Our country has about a 52% divorce rate. Which means over half of all marriages end in divorce.
If we really want marriage to be sacred, then divorce should be illegal. But that will never happen because that would be the whole "separation of Church and state" thing.
If we can't outlaw divorce based on religious "sanctity", then we shouldn't be able to use the Bible to justify saying that gay marriage is wrong.
