Anyway, I just got my first facial piercing ever, a septum. I don't plan on getting any other facial piercings for the moment, though I do want a tattoo right below my neck eventually.
So, Escapians, do you have any body modifications? Piercings, tattoos, whatever? Why/why not? And could you show the rest of us?
Here's mine:
Myself, I have multiple japanese kanji on my body. I have warrior and survivor on my forearms... Teacher, power, sword, and War on my shoulder along with a fist, some lightning, and the Imperial and Rebel symbols from Star Wars all blended in... Discipline on what was SUPPOSED to be a frigging stone tablet just below that, but the dude goofed on the damn tablet part and it honestly looks to me like a cabbage, and I have a big scorpion on my other shoulder, because I am a scorpio.
HAHA, are you going to leave the cabbage or are you planning to do something about it?

its not as wobbly in the flesh as it looks lol I was drunk when that pic was taken and didn't hold my arm very straight
I've also got a neverwinter logo (same arm I'm building up to a sleeve of video game stuff eventually)
and on the other side I have a custom half sleeve from a very talented artist
in my home town (want some more work from him but his waiting list is 18months atm!)

voted none. I do have a nice collections of scars, however since these were all accidental, I don't think they count as body modifications ^^

I was watching the National Geographic channel and they were talking about a tribe in some 3rd world country that has some meditation technique that makes it so they can injure themselves, but it doesn't bleed or hurt. The rest of the reasons are that I like the look of it(it's grown on me), my face is quite boring and I can't wear make-up because my face just can't handle it. Especially not eye make-up, makes me look like a drug addict.
Got none, Thought of maybe getting a tatoo but never concluded on what I wanted and I do not want to be one of those people who go to a bad artist who does a horid job of it resulting in larger and more elaborate cover up jobs.

I'm not interested in any "modifications", except tattoos. The problem with a tattoo, is that I would never be able to decide what to get, and once I did, I'd always end up regretting not getting something else (Even if it was 10-20 years later).

Nope I've never had any body modifications what so ever. I toyed with the idea of getting tattoos, but it just doesn't suit me. There are only 4 things I'd be willing to have carved into my flesh.
