can be for anything so it is pretty pointless to add, whereas i can vote for my favorite on the list and add a vote that has a point.Robert Mason said:Hence the other selection.Acidwell said:You are sadly lacking thief but in its absence i would say mgs, although it does seem to have lost a bit of stealth over the years it is still better than good
I was really bad at stealth when I started playing it. I would find a defensible position and open up on the first slob I saw. But then I stepped back and started watching the patrol routes, and I realized that is was actually easier to do the stealth. By the end of Contracts and Blood Money, I was getting Silent Assassin every time. Still can't do it in Hitman 2 though, damn India missions.Robert Mason said:I thought about hitman but because I am terrible at the stealth aspect I wrongly catoragrised it to a shooter.blindthrall said:WTF?! Yeah I keep hearingabout this game. I'll look into it.tellmeimaninja said:I've heard Thief did it well, but never having played it, I'll go with Splinter Cell.
Conviction is looking a lot less stealthy, though.
I made walkthroughs for all the Splinter Cell games, and I never even knocked anyone out unless the story required itSakSak said:The only game so far to have done true stealth correctly (ie. functions) while being fun as heck:

Stealth, as in 'enemy doesn't know anyone visited until the next morning when lights come on (if even then), and they can never point the finger at you with any kind of evidence'- stealth.
Not stealth as in 'sneak into a corner in a room filled with enemies, then slaughter them all' -wannabestealth.
Everything or Nothing had some stealth-oriented sections. Mostly it meant using a tranq gun instead of a P99 and only fighting one guy at a time, so it was stealth in a sort of bullshit sense of the term.Robert Mason said:Has anyone played a James Bond game with a stealth mechanic.
