The only thing I eat out of there is Chicken McNuggets and McFlurries. Everything else disagrees with me. That goes for everything fast food, it's just not worth the feeling afterwards.

Except KFC. that's always worth it.

Also, I appear to be one of the few who hate McD chips. Not nice at all.

I swore off of fast food a couple years ago although mostly because my self control could use some work, and if I don't eat anywhere like Micky D's, I'm far more likely to make healthier choices.

A few years ago a lot of McDonalds food issues were exposed through the documentary Supersize Me. After that McDonalds took a huge hit in business, but since then they've slowly recovered. So. do you still eat it?

As for me, I stopped eating it maybe 8 eight years ago but if I'm in a foreign country I will occasionally still eat fries or an apple pie because I know what I'm getting. (I swore off their 'meat' for life).
I haven't seen it, but I was under the impression that Supersize Me's point was that eating nothing but fast food makes you fat (duh). Was I wrong?

Anyway, I'm not a fan of McDonalds, but I'll eat it if I'm on, say, a road trip and me and the people I'm with don't feel like sitting in a restaurant (I.E. we want to get there faster). I have no real objections to them or their business practices though. I may not like them, but I have to admit that they found a niche, widened it up, and do what they do well.

It's delicious, I still eat it.

Although I do sometimes prefer KFC if I am in a fast food mood.

No, it tastes horrible, I'd rather eat at burger king or somewhere else. At least it tastes better. I eat breakfast at Mcdonalds though, sometimes and I've found it to be okay, not as bad as the rest they have

Nope, but not because of the health thing. They just don't have anything a vegetarian can eat. Even the fries are cooked in animal fat. Burger King (probably just as unhealthy) provides some alternatives for those of us who avoid meat, so I hit 'em hard.

No. And I don't either any other fast food.

Except if I'm drunk (rare) and I get a craving for a hamburger out of burger king.

Sure I do. It is probably no more unhealthy than any other processed food you can buy. And frankly, in today's buisness world I don't have the time to cook myself a hot meal from scratch every day or buy my grocceries fresh.

I do so in my holidays but during work periods easy is the key-word.

And to be blunt: Super-Size-Me had absolutely no scientific value.
Why? Because there was no controll group.

If they had put a second guy next to the first one, they forced to eat large amounts of vegetables three times a day, to the amount that he had to vomit from the sheer mass of food, and then had checked that guy's health values after a month... Then you'd have some value.

But in the end such gross single-nutrition is dangerous with any brand of food, not just fast food.

Yes, because it's absolutely fantastic and I love it.

All I got from Super Size Me is that if you eat loads of calories and don't exercise, you'll get fat. Truly ground-breaking stuff, right there.

as much as I love that movie, I do agree, you eat nothing but Mickey D's and get no exercise and you get fat, no shit Sherlock.

OT: McDonald's is great. yeah, it's bad for you, but who cares? it tastes good so long as you get exercise and keep a balanced diet it won't screw you up. it won't make you fat if you don't let it, but the same could be said for any food.
If you eat the same of anything for that long your body won't get everything it needs.
That was expected.
The entire point of the movie didn't make any sense, because it was obvious what was going to happen.
I think there's a movie out there where someone does something like that but with smoking.
I think it's called Super High Me, and a guy does the same thing but with weed.
I still kinda like Super Size Me though, only because some parts are just so damn entertaining (especially when he goes to Texas... no offense to any Texans reading this). What would be interesting is if he did the same thing, but instead of eating McDonald's and getting no exercise, he should eat nothing but vegetables and get no exercise, just to show that, while it's certainly healthier than fast food, healthy foods, when not eaten in moderation, can have the same negative effects.

I think people that don't eat McDonald's had very messed up childhoods, if you look at it closely, Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer probably didn't have McDonald's as a child

I get a dollar chicken sandwich every now and then, they are good.

As for Super Size Me, his "experiment" was terrible. No control to compare it against. Oh, he ate 5000 calories and didn't exercise and it made him fat? Shock! Of course it did, you could eat that many calories worth of anything and it will make you fat if you're not burning it. Just learn to have some self control, get a regular sandwich instead of a super ultra burger.

I'll bet he could have eaten the same stuff on from that movie and with exercise, gotten in better shape. Exercise is key. Actually, didn't some guy do that, making a counter-movie? Whatever, I eat fastfood a couple times a week in yet I'm 135 pounds and 5'8" or 5'9"

Every diet to ever work: eat less and/or do more.
