Blonde's in last place by a mile for me. Now it can be made up for with a lot of other things that I care more about, but if you only want to focus on that one item, then yeah, blonde sucks.

Whoah!

Turned my ideas upside down.

I've always loved redheads and was confused whenever people in england were calling them "ginger" in a bad way :S.

I approve of the results so far.

Blonde 13% (24)
Brunette 40.5% (75)
Redhead 46.5% (86)

PS: fiery redhead + deep blue eyes = *faint*

Harley Q, my friend, you're not going to get a very accurate poll is this how you obtain your statistics. First off, you left out "black hair", "unnatural dye" and "no preference" options, so your poll is incomplete. Second, the place where you take your poll is very important. You're not getting "the most popular hair colour today", you're getting "the most popular hair colour today, as preferred by white, heterosexual, male gamers age 15-30" (this is the escapist's core demographic). If you want a more unbiased poll, you should include all hair options and poll people randomly on a street that's frequented by all types of people (rich/poor, old/young, male/female etc). Also consider breaking up the information you get into male/female answers, as people are always interested to find out what the opposite sex prefers.

If this was just a poll for the sake of fun on the internet, I wouldn't bother explaining how to avoid overly-biased statistics and all that, but if you're going to use the results of this poll for a class, you ought to make them as accurate as possible (no poll can be truly, 100% unbiased, but you can get close). Also remember that the larger your sample size, the more accurate your information. Polling 100 people, for example, will give you more accurate results than polling 10.

When it comes to looks, I prefer blue-haired girls. However, if I can only choose the ones in the poll, I'd say brunette.

Doesn't really matter with me. But if I had to choose, I'd choose a brunette (or whatever you call people with black hair).

Redheads, as long as its natural ginger, i don't like the way died hair looks anyway but bright red hair just looks odd to me. Followed by Blonde then Brunette. Although as long as the girls 'my type' (which i cant be bothered to put down it doesn't really matter that much.

Disclaimer-Obviously personality is much more important but i assume we're talking about Physical attraction.

Well I'd say regular redheads would be like Christina Henricks; gingers are used to describe the ones with lighter red hair that usually accompanies pasty freckly skin.

And not to generalise or anything, but Ewh...

Christina Hendricks is smoking though.

Redhead all the way. Why? My girlfriend is a redhead and there's no-one hotter!
Same with my girlfriend! Redheaded girls are seriously hot.

Well in their own way.... I was going to put most girls are pretty but that sounded dickish to me.
I wouldn't say dickish. I'd say reasonable. Have standards, and be proud of them my friend, show the world you have self-respect and confidence. Then go get yourself a gorgeous, intelligent young woman =D
(That's how it works. That order.)

A couple of years ago, I would've said redhead, but then I met my fiancee who is a ridiculously hot blonde, so their appeal has grown on me.

For your consideration:
Tricia Helfer as Six in Battlestar Galactica
Kaley Cuomo as Penny in Big Bang Theory
Mia Wasikowska as Alice in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

What the hell is wrong with blondes?

was not expecting those results.
my order would be bright Red, Golden blonde, Shiny dark brown, then all other colours.
Was expecting the exact opposite to results above, could the guy doing the survey find out if this is a demographic thing, and gamers have different preferences or if that's just how people feel?

Brunette (especially black). Something about the dark color is sensual and alluring yet strong and practical.

I don't prefer a hair-color. But the stupid ***** who cheated on me was a Brunette so that's at the bottom.
Your going to run out of options pretty damn quickly if a hair colours out whenever a girl of that colour fucks you over.

I was not expecting redheads to be at the top, at all. They're alright though, just not blonde.

Just has that.. flare to it, y'know?

Already found that women(Extremly beautifly, light brown skin with prefect black hair and a singing voice couldn't have asked for more)! I'm not about putting others down. I have my standards and keep them to myself.
