I just got a wisdom tooth in.Slayer_2 said:No, and I like it that way. Having no foreskin would probably either hurt when your dick touches your pants or you'd lose lots of sensitivity down there.
Doesn't Revelations say something about Heaven not accepting the uncircumcised?Ignignoct said:Old Testament says do it.FinalGamer said:Very few people in Europe are circumcised, to us it's something only the Jews do. Why most Americans do it despite most being Christian I have no idea. There's no benefit to circumcision and the Bible says nothing about it (but I could be wrong so if someone can pull up a Bible quote, be my guest).
The only reason girls (or guys if you prefer) wouldn't like the sight of it, is they've never seen one so they think it's freakish, when in actual fact, it should be the opposite. A healthy penis should have foreskin. Okay it's a lil droopy and shrivelly-looking but dammit it was there in the first place and doesn't kill ya like an appendix.
New Testament says it doesn't matter.
Not sure why the Christians cherry-picked the OT verse. Must've been to justify existing tradition.
(I am not circumcised, but I will be)DirkGently said:The only medical reason to be circumcised was to reduce the chance of bacteria growing inside the foreskin, which is easily avoid by cleaning it in the shower, which most guys do anyway, so the only reason nowadays is religious, and they're not real good reasons to mutilate a child's genital organs.
It's a painful healing process, or so I've been told. Unless you have hemophillia, you should be fine, if a little uncomfortable for a week or so.MightyReis said:And after reading this...I am bit scared about the pain I'll feel..
It isn't talking about physical circumcision.Flying-Emu said:Doesn't Revelations say something about Heaven not accepting the uncircumcised?Ignignoct said:Old Testament says do it.FinalGamer said:Very few people in Europe are circumcised, to us it's something only the Jews do. And yet, most parents mutilate their son's genitals before this would even be an apparent issue.MightyReis said:(I am not circumcised, but I will be)DirkGently said:The only medical reason to be circumcised was to reduce the chance of bacteria growing inside the foreskin, which is easily avoid by cleaning it in the shower, which most guys do anyway, so the only reason nowadays is religious, and they're not real good reasons to mutilate a child's genital organs.
For you "DirkGently" and for all the people reading this thread, untill now you are all mainly wrong. Sorry
So this is the thing:
-It is true that being circumcised reduces the chances of catching some kinds of viruses and etc, but this is not the main reason why (not Jewish) people do it!
The main problem is that sometimes, your foreskin is to tight for your penis! And you CAN'T have sex, at least, not without a condom. Because the condom helps your penis to "slide" in the vagina of your partner, without it, when you have an erection, the foreskin doesn't retract at all, and so, you can't enter your penis in your partner's vagina.
That's the reason I will be circumcised, 'cause "on your own"/self-pleasure (as you want...) you cant have pleasure and reach the orgasm, but in SEX..you can't.
And after reading this...I am bit scared about the pain I'll feel..
Oh god (irony?), let's not get into this again. I vote for a lockage please.DirkGently said:And yet, most parents mutilate their son's genitals before this would even be an apparent issue.

I have thought about this, i wont be circumcising my boys.
Phil 3:3: "For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh." (RSV)I'm confused.
How does one circumcise the mind?
Also, that would be your interpretation of the Bible's words, not the set-in-stone meaning.
You see, now I interpret that differently. As in, the "true circumcision" just being the worship of the Lord, rather than caring about the physical nature of life. So it doesn't matter if you are circumcised or uncircumcised, as long as you follow the Lord.Gamine said:Phil 3:3: "For we are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and put no confidence in the flesh." Otherwise, uncircumcised
