I'll be happy to buy DLC only if it's an actual expansion pack (see shivering isles), or at the very least stuff that was not included in the original game. Hell, usually I only buy DLC if it's part of an overarching story like Broken Steel for fallout 3 or the New Vegas DLC.

If I like the game I do.

Eg. I own all of Bioware's DLC.

I do not own any of the Fable DLC.

Sure! Shit, the community choice pack for Forza 3 was one of the few ways you can drive a Delorean, I've swept up various Fallout 3 DLC (finally completed it, on my way to 100%), and Alan Wake really need the two pieces of DLC for a satisfying conclusion. :)

Now that I'm playing Persona 4, I kinda wish there was some DLC to make it a bit easier to craft stuff, like Tales of Vesperia did.

It depends if the price is right and the content is worth paying for. Borderlands being an example of good value for money(except for the stupid brain collecting missions) while the Dragon Age Origins DLC felt way too short for the price.

I pretty much only play Valve games, and the GabeN does not charge for bonuses(unless you want to, like hats, or hats, or more hats and hats. Did I mention hats? ... I forgot hats, didn't I?)
Paying for maps seems silly to me. (and No, I do not buy hats)

Rarely.

The only ones worth buying are expansion packs (not the same as DLC), and hardly anyone makes those any more.

If I liked the game and I think the DLC will be good (and if I can afford it of course) then I will buy DLC.

Personally don't see the point in new maps for multiplayers, but that may just be because I don't play much multiplayer. If people want to buy them, that's up to them.

No. If the developers felt that their DLC wasn't important enough to put into the main game, then I don't think it is important enough to pay additional money for.

This mindset is going to kill me if they release an amazing expansion for Skyrim. ¬_¬

Yeah, for games I really like I get the DLC, like Assassin's Creed 2 and Fallout 3. Last DLC I bought were the episodes for GTA IV. Needed something new for the holidays.

DLC's are a cancer, as I've always said.

The only DLC's I've bought are for Civilization V.

Sometimes. I bought the Gears of War 2 maps, Bad Company 2: Vietnam, and Undead Nightmare. If it's something that's cheap or at least reasonable I'll get it. I never understood all the hate for DLC.

I very rarely get DLC, only if I really loved the game and think it's worth it. I will try to get my hands on any GOTY edition I can with included DLC.

Expansion =/= DLC. Expansions are much bigger, generally worth the price, and usually come on a disc.

I've bought DLC, but recently it seems to be going toward less for more. last one i bought was the latest Halo reach pack and i've been getting some fun out of that.

I bought all of the DLC for Borderlands before the GOTY thingy came out. Why? Because they are just that good.

I bought Borderlands when it was on offer and the DLC pack when it was on offer, came to about £9-11ish. When the GOTY edition is on offer nowadays it's at ~£7.50 so I don't feel that hard pressed.

I've got the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 so yes/no there.

I had to buy the dlc (technically a dlc) for Beat Hazard to enable aac music as I use itunes. I also got the multiplayer dlc, even though I don't know anyone with it as it was 70p the other day.

Other than those, no I don't think so.

Yes. I've boughta couple of the Fallout 3 DLC packs, a couple Magicka add-ons (I can't live without that cool straw hat), and a couple of others.

It depends if I like the game, and I think the content is worth the price.
